I hired Marine Plumbing Service to replace my kitchen faucet with one I purchased elsewhere and also to replace my home's water pressure regulator. The existing kitchen faucet was shot after 8 years because it loosened under the granite counter and rusted the hardware underneath. That made it wobble mercilessly and allowed water to seep down into the cabinet beneath. I don't have the tools for such a tight space to get at - much less remove - they faucet. Thus my call to a professional. They were able do that removal, install the new (touchless) faucet, and maneuver the battery pack to a spot inside the cabinet to allow easy access for battery replacement. The faucet is installed securely and works as advertised. Additionally, my 9-year-old water pressure regulator was malfunctioning. The problem became apparent when experiencing intermittent high pressure of water at our faucets and toilets. (Sometimes the water pressure was too powerful, other times normal.) Nick Marine made some recommended changes on the placement of the new pressure regulator, having it installed horizontally on a ceiling pipe rather than vertically on the wall pipe where the original had been. He believes that configuration will make it last many years longer. I really won't know how long this one will actually last until 12 or 15 years from now. He set the pressure at 63 psi. So I'm hopeful I now have a long-term solution. While replacing the pressure regulator, they also installed (with my agreement) a new, better quality incoming water on/off value on the piping coming into the house from the street. And Nick offered a few recommendations concerning my water heater to make it safer, actually doing one of the changes without any additional charge to me. His knowledge of residential plumbing standards and quality of workmanship are impressive. His work is not inexpensive, but likely to well outlive that of many other plumbers.

Tony Little put down his lunch and came immediately after we agreed to a price of $375 before coupon. He fixed the pipe and offered welcome and knowledgeable information. What amazed me and makes certain I will call Marine again, is Tony called a few days later to check on us and he told me he had added a water shut off valve that I can now reach! Thank you Tony for your work and your kindness.

They never called me back. Disappointed in their lack of response. After an A rating on Angie's List I expected better than this.

Tony was fantastic! Responded immediately to my email and scheduled appt quickly, arrived promptly and discussed my issues professionally. He completed the work and even went above to brace the old pipe to the wall which had previously been hanging a bit loose. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely hire again!

I have used this company before and every time they amaze me with the quality of work they perform. I work in the service field as a licensed electrician and these guys always exceed my expectations. It is very hard to find a company and its employees that take pride in their work. Marine Plumbing is a company that I feel is very well trained and experienced to handle all your plumbing needs. They did an amazing job for me in my home and I know I will have no problems for a very long time.

Very well. They installed a new hot water heater and replaced the original poorly installed plumbing that had caused it to fail prematurely. Also corrected faulty plumbing in other areas of our house.

It was an emergency call as I discovered my garage was flooded due to water pouring out of my hot water heater. I phoned Marine Plumbing Service and Nick Marine immediately talked me through how to cut off the water to the tank. Then he asked for specific data on the existing tank telling me where to find the info. Within an hour Tony arrived followed shortly by Nick with a new water tank. They worked together replacing the old tank, the ruined expansion tank, and the faulty pressure regulating valve. There was no existing gas supply shut-off valve, so they added that as well. They also did some rearranging in the close-fitting utilities closet for better access to both the water heater and the hvac system which called for some re-piping. I had called my son (a mechanical engineer) to drop by during lunch to help me determine water damage in my garage where I had a lot of stuff stored in cardboard boxes. While here he asked the plumbers a lot of questions and inspected their work giving them an A+ rating. Both Nick and Tony went out of their way to be professionally accommodating and helpful. They were very thorough in their explanations and in their invoice. They certainly left the utility closet looking and functioning a lot better than they found it, and I was much appreciative to have the problem fixed so well and in such a timely manner.

It was a pretty simple job. They were very courteous, explained things thoroughly, and were meticulous in avoiding damage of any kind in our home. I got the impression that these were serious, engaged professionals and would happily work with them again.

Marine Plumbing provided excellent service. I originally hired them to install a hot water heater, then I called them back to do repair work and renovations to 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. It's easy to tell how knowledgeable they are, and they have integrity. I live in a condo that has some plumbing limitations, and they proficiently handled any potential setbacks. Their service was well worth the investment I made. I would refer them to anyone and call them back in a heart-beat.

