Description of Work: I was just lucky to get John's phone from D&B tile Hollywood. |He changed the carpet cover of my three rooms plus five closets for the porcelain wood-kind tiles with the sound proof layer(640 sq. ft). |I am highly recommending John B. Description of Work: John never was able to call me because of an internal glitch in the ANGIE:S LIST website . IWe showed each other our emails and we never heard back because he couldn't reach us. I suggest Angie's list look into their reply send functions ! John came out , was the only company to actually take measurements , really look at our problem and is now sending a quote A lovely man .

Description of Work: John was hired by my contractor to do tile installation for my kitchen renovation. John is a true professional. He showed interested and asked a lot of questions of the architect. I could tell he wanted to get it right. He did. He is meticulous in his measurements. He showed up on time. He worked hard all day and completed the job in three days. He is courteous. I highly recommend him. There aren't too many people left who truly enjoy their work and take pride in it.

Description of Work: john came and gave an estimate. it was a big job including taking up marble floated in mud (jack hammer needed) and putting down porcelain in a condo, while dealing with their rules. he was allowed only 7 hours a day to work and had to deal with service elevators that had to be manned by condo employees. all this caused him to stay an extra week on the job. i was there and saw it happen and understood what he was put threw to get the job done. he did an outside balcony, kitchen, hallway, demo and install a hall bath. he did a great job. worth every penny. neat and knows his trade. As I stated earlier the job took longer than expected because of condo rules. John had promised another person a starting date on a job. Prior to starting the balcony he asked if he could go to the job he promised to do for this other person. He said it would take about 2 weeks to complete and he would return and finish my job as soon as he finished the other job. As promised 2 weeks to the day he was back and finished my job. Honest,timely,good prices,great working ethics and a man of this word, you can't ask for more that that. He even finished with the job in Aventura Fla.and trusted me to deposit payment into his account while i was in NY. I did hahahah

Description of Work: Every time we walked between the kitchen and eat in area you could hear a hollow sound under the tiles. He spent a lot time explaining the alternatives for fixing this problem. He suggested one method of repair that would not necessitate the removal of the tiles. He returned twice to fix this problem using a product he had used numerous times in the past. When this did not work he gave the option of leaving the area as is for now or removing the tile and cementing them down. I decided to have them taken out and then have the tiles cemented back in. He took the tiles out without breaking any of them and then cemented them in. They had been improperly installed initially and over time the problem got worse. He then used a grout chart to match the grout that was from 1994. When everything was done, everything matched perfectly and you could not tell where the work was done. I would definitely recommend him to everyone I know. He would not leave until I was completely satisfied and charged a very fair price for the amount of time he was at my home.

Description of Work: I called John on Saturday 8/27/2011 at approximately 5:30 p.m. to make an appointment for an estimate regarding my shower tile floor. John answered and I described the problem and he told me to try CRL because it is most likely a calcium problem and if that didn't work, call him back and he'd come by. We bought the CRL and used it and it took care of the problem!! Although I did not use John, he was very polite and helpful and he saved me money !! I thought that was very honest of him and I will DEFINITELY call him when I need tile work. Thank you, John, for your advice and honesty !! Donna G.

Description of Work: Called and asked for an estimate for the cleaning and sealing of our marble floors. Left messages twice and never got a return call.

Description of Work: We found John Perry's listing on Angie's list. He returned our call promptly. He was professional in his estimate, the work he performed was beyond excellent. We had a problem with our shower plumbing. John was able to work around our plumber. We were so impressed with his suggestions, and neatness. He is a pleasant person to work with. He made suggestions for our master bath tile placement. He raised the floor of our shower so the water flowed better into the drain. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: Requested available via Email. John returned response within 24 hrs and honestly admitted he was booked out about a month. My project was "in progress" and relatively urgent so that wasn't doable but I think his approach indicated a possible contractor experience.

Description of Work: The shower stall was disintegrated. He rebuilt the shower stall. The price was very reasonable. It looks just fine. I picked him through Angie's List.
