TRAPPER JOHN ANIMAL CONTROL

On 1/6/13 I signed a contract with this company and they did did an assessment of my home to rid my house of rodents. I paid half of the cost of the job. On the contract they stated to take care of the issue I would need 154' of Flip over guards on my gutters to keep the rodents from coming in and cover 2 vents. I kept hearing the noises from the rodents and called the company 3 times to come out but they did not. In February (2-3-13) they charged the other half of the payment. I called another company to evaluate the job done by Trapper John and they stated it was not complete. I informed Trapper John the job was not done and continued to hear the rodents daily. done. They sent a technician to finish the original job of gutter flip guards. I still hear the noices and have caught 5 rats since they were here March 6. According to their contract Trapper John warrants that the home will remain critter free of the targeted animal from the ares repaired for a period of one year. If re-entry occurs during the specified warranty period, the amimal will be removed and any necessary repairs made at no charge. I have texted with the technician with no response since the 6th of March.

The work was completed, although it took longer than promised. I was told at the time of signing the contract that I would have a one year guarantee on the work, and that if there was re-entry of rodents during that time, that they would come out, re-trap and remove animals, and close up the entry point. I contacted them after 10 months when there was a re-entry. It was challenging to get someone to come back out. Once the technician came out, he set a trap, but did not return to check the traps, or respond to a call to clear the trap once a rodent was caught in it! I had to get someone else to empty the trap. The technician found the entry point, but refused to make the repair without an additional $500 payment, even though the one year warranty was not expired. The company's office is in Florida, and the staff there have not been responsive to my calls. They continue to state that the hole is a "new hole", and therefore not covered by their guarantee to remove all rodents and prevent any re-entry. I am very dissatisfied with this company, feel that I was defrauded, and would definitely not hire them again or recommend them to anyone.
