Called PlumbPro to fix my guest shower which had been broken for a couple of months and they said a technician could be at my house within the hour. Less than an hour later the technician arrived and completed the job very quickly. He was courteous and friendly.

We called at 9:00am Monday morning to have someone come out and someone came out my 2:00pm the same day. Fixed it right up, was very friendly and professional, and worked quickly. Price was fair and quality of work couldn't have been better. We will definitely call them out again for any future plumbing needs and refer them to our friends.

I noticed a bulging ceiling tile in the basement at 7 PM. By 9:15 it was repaired and I went to bed with peace of mind. Harold was prompt, courteous, and described the problem of old copper pipes which are vulnerable to pin-hole leaks. I used a $25 coupon which I had just received in the mail to off-set the after-hours charge of $100. For immediate service on something that had to be done, it was worth it. The problem was solved before it became a BIG problem. I have used Plumbpros in the past and have found them responsive and professional.

I realized my water heater was leaking on Thurs night. Fri afternoon I called PlumbPros, and someone picked up right away (I actually called another highly rated company from Angie's Lists on Thurs evening but still haven't received a call back). She said they had a really busy day, would try to fit me in between 2-5, but would call me back to confirm. She called back an hr or so later and said a tech would be at my house within an hour. I was thrilled! The tech that showed up (I'm terrible with names) was a younger guy, very polite, professional, and put me at ease right away. He confirmed the leak and gave me options for replacement, completely willing to discuss which one would be best for my circumstances. Once decided, he immediately began work to replace. While it was draining, he even took at look at my downstairs toilet that kept running after flushing. He had it fixed after a second by simply adjusting the water level (yay!). Went back to work on water heater after and let me know when it was complete. Everything was explained to me, from relighting the pilot light to adjusting water pressure/temp. Price was as originally quoted, $50 off for an Angie's List coupon. I would absolutely call them again.

Just a note to other members: on the Plumbpros Angie's List page, Plumbpros goes out of their way to imply that they service all of Georgia. They say their address is "Your City, Georgia" and that they service the "Entire Area." Before you call them, be sure to go over to their website and see the list of cities they service. Because what they really mean is that they service Atlanta and the surrounding areas. I'm 40 minutes south of the Atlanta airport and I'm outside their service area. So they don't service My City, Georgia. They may be a great provider, but the information they list on AL is not useful or accurate.

We are sorry that we could not help you with your issue. We do not go out of our way to act like we service all of Georgia. Angie's List asked us for the cities we service and we gave them that information. What appears on the site we have no control over. We would never try to miss led a customer. If we come up on the internet as servicing your area and we do not we tell you we don't go there. I'm sorry you wasted a phone call, but we have never told Angie's List that we go to that area. Thank you

Tech did not have the parts to replace the broken faucet so he would have had to return during the week for another cost of $315.00. I called Moen and they sent the parts to me directly for no cost as there was a lifetime warranty and I was able to replace the parts myself. On 4/17/14 I called Plumb Pros and spoke to the Manager, Richard, in regards to the extremely high cost of the initial repair. He thought the price was fair, however, he refunded us $30.00 which I feel was not sufficient. We hired Plumb Pros in the past for a bathroom remodel and I even explained to Richard that we are ready for the 2nd bath remodel, he was not interested.
Description of Work: responded to our home on a Sunday to repair a bath tub faucet that would not shut off. Installed two shut offs for tub (he did not have the replacement part available) cost of $365 added to $99.00 Sunday house call visit, (but did give 5% discount for being an Angie's List customer).

Thank you for allowing us to help you with this issue. The price to make the repair was approved before we started the work. The invoice was signed after the work was done saying customer was satisfied with work performed. Customer calls a couple of days later and complains about the price. He asks for $30.00 refund which was given immediately. Not sure how we could have made customer more happy.

The plumber that came out started the job, but did not complete it and did not do it correctly. After almost two months of calling the plumber, we finally called the owner to report the problem. The owner of PlumbPro ended up coming out to our house to inspect the job, ensure the repairs were completed correctly and gave us a partial refund. I understand the employee no longer works with this company.

We really did our best with this job. Our tech misdiagnosed the problem and still cahrged the customer. Once we found out that this happened we let the tech go. The customer was trying to call the tech and not the company. As soon as she let the company know there was an issue, I personally went to see her. The job was $1,250.00 and I personally wrote her a check for that amount. We refunded every penny. If the customer had contacted management the issue would have been addressed immediately. This isn't a fair review as this isn't the way our company operates.

We had a supply line burst underneath a guest room sink, which caused flooding. Spoke with them quickly on the phone the evening it occurred - around 9pm. The shut-off valve was not completely taking care of the problem, so we turned the water off to the house, decided not to have the emergency service, go to bed, and have them come out the next morning. They came out first thing. Took care of the problem and we were interested in reviewing the whole house since we just purchased it, and these types of hoses were 'giving away' after 15 yrs. We also reviewed our options with the hot water tank, since it is original to the home as well. They were polite, professional, and informative. Showed my husband how to do something while they were doing it. Not sure if they are a little pricey, but it was definitely good service. We have a whole run-down of what we are planning to do and just need to call them, if we are interested. They were also helpful with making a phone call to our home warranty company.

Harold arrived when expected and worked quickly and professionally to clear the drain problem. He cleaned up very well after the job was completed. We will need to eventually have sewer lines replaced to street due to tree roots growing in them. Very positive experience with the plumber today though.

