Tile by John Perry

I had already bought a grey / green glass tile to use as the backsplash, when John saw the tile we had a 20 minute conversation about how that color was wrong for the colors already in the kitchen so i got a more beige colored stone tile that looks a thousand times better.He was able to put it up w/o taking off the old tile which saved money and time as well as not creating any dust or major clean up afterwards. He came on time, completely prepared to work m so glad i listened to his ideas

This is the 2nd time we called John in for tile work. He also did the back splash in our kitchen, and did a fabulous job. Thus, he was the guy we called when we wanted to re-do a small bathroom. He started with demo'ing the entire bathroom, and hauling everything off. He is incredibly conscientious about keeping the other areas of our home clean, and always cleaned up before he left each day. In the bathtub/shower, we had not planned to do a niche. But he recommended the niche, and we are thrilled with the result. We can't say enough about his professionalism and quality of work. Thanks John.

John was incredible. While apprehensive to commit to a start date (due to other jobs), once he started he was top-notch. He cleaned up the work-space after every day, was timely and extremely courteous. The detail he put into the job was meticulous, and my wife and I were exceptionally pleased with every aspect of John's work. He is undeniably a master of his craft, and I'd recommend him without hesitation for any tiling job.

John pulled out the old builder tile (and walls behind it), installed new cement board, then installed new tile in master bath. It looks stunning. He is a lovely guy, a true craftsman, and we'd use him again in a heartbeat. It came out way better than I anticipated and I'm very happy with his work. You will be too.

John did an amazing job on our backsplash! He was very punctual and professional, and when asked his opinion about a tile we were planning to use for our kitchen backsplash, he was very honest with his feedback. He recommended a different type of tile and referred us to a local supplier who had exceptional pricing. We took John's advice and purchased a different tile, which he was able to install 3 days later. He did a superb job with the installation and repairs; I wouldn't hesitate to use John again for another project!!

The job went well from the start. No issues. John works quickly and without hesitation. When there were some decisions to be made, he consulted with me and kept the project moving. The results look amazing and have made my kitchen complete. The job was done cleanly with no extra effort on my part. On time, on budget and just how I wanted it. What more can you ask? For those of you looking for a tile person, use John Perry. I waited a couple of weeks but he is well worth it.

The best experience I ever had, usually you have to jump thru the hoops to get these type tile or any other small job done but this was as easy as 1 2 3, John came on time to gave the estimate which was very reasonable I agreed instantly, Showed up at the promised date and time, started work and I can see the passion john has about installing the tiles, in my opinion he forgets that he is doing a job so let's finish it and move on, he works like he is working in his own kitchen and pay attention to every little detail, no rush to finish the work , if you want to get the work done right then this is the guy, I don't think I am ever getting any type of tile work done in the future from anyone else, John is the our tile guy, Thank you John

First of all, Angie's List needs to provide the choice of an A+ rating because John deserves nothing less. He is a pleasure to have working in your home. He is knowledgeable, listens to what you want and points out things that you might not have considered, not to mention he has an unbelievable work ethic. We had to wait our turn because he is so busy, but I told him we would wait until he was available. We are thrilled with how our bathroom turned out and can't wait to have him do our next project.

John provided outstanding services. His work is great and he was a pleasure to meet. He was very helpful from the first phone contact and consistently did what we discussed in a timely and very professional manner. And he worked his a** off.

GREAT. John works carefully, diligently, on his own. He doesn't let cell phone interfere with his work. He actually shows up exactly when promised. And he respected my property as if it were his own. Would call John Perry again.

Worth the wait! I had called John maybe 6 months ago and was politely told that he was booked solid and we could try back in about 3 months or so. I called back months later and was able to set up an appt. John showed up promptly and explained everything in detail and gave us a very fair price. Over the course of 2 days he completed the job and left us with a beautiful new perfectly tiled floor. John is a professional with a capital "P". Highly recommended.

We are so glad we decided to look for a tile installer on Angie?s List. This is the first time we chose to use the list and we are so glad we did. We interviewed several people and decided John Perry was the right man for the job, after meeting him and reading his many rave reviews. We had to wait several months, but it was definitely worth the wait. We have five bedrooms that had carpet and we wanted to replace it with tile. The tile we chose was a long and narrow tile that would need an expert technician to work with since we wanted a herringbone pattern in the master bedroom. The outcome?Perfect!!! John was extremely professional and a very clean and neat worker. John was a man of his word, when he gave us a time he would be at our home, sure enough that is the time he arrived. John did not invade our privacy, he was very considerate and polite. John only wanted to make us happy and listened to every request we had. John was very trust worthy to the point we had a doctor appointment and left John alone in the house. We recommend John Perry to anyone looking for a real professional, which in todays times is really very hard to find. We would highly recommend John for your tile jobs. He communicated very well, was right on time, did a terrific job, was very neat, worked hard and did exactly what he said he would.

Excellent plus did a great job on the transition into the other rooms which had different tile. Nice cuts and level.

John wasn't able to match the exact tile we already had installed in the shower, but he was able to provide me with information about what was available to make the repairs. I put the decision of choosing the replacement tile in his hands since he's the expert. He made a great selection and left both me and my wife very pleased! John is very nice and a pleasure to have in your home.

John was always there when he said he would be and definitely delivered on the service he said he would provide. The pattern was a bit intricate and he made sure to lay everything out and make sure we were all in agreement on how it was going to look before he got started. I was home during the installation, which John suggested, so that he was able to bring me in and show me things as he worked. He made good suggestions for how the medallions we chose should be laid out and the pattern came out perfectly. His attention to detail was excellent and we were extremely pleased with the job. He was there two days and cleaned up after he left each day. Easy to work with and offered a better price than the tile contractor that our kitchen cabinet provider suggested. I would definitely use John again in the future.

John embodies all of the qualities you would hope for in a contractor for your tile projects! He is responsive, professional, courteous, clean, punctual and an absolute artist in his field! We've completed extensive improvements in our home within the last six months and I have to say that John stands out as the unicorn of the whole bunch! I would hire him again in a heart beat and would confidently recommend him to anyone that needs tile work to be completed.

I contacted Jerry. He was friendly yet professional. We scheduled about three weeks in advance that he would be able to finish my job which included putting up new drywall, prepping the drywall for tile. Jerry assisted me a bit in purchasing the appropriate tile for my bathroom. The weekend he was to do the job he was prompt and got to work right away. I could tell immediately he was quite competent. The bath shower tile came out perfect. I couldn't be happier. About two weeks later I noticed what could have been a small issue with the grout. When I called Jerry he said although it may be nothing I want to come take a look for myself to make sure it was nothing that needed to be corrected. Jerry came by and spent about 30 minutes doing a touch up. It has been about three months and the shower looks amazing. I would highly recommend

John was a pleasure to work with. Very professional and had a strong desire to make sure we were pleased with the work. Was willing to give suggestions on different ideas to make sure the finished product looked great. We were very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend Tile by John Perry.

If you are looking for the absolute best- look no further. John just completed tile work in our living, dining, and master bedroom. Simply stated his work is impeccable. John was here for nine days and because of his amazing attention to detail there was no daily clean-up necessary. He not only came with his own trash can but drop cloths to lay under the tile saw. John has been a delight to work with. He has become an extended member of our family and we look forward to working with him again in the near future.

John is very personable always returns phone calls. His pride in his work shows through the work he does, everything gets cleaned, doesn't leave a mess. John is the only one I will use when I have more work to be done.

Unfortunately John Perry is not taking any new customers for the next 5-6 months. I did appreciate his prompt response.
