Miracle Method of NW Atlanta Surface Refinishing

Miracle Method of Atlanta has absolutely abominable customer service. Completely unprofessional and insulting. (I have the shocking conversations recorded) They do not complete jobs as promised. They send unskilled people to your house to do work. (Although it is not the worker’s fault- he was a nice guy, it’s the company’s fault for hiring subcontractors who don’t even know how to refinish a tub. (And he also voluntarily said Miracle Method is a horrible company to work for! ) They lie about what they promised you. And then when you catch them in a lie (all conversations were recorded) they have no choice but to admit they were wrong and then decide to tell me that they are “parting ways”and not completing the job. The “office manager” will not pass on our information to the owner so we are going straight to corporate. Guess that’s what happens when you call out liars and scam artists. They hide. Miracle Method is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. And we own a design company and have worked with hundreds of vendors for both residential and commercial jobs so I have a lot to compare too. They are the bottom of the barrel. Heed the warning. Stay away!

I was very pleased with the professionalism and quality, from the time of the estimate to completion. All staff were all very courteous and knowledgeable, including Zach who gave the estimate, Maggie in the front office and helped me choose the colors when I visited the office, and Steve who performed the work. I was even impressed with the paperwork. Steve was timely and superbly focused. He explained all the steps thoroughly and gave me updates throughout the project. This project was a great alternative to the time, effort and cost of gutting out my bathrooms. Based on my piece of mind and the quality of the service and product, I'd say it was well worth the price.

They did exactly what was advertised. The work made a huge difference in my kitchen. Because of the work they had done, my house sold in 10 days.

I can finally use my walk-in shower again. The smell was nowhere near as bad as I had expected. The technician ran a vent out a window. Job took about 6 hours with a 24 hour wait before use. It would be nice if they came up with an online payment method. I live close enough I was able to drive to their office to make payment in person as I was not comfortable with the other payment options.

There were fabulous.

They did a great job. Two people came out and it took about 4 hours to complete the work. The communication was good. Expect good quality and a good product.

Did a very good job and have come back out to fix a couple of minor spots. Overall am pleased with the work.

Every time I spoke with anyone they where always profession, helpful, and friendly. They always returned calls and the price quoted was upfront and correct. When one young man arrived to do the job, I was a little unsure he could get it done by his self. But he really knew what he was doing. He drilled holes in the bottom of the tub and put in a foam to support the bottom of the tub. Then fixed a 5" crack in the bottom of one tub, fixed the drilled holes, and sanded everything . He then cleaned the tubs good with a cleaner and scrubby that also roughed up the surface. Sprayed a bonding agent, colorant, and sealer. Plus a 5 year warranty. The job was finished in the 2 days that was told to me. My tubs look new. I am very happy with the service provided from beginning to end. My hope is that it wears as good as it looks.

That evening went by and no e-mailed estimate. Several days went by and no e-mailed estimate. After a week, I called Zachary and left a message with both my phone number and e-mail address (just in case he'd gotten it wrong) and still no response. It's been almost two weeks now. During the appointment I had asked Zachary if the job looked doable and he said "yes", and that there were many other bathrooms he'd seen that were in much worse shape, so I don't think it was a matter of them not being able to do the job. However, even if that were the case, the least he could have done would have been to tell me so. Very unprofessional. I took off and missed work just to make the appointment.

Tray, the technician, spent the better part of two days working hard to fill in grout, prime surfaces and apply final coats. Equipment was set up in the master bathroom, with ventilation allowing for the removal of dust and fumes. In a courteous and efficient manner, he provided a full explanation of the process and the timeline for completion and first use of the surfaces. The paperwork went smoothly. A few days after the job was completed and the surfaces had completely dried, we noticed a few areas in the shower where further coverage was needed. We called the NW Atlanta office and a return visit was scheduled within the next week. Tray returned and worked several more hours, taking pains to make sure everything was right. We would definitely use this company again.

We recently refinished our upstairs bathroom and everything was brand new except for the tub. We contacted Miracle Method of NW Atlanta to inquire about the tub refinishing. Our experience with the owners along with the gentleman who came out to do the work (Ben) was exceptional from the upfront communication all the way through project completion. We were initially concerned about fumes in the home and dirt but Ben did an exceptional job at mitigating the fumes (the next day we could not smell anything) and keeping the bathroom completely clean. The bathtub looks amazing! We are very pleased with our overall experience and would highly recommend this company...thank you!

The initial contact and arrangements were outstanding. That was the last part that was. I had made arrangements for them to start at 7:30 am because of a prior business arrangement at 8:00 am. They said that would be no problem. That morning they called, and told me "well, we didn't read the work order until now, and can't be there until later." Unprofessional. They showed up eventually and went to work. The pre-work instructions had made a major issue of how everything needed to be out of the bath, because it would be paerped over/ taped up. It was NOT so: when I got home, the door to the bath was standing wide open. There is dust (either from removal of old surface or installation of new) ALL over my bath walls and the hallway leading to it. But that's easy enough for me to clean and the tub looked good EXCEPT the shower door was not removed. This is not a problem as long as I have THIS particular shower door, but assuming their work lasts a while, when I replace that door there is going to be a problem. Then when I first used the tub, it leaked: pouring water into my basement. They can not have tested it at all. I immediately called the owner, who acted like "this is impossible, never happens" etc etc, and only agreed to come fix it when I offered to pay a plumber to fix and deduct from Miracle's bill. Lost use of the tub for another 4 days (over a weekend) and then had to nag them about getting it done. The finish itself looks very good and I hope lasts. All of the other stuff, that when it goes smoothly makes dealing with a company and paying a rather high price worth it, was not.

The technician arrived at the scheduled time. He was polite and professional. My shower stall has a smooth finish and looks just the way I had hoped it would. The tech gave me detailed instructions as to how to care for the new surface (no bleach, abrasives, etc.), as well as the length of time until the surface had cured and was ready for use. The process created some clouds of spray that coated some surfaces in the bathroom. I hope to get the tub/shower in another bath refinished as well. When I do I will cover the room with drop cloths so that overspray will not affect any other surfaces. Overall, I am pleased with Miracle Method and the results of their work.

Once we finally were contacted by new franchisee the work was very quickly scheduled and completed. We were trying to get some work accomplished during their transition period so there was a delay in anyone contacting us to perform the work. EXCELLENT quality job. Deral was very meticulous with his work. I love the way my bathtub looks now. Very pleased and satisfied with the work. I called before we had the bathrooms restored and asked the specific question if Miracle Method should be done prior to the renovation or after the renovation was completed. I was told AFTER. When Steve (new franchisee) came out the first thing he said was the Miracle Method should have been prior to the renovation. My advice to future users of Miracle Method....Wait for the person in charge of doing the work to come and inspect before beginning any of the work so the processes will be done in the proper order.