I contacted four different companies to get quotes on replacing my water heater. Plumbpros actually came to my house to perform their estimate instead of just over the phone (makes me much more confident the price will stay the same). Initially they quoted the 2nd lowest price but after a $20 coupon and their membership plan (15% off if you pay.... $89?) the total overall price (price of membership included) was actually about $50 less than the next cheapest (Costco/Delta Mechanical). Even if they hadn't been the cheapest, I would have preferred to use PlumbPros. Phil(? I am bad with names) was right on time for the estimate and was professional, quick, and thorough. He went through each item of the water heater and what would or wouldn't need to be done so there were no surprises. Later, after getting other estimates, I contacted PlumbPros and spoke with Michael who answered some questions and worked out pricing of the coupon and membership discount. Then again when I decided to get a quote for a larger water heater. He was also very professional and thorough and obviously made a point to stop what he was doing to take however long I needed answering my questions. I was given a window for the install and Phil was punctual again and got to work immediately. He drained the water heater into my bathtub instead of out into the lawn which I definitely appreciated. The overall install took about 3-4 hours start to finish and the price came out exactly as quoted. The new water heater seems to get water hotter than the old one did, faster than the old one did. And lasts longer than the old one did. So far I am very happy with the job done.

After another highly rated plumber on Angie's List told me (with a bad attitude) that the tiles in the shower needed to be ripped out so he could replace the shower valves, PlumbPros simple reworked the existing washers on the stems (which were new) and lubricated the stems. GREAT!! I called around 9:30am and technicians (Terry and Angel) arrived at 1:00pm, on time!! Both were friendly and professional. They gave me an estimate which I accepted and they immediately went to work. By 5:00pm they were finished and all went well. No problems so far. That's what I call Fast, Dependable Service with a twist of reasonable cost included. Thank you Plumbpros Plumbing for sending Terry and Angel.

I have used Plumbpros since July of 2007. They are great people. They spend the time telling my how a system works and what it needs. I have a home which was built over 70 years ago and the systems are a mix of old cast iron, copper and plastic. Plumbpros never seems to be confused by my mix match. They have solved every problem I've had so far in the house's rehab. The latest was a sprung bathroom pipe which occurred at 3 am.

Overall, good service but I felt it was somewhat too pricey for the work done. The cold from a few weeks ago burst what turned out to be two pipe sections in my garage. Plumber found the leaks, cut through the drywall and repaired them. Very professional and good quality work done. I have nothing but positive things to say about the work performed. The price to fix the first leak was a bit high but I would have been fine with it if that was it or my second leak was deeply discounted as the plumber was already out here and had the appropriate materials. A test was done to see if that was the only problem, and unfortunately down the line there was another leak as well. Plumber cut another hole and fixed that. The pricing structure of this business, flat rate piecemeal, drove up a small, simple second repair where initial costs to do the job such as materials, travel time, gasoline, etc. should have been nearly eliminated or greatly reduced but made a very large impact to the cost of my overall service. If not for this second leak charge I would have given a "B" for price. Would recommend if you know exactly what services you need, but in a case like mine I'm not sure if it was the best fit for my needs.

On January 7, a pipe burst in my kitchen after temperatures fell to the single digits. I contacted several other plumbers, but because of the heavy demand, they were not able to come out until the following day. So I was please when Plumbpros said they could be out later that evening. I was told over the phone that because it would be after 5pm, there would be an emergency fee of $99. They also told me that the diagnostic detection would be $225. I felt I was in a desperate situation, so I agreed. Two plumbers showed up before 5. When they tore down a section of sheetrock, they immediately found the leak. They also told me that I needed to replace the backstop on the water heater. I was shocked when they showed me the bill. Although I agreed to the $99 ?emergency fee? (even though they arrived before 5) and the $225 diagnostic detection (although they immediately found the leak), they charged an additional $345 to replace a 3 inch section of copper pipe. They also charged me $225 for the backstop. The total bill was $894 for about 2 hours work. I believe Plumbpros took advantage of the me because of the situation. BTW, a backstop at Home Depot costs $45. Although the two plumbers were cordial and polite to me, they were fighting between themselves the entire time. I have shows the bill to other contractors who told me I definitely got soaked (pun intended). They also encouraged me to write this review. Although Plumbpros put sticker on my water heater for future reference, I won't use them again and cannot recommend their services.

Plumbpros installed a new water service line in our front yard. Our old line broke due to a tree root cracking the pipe, and Plumbpros was the fastest company to respond to our emergency request. They were also very fair, middle-of-the-road on price, and gave us a great warranty. The company was very easy to work with and the plumbers were all extremely knowledgeable and hard-working. I have recommended their service to several of my neighbors already.

what a pleasant and painless experience I had with PlumbPros (Terry Finnan). He was on time and very quick in assessing and fixing the problem with my toilet. I called Plumbpros Plumbing at approximately 12pm on January 8, 2014 to repair a frozen/busted pipe on my exterior tankless water heater. An appointment was scheduled for that evening between 5 and 7pm. At approximately 6:00pm, Mr. Bill Scearce, technician, arrived . He informed me that he could make repairs right away. He repaired the leak on a three fourth inch copper line , hot side, under the tankless water heater that had froze and busted. It took approximately forty-five minutes for him to complete the job. Mr. Scearce was very professional and courteous during the entire time. The cost of the job was $339.00 ( -$20 for Angie's List coupon). The entire experience with this company was an excellent one. I will use this company again for future plumbing repairs.
