I had done a lot of clean up and decluttering but really needed someone to come in a give me an objective view on how the house looked before putting it on the market. We went room by room and she gave me advice on furniture placement, picture hanging and decor arrangments. While the list was long, she prioritized and worked to use many of the things that I already had on hand. She also gave me a short, strategic list of purchases to make and clues on where to get them and not spend a lot. We have had the house on the market for a week now and the first few showings have had positive feedback, just waiting for an offer!

The response to my agent's listing and MLS photos was immediate, 7 showings in 7 days. The house was under contract in 10 days. Cathy Morrow is a pleasure to work with. Her technical, design and business skills are razor sharp. Client communications are excellent. She's a great listener and was readily available during the project via phone and email. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: Cathy Morrow of Room Reflections provided exceptional interior design and staging services for my home renovation project just completed. The project was intended to position my home for sale. After an initial 2 hour consult, Cathy selected my interior paint colors, all new light fixtures, ceiling fans, tile and design for kitchen backsplash, bathroom fixtures and accessories. The next phase Cathy implemented was staging the house for sale. She used as much as my furniture as possible and brought in several pieces of rental furniture to enhance my spartan bachelor inventory. My own and rented pieces were skillfully selected and positioned by Ms. Morrow including hanging artwork, bedding, towels, plants, candles and sculpture. It is important to understand that the goal of this Room Reflection's project was to make my home appeal to the broadest base of buyers, not necessarily to suit my personal tastes. This required staging to optimize the MLS-Internet pictures, increasing response from potential buyers and allowing prospects to imagine themselves living in the home. As an expert in current design trends and home buyer preferences Cathy pulled this off with perfection.
