I called Appliance Doctor to fix an issue with my refrigerator leaking water on the floor a few days before I was going to leave for vacation. They returned my call promptly and scheduled an appointment for two days, which their first availability. The repair technician (David) called me ahead of time as I requested and arrived exactly at the scheduled time. I had already researched the issue and knew exactly what the problem was but did not know how to fix it. Within 5 minutes of arrival, David had diagnosed the problem and recommended a repair solution for me that would be covered under the manufacturers warranty since it was a known issue. David was professional and knowledgable about the repair. He had the necessary part in his truck and began changing it out within no time. He completed his work quickly and took very good care not to damage my hardwood floors when moving the fridge. He even used a stain pen to cover up any scuff marks that were made. I will definitely use Applicance Doctors again. Great job David!

The serviceman (Cory) from Appliance Doctor came on 7/10 to fix the dryer, but didn't have the part in his van, so came back 7/11-2014. He installed the broken part successfully. My husband asked if he could look at the dishwasher too. Before he started he let us know how much extra it would be plus went through warranties, etc. He was a very professional and very nice young man. So far both appliances work fine. We have used Appliance Doctor several times before and have always been pleased with their service and will definitely call them again.

If you are lucky enough to deal with Brent then go for it. If his son or anyone else, stay away. I called them out originally for a sealing issue which after much headache Brent resolved. Next time I had problem with fridge, I called them and paid the service fee only to be told that the freezing was due to the way I put stuff in the fridge and that there was nothing wrong with the ice maker but they can try to replace and see if that takes away the problem of the smelly ice but I should buy some ice cube trays and if that ice smells it has to do with food odors. So I accepted his explaination. I then followed his recommendations but still had food freezing and smelly ice. So I called back. Now I was told it was a dampner problem for the freezing and that for the smelly ice there is nothing they are willing to do and I had to pay the service fee again. Asked for Brent and I never heard back from them.

I have used this company for several years and they have always given excellent service at a great price. They even fixed things that another company told me could not be fixed, at all. They never seem to take advantage of us by talking us into more repairs, but are always honest about something not actually needing repair. They have fixed my Sub Zero refrigerator, my Kitchen Aid gas stove top, my Kitchen Aid oven, my Maytag washer and dryer, and my German dishwasher (can't remember the brand, right now!). When they fix things, they do it well and try to do the least amount of work necessary to get the results we need. They always tell us that if they have to come back, we won't have to pay another trip fee. Top quality work with honesty and fair pricing. On the last visit for my very old washer, Stephen talked me out of buying a new set, fixed my old washer to be like new, and even spent time suggesting what washer and dryer we should consider buying next and why. Love these guys!

Joe was personable and efficient. Workmanship was strong and he explained all the warranty information.

Basically, he quickly diagnosed the problem as one for an electrician and was ready to leave, but since we had paid for the service call anyway, he refilled our freon and cleaned the filthy wiring that was exposed when the refrigerator had had to be pulled out to determine to nature of the problem. We were sorry he couldn't solve the whole problem, but very satisfied with his professionalism and honesty.

It was fine. It started out fine but then the refrigerator was not cooling enough so someone came by and told me to adjust the controls in a certain way but that even made it warmer. That was not helpful and then he said that I've got a thirty-day warranty and that if it doesn't work out, I'd call them again. I had to cancel an appointment because I was out of town and when I got back, I made another appointment and spoke to someone there. The day of the appointment, I asked for extra minutes to get from my office to my home and they said, "Okay, that's great." I called them up because I haven't heard anyting and they told me, "Well, there's not an appointment scheduled." I said, "I'm not making this up." He said, "Don't get all angry with me." I answered, "I'm not getting angry but you're telling me that I made this up because you don't have a record and one of the girls acknowledged it. That's really not a good customer service." I rescheduled and they came out. The guy who came was more thorough in checking things and told me what to do which was totally the opposite of what the other guy said to do and now it seems to be operating fine. I'm having second thoughts in using him again because it's a waste of my time.

Would no doubt, use these guys again.

