They showed up the first day and then two of the three needed to leave. Only one person worked for the first 5 hours, but they were able to dismantle the existing stairs. The second day, they had car problems and didn't make it until noon. The second day, they also decided that the stairway needed more support structure which would require more lumber and more expense. At the end of day 2 I received a call asking that I approve the expense of another day of labor. The third day, only two of the three were able to work on the job. They did finish, but not until well after dark and were, therefore, unable to do a good job of cleaning up nails and debris. They had overestimated the lumber they needed for the job initially, then ended up having to buy more posts part way through. The job was supposed to be completed in 2 days and took 3 to finish. In the final presentation for payment, there was no documentation showing initial lumber costs, secondary lumber costs, or returned lumber credits... just a lightly itemized bill. I was satisfied with the end product. They built a good, sturdy and reasonably cosmetically correct stairway. I was not satisfied with the professionalism, organizational ability, or communication skills of the organization. I would not be able to recommend their services.
Description of Work: I needed to have a wooden stairway to the second floor of the house rebuilt or repaired. They came and recommended a rebuild using some of the existing structure. We agreed on materials to be used and general time requirements to accomplish the task.

Overall, the experience was good. The handyman arrived on time, looked at the issue, then went to a store to get supplies. I thought he did an excellent job. I haven’t had any problems since.
Description of Work: They fixed a closet rack that had fallen down.

His work was perfect the first time. I never had to call back to ask him to fix or complete any part of the job. I would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Chris delivered and installed subflooring and harwood flooring, sanded, stained, and finished approx 850 sq ft. and took away old materials Chris did work for me years ago. I was so pleased with his work I kept his number and name for all my repair jobs in my home. He is very professional.

I paid a premium price for substandard work. The caulking around the brick molding is very thick. It is very apparent when it shouldn't be. The work done on my deck is very unprofessional and unacceptable.
Description of Work: Hired him to replace exterior brick molding around 8 windows, 2 doors, and 1 dormer window. He did not come out to take measurements and prepare supply list before he and his employee showed up for work (late the first day). They started charging $100 per hour to take measurements and prepare supply list. Then Chris was gone for 3 and 1/2 hours - time for which he billed me. A professional would have had his supplies ready so that one person is on the ladder and another is on the ground. The one on the ladder removes the brick molding and caulks around the window while the other cuts the molding. Chris and Jimmy moved the ladder from window to window removing the molding; then repeated the process caulking around the window; then repeated the process adding the brick molding; then repeated the process caulking. This wasted time and my money. The caulking he used was either the wrong kind, was applied incorrectly, or a combination of both as it started cracking within two weeks. I told him not to come at 10:00 AM as I had a conference call but he came at 10:30 anyway. He continually disrupted me while he was on the property. He was disrespectful of my time and employer and dishonest in his invoice. He parked on my lawn, didn't clean up mud from my front porch, left caulking that was dropped on my porch without attempting to clean it up. I had discussed the possiblity of building steps off of my deck. On Wednesday 5/13 I asked Jimmy to place the materials for the steps underneath the deck so that it would not be damaged that I didn't want the steps built. I also left with Jimmy a note to Chris requesting a detailed invoice and a check for $1000. They came on Thursday 5/14 while I was not a home and built the steps. They did not get a building permit for this and did not build them to code. The steps are at a 45 degree angle making them too steep to be safe. When I received the invoice I was truly upset at the charges. Chris charged for time when he was not at my home working, charged $124 for dump fees which were not an approved charge, added charges which were not documented and he didn't provide receipts for.

This guy was horrible. He arrived late, yet put 9 am on the invoice. He also took about an hour to 1 1/2 hours lunch break to go get a bigger sheet of drywall, yet billed me for all but .5 hour prorate. The place to get the sheet of drywall isn't far away. So the guy shows up at 9:15 to 9:30 am, works till 11:30, comes back around 1 pm and works to 2:30, then informs me he has to go to another job site but that he will be back Tuesday to finish up. I then get a call that he can't make it until Friday. When he did finish the job it wasn't the greatest. If your going to use these guys, keep it small and simple and try to hammer them on a price upfront because believe me, it adds up. Also read your invoice carefully.
Description of Work: I had Handyman of Georgia fix a piece of drywall that was buckling.
