+ 0 moreThey charge $180 for the first hour and then $90 for every hour after that. The first guy lost the plans and they had to come back to talk to us again. I wasn't too impressed, and he gave us a bid of $10,000. We weren't talking about whirlpools, spas, and Japanese fish. The charges were outrageous. The lumber they were talking about was going to be $32 and I could have gotten it for $8. A pallet of grass was $500 and I can get it for $180. I am not going to use them, because I can do it myself for about $2500. He never called back, and there wasn't any follow-up service. I liked Pikes, they had beautiful flowers at reasonable prices. They were way too expensive. I believe they were sub-contractors.
Description of Work: Pike Family Nurseries gave us a bid on landscaping. They came up with a plan and then how much it was going to cost. I could buy all of the plants and stuff that I would need, or they could do it. They quoted me for four pallets of grass, putting up a 20 foot retaining wall, and it wasn't much that they were going to be doing. They didn't do the job.
