Description of Work: Replaced the pump on our 15 year old Maytag clothes washer. |He diagnosed the problem quickly and ordered the new pump on April 17. He came back and installed the new pump the next day. He called each day prior to arrival and during the window of time, as promised.

Description of Work: They repaired my dryer. However, I was initially told that the part I needed was no longer available or on back order. My husband found the part on Ebay. I called The Appliance Doctor back to let them know we found the part, and they were able to come back out and repair it within an hour!

I appreciate you calling us to repair your dryer. Unfortunately the control part for you dryer is unavailable from Whirlpool. We only use original factory parts because of our warranty. I am glad you found the part, however, we do not purchase anything on ebay because of our warranty. If we can be of service in the future we will be happy to assist you.

Description of Work: I had a problem with an ice maker. They were extremely professional and punctual. My only issue is that the first service technician told me the unit just needed cleaning so I scheduled a time for him to do that. It cost me around 300. About two months later, it quit working again, At that time I had to schedule another service call and the prior work was no longer covered under the 30 day warranty. Turns out I needed a new part all along.It is now working fine and the unit probably needed leaning anyway but I'm a bit perturbed I had to pay for 2 service calls.

Description of Work: For $90, took 15 minutes for Appliance Doctor tech to say he didn't have the part for the range in his truck. He said the entire electric board needed to be replaced for an additional $400. Had a separate call with LG about a possible recall and the LG tech came out and said it was only a piece of the electric board that needed to be replaced and charged $200. Appliance Doc tech should have been more thorough for a service call - do not recommend.