Calle them and they were very prompt; order parts which only took a day. Water was leaking out of the bottom of my front loader washing machine (from underneath). Chris knew exactly what the problem was - new valves. I was extremely happy with Chris and his knowledge and professionalism. I would never hesitate to call them if needed ever again. Yes, I am one of their happy customers.

The representative on the phone sounded annoyed by my requests and I had to repeat my self twice. The price was outrageous compared to other options on Angie's list. Just the service call was $87.95 and all repair labor was extra.

They came on time but the rate was just like giving them a call so I have to pay for the labor fee as well as the price for the component. UPDATE: Sep. 2014 - Unfortunately, the fuse that was placed, needed replacement. This time around, the technician came on time, provided an accurate estimate including letting me know that the parts and labor were covered under warranty from the previous job and completed the repair work on time. I recommend using this company and will give them a call the next time I have an appliance that needs repairs.

Richard came the same day I called, immediately diagnosed the problem, had the part in his truck and fixed the problem within 40 minutes of arriving. He was professional, courteous, engaging and able. I will use them again and will recommend them to my neighbors.

It was an emergency situation because the subzero refrigerator went out while we were out of town. No one could come right away except they were able to send someone out the next day. He did not have the part and he overestimated by a lot how much it was going to cost to fix it. It ended up being a lot cheaper. They sent the same person back and he was phenomenal. He fixed it in 30 minutes so it didn't take him as long as he thought it would. It took a week to get the part because they were unable to ship anything up north because of the weather. The price included the service call.

I thought I needed a new ice-maker. Peter explained it was probably just a valve which was much less expensive. He replaced the valve and advised me that if the ice-maker still needed replacing he would return with a new one. We would be charged for parts but not for an additional service call. Very personable. He encouraged me to install an inexpensive filter on the ice-maker water line that would reduce mineral deposits in the new valve. He then told me the trick to cleaning the almost impossible to find coils in order to extend the life of my appliance. This trick was NOT in the owners manual. I would use The Appliance Doctor again in a heartbeat.

They ended up not doing the repair, the guy was telling me how much I would be able to save if I could get the part myself. He fixed it so that I could temporarily use it, and told me where I could get the part from, for much less than if they put it. I probably saved 97 Dollars.

On time, quickly got it running again.

I didn't feel very comfortable moving forward with them and proceeded to call other companies on Angie's List who were more able to give me a better estimate of price for service.

It was fine. They showed up on time when they said they were going to. There was a part that they had to order so we had to reschedule the actual service. Otherwise they did the work as they had arranged to. We are always surprised at how much it cost, especially for service calls.

Prompt, responsive scheduling. The repairman was on time, professional, polite, thorough. Explained what was wrong, what options were. Good quality work. Couldn't ask for more.

Our refrigerator was occasionally making a very loud noise. The technician listened to our concern and accurately diagnosed and fixed the problem.

Called Appliance Doc at 7:45 am on 12/23 with a cry for help ASAP. They gave us a same day 9am - 1pm window for service. One of the owners came by about 9:45 with diagnostic equipment for Chris who arrived 20 minutes later. Chris asked enough questions to thoroughly understand our problem and determine what steps we had taken to compensated for the baking problems. He ran diagnostics and determine that both ovens were cooking 10 degrees higher than the temp. reading on the console. He re-calibrated the read outs with the actual temperature in each oven. Looks like we are now good to go. Impressed when one of the owners dropped off equipment to speed up the process. Chris, the technician, was a nice young man... very friendly helpful and professional. .

I contacted the provider on 12/02/13 to install a microwave. I spoke with the receptionist who helped me set up an appointment for the following Thursday between 8am - noon. I was told that a phone call would be made prior to 8am by the person doing the work. I got a call by a supervisor after 10am. The tech couldn't make it because of illness. Set up another appointment for Sat after 2pm. Got a call by the guy who is suppossed to arrive at my house after 3pm asking, "is this a new microwave intallation?". I said that I've rarely heard of anyone replacing a microwave with the same exact make & model of the one being replaced. He said "we don't install new microwaves. We only install microwaves if the frame is already up". I spoke to 2 people who could have given me that info and saved me time and $$ (taking time off work). I would not recommend these guys to anyone.
