I highly recommend The Garage Dude! After going over what we wanted to do, and sending him pictures of what we were working with. He provided a quote, and scheduled an appointment to come and get my garage in order. He de-cluttered, helped me sort junk, from keepsakes, and even donated items for me on my behalf. He assembled shelves for me, and installed bike racks and an utility rack for all of my garden tools. We down-sized homes, and didn’t realize how many tools I’ve accumulated over the years doing landscaping work and storing office supplies for me and my wife’s business. He was super helpful in getting everything organized for us. Save yourself the trouble, and hire him!

Scott starts out by listening carefully to your garage concerns and goals and then sets a plan to work together to make that happen. He is high energy and very task oriented and focused on a successful end goal. To that end, he will keep the person or people he is working with “on task” at all times. I first met Scott (“The Garage Dude”) when I wanted to organize my mess of a garage. I’d seen one of his signs near my neighborhood and cold called, so I had no idea what to anticipate. Now, a few years later, I’ve lost count of the number of home projects we’ve worked on together. I think so highly of Scott as both a professional and a person that it’s hard to find words to do it justice. He met me at a time when my child had just been diagnosed with Autism and I was trying to learn how to keep bulky occupational therapy equipment at home, and struggling to stay organized as a working mom with a young child. Later, when I downsized into a new home, Scott took on the challenge of optimizing the space and exceeded all expectations with the storage he added in our closets, the TV he mounted in the living room for maximum flexibility in the space, and the coat closet he optimized for multiple functions. Next, I’ve asked him to help me re-imagine my daughter’s bedroom; he will build bunk beds and install lighting and a bookshelf. Scott brings a sharp mind, a meticulous eye for detail, and a good heart to every job he takes on. I’ve never had a single concern about his work - it has always been perfect (seriously, perfect!) And I’m so happy and comfortable working with him that he feels like family. Most importantly, Scott finds every opportunity to leave a space better than he found it, and he understands the responsibility that accompanies working with you on your home. He literally transformed my space in three hours, gave me a bunch of organization tips, and items to purchase to maintain the space. It wasn't just help to organize, it was his efficiency, his system, and the education I got out of it. 100% worth it.

We figured now was a great time to tackle our garage reorganization project so we contacted Scott (The Garage Dude) to install a garage organization system. O.M.G! I am still in AWE of how he was able to get all the 'stuff' on the walls of my garage. Being in my field, I host a LOT of events + have two little girls with no basement so our garage is our catch all and I was embarrassed to even open my garage door. I can now fit BOTH my cars in the garage, everything has a place, labeled, etc. He more than exceeded my expectations and is so reasonably priced for what he does (I had three other quotes). We sweated it out from 10am - 4pm, but it was worth it! Now it's time to reorganize some kids play spaces...

The Garage Dude delivered. On time and meticulous, Scott (the owner) came up with a great design for my somewhat small garage, I'm in a town home. We went over the plans, made some small adjustments and managed to recover substantial storage area. In all, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. I was at my wit's end with all of my husband's projects in our garage. There was very little room to move and it was impossible to find anything. Fortunately, Scott came to the rescue! He was very helpful keeping us on track and staying positive even when our garage looked like a daunting project. He was great at explaining how to make separate piles for sorting and zones in the garage for organizing. I hope to have him come back and help us with the basement.

I had a great experience with Scott. He was able to meet me for an estimate on my schedule and really listed to what we were trying to accomplish. Scott has so much experience with organizing, he understood our needs and wants better than we did. But at the same time, he is not pushy at all and very accommodating if you have certain ideas. He works with you to come up with a plan that makes sense. Scott is also very thorough - once we came up with a design plan, we went through at least 3 drafts before we settled on a final plan. And then, after everything was completed to near perfection, we changed our mind on something and Scott promptly came out and moved a rack over. The Garage Dude is all about organizing your life - not just your garage. It sounds quite dramatic, but our life is absolutely so much better after getting the storage solutions installed in our garage. It makes everyday life easier by knowing where stuff is. Also, our really small garage space has seriously been maximized (no more squeezing the garbage cans past car and scraping the walls. No more jamming the bike in between the stroller and the newspaper basket. No more "where did I put the gardening supplies." Everything is visible or stored away in bins. The day-to-day stuff is withing arms reach, and the "Costco" stuff (as Scott likes to stay) is quickly accessed with a stepstool as needed. It looks better. So much better. I'm not embarrassed to leave the garage open any more! The shelves look extremely durable and the hooks are strong and come in various sizes. And all of this was installed less than 30 days after the initial consult. For my wife, who needs everything yesterday, this was a huge bonus. I did my homework and came to the conclusion that The Garage Dude was the best option for me, and the price was right. One of the best LIFE decisions I have made!

Scott changed my life! I had collected so much junk and mementos over a lifetime and didn't know where to start in terms of throwing things away and organizing all the stuff I wanted to keep. Initially, I hired Scott to help me clean out my garage which had boxes stacked up to my head, full of things I had been moving house-to-house for years. It was cleaned out and organized within 3 hours! He knew just how to help me sort through everything that I wanted to keep, throw away, or donate. Then we came up with a strategy for organizing the garage with racks on the walls and shelving. Now, everything is off the floor, hung up, and in storage bins with labels. What a relief! Since he did such a great job with the garage, it gave me the courage and inspiration to tackle a room in my house that was full of more boxes and junk. I found things I had totally forgotten about and wanted to keep but also many, many things I was able to throw away. Again, Scott helped me organize everything into labelled bins. Now when I come across things in the rest of my house that I want to store, I know just where to put them. The next time I move, I will already have things labelled and ready to go, with no worries about what to keep or throw away. Best of all, I have more room in my house to use on a day-to-day basis. Scott is fantastic to work with. He's punctual, efficient, and has an upbeat attitude which makes the task of cleaning and organizing a breeze. I wish I had found him years ago! Also, I was a little embarrassed about the junk and mess in my garage and storage, but Scott has seen it all and is judgment-free. I was surprised by how infectious his positive attitude encouraged me to throw away all the junk that had been holding me hostage and taking up so much space for years. I really can't recommend Scott more highly as a guide for cleaning up and organizing your life. He's not just for garages, he can tackle any space in your home that you've been wanting to free up. Thanks Scott! Also, he can call and have your junk hauled away by another company and will take donatable goods to charity organizations himself. It's just one more way that makes the process easier.

Scott (The Garage Dude) did a great job on our garage. He came out and helped us plan what we needed, and then installed a great new organizational system that looks great. He handled the planning of the job, and then we used another contractor for the painting and flooring. Scott then came in and installed his organizational system including organizing all the stuff we had in the garage and getting it up on the shelves and hooks he installed. We are much happier with our garage now.