I had a very old gas hot water heater replaced. Tony was extremely knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and provided me with all of the information that I needed about replacing a hot water heater when I initially called. I decided to use Marine Plumbing Service. Tony arrived right on time and Mike joined him shortly after. They removed the old water heater and installed the new one. They were very thorough and committed to high-quality work. After the installation was complete, they walked me through all of features of the water heater. I was pleased with the service and would use Marine Plumbing Service for any future plumbing needs.

A couple of months ago, one of our outdoor water valve/spigots broke, and shortly thereafter, the indoor shut-off valve to that spigot also broke. I was putting off calling a plumber because I had had a bad experience with my last plumber (slow and overpriced), and did not relish the thought of researching all the ones in the phone book. I finally decided to join Angie's List to find a plumber that was reasonable, professional, and did good quality work. After choosing my top three to call, I made the decision to use Marine Plumbing, as it was nearby and Nick Marine was a Navy veteran (like my husband), plus I read the article about some charitable work that Nick had done, so I knew he was a responsible and trustworthy person. When I called them, I was surprised that Nick actually answered the phone. I told him what we needed to have done, and he quickly gave me an estimate and suggested that if we wanted to save some money on the estimate, we should go to the store and buy the spigot/valves ourselves. My husband decided to go ahead and get two sets and have him replace our other outdoor spigot and indoor shut-off valve as well. Nick and his apprentice arrived right on schedule, and after Nick and my husband shared Navy experiences, Nick confirmed what we had discussed on the phone, and we said we wanted to add the other valves as well. The price he quoted for both sets of valves was only slightly higher than the quote for the just the original valves, so we asked him to do both. He also suggested that we replace the pressure regulator, as it was outdated (our home is over 30 years old). We discussed this and decided it was probably a good idea to get the house up to code. The price was reasonable, so we agreed to that as well. So they went ahead and replaced the pressure regulator, spigots, and shut-off valves, even lowering one of the shut-off valves because it was difficult for me to reach. When Nick and his apprentice were done, they were meticulous in their cleanup, and there was no evidence they had been there other than the new valves and some new insulation. I was very happy with the quality of their work, their professionalism, and the ?bottom line?. Next time I need a plumber, I will be calling them again! Needless to say, I hope to find more responsible companies like this through Angie's List!

Nick Marine and Tony are by far the best plumbers I've ever used. I have used them multiple times for various problems and projects and I will continue to call them for all of my plumbing and gas line needs. Nick is professional, friendly, punctual, competent, and just plain nice.

Excellent! I can not imagine a more professional, experienced and nice group of plumbers. They did everything they said they would do in the time they said. I believe they charged me less and did an amazing job. I am very pleased and thankful for their service.

can't say enough good things about Tony & Mike. They showed up on time, were personable and professional, and even cleaned up despite having a day that was much longer than they initially expected. Tony made sure we understood everything he was doing, and obviously took great pride in doing good work and in doing the right work. The final price was exactly the same as the initial estimate, even with several unexpected issues with previous work that could justifiably have raised the price. When the water heater was replaced, they replaced enough additional piping that a water leak which we hadn't included in the price was also fixed (other plumbers had previously quoted 100s of dollars to fix the leak alone). Tony also spent several minutes free of charge discussing the pros and cons of adding a bathroom to our basement, and his experienced advice was much appreciated.

.Called for a second visit in January. Still had leaks from shower head, They were to order new parts,never arrived. Plumber replaced washers. Handles now hard to turn, but no leaks. Why did they not do that on the first visit?/? Never heard from them on the parts, and since there was no additional charge, I just lt it go. If I need a plumber again again, I will call someone else.

The plumber showed up right on time and was very personable. He was upfront about what the options and cost would be to fix the problems we had. He came in under cost, and everything was done neatly and effectively. That's everything I hope for in a plumber! I'll call them again first off if we have any other plumbing needs.

Marine plumbing was quick to respond to my request for an estimate. They worked with my schedule and performed the job to my expectations.

What I liked most was that Tony discussed my options, the cost and then gave me several choices as how to proceed. I found that taking his advice was the best solution for me. Tony replaced outdoor spigots, pressure value from the main water source and cleaned up and left with virtually no sign of the disruption.Thank you. Very respectful and courteous during the entire process. Arrived when promised and wasted no time in tackling the job at hand. Very polite.

I cannot say enough good about Tony who came and helped me with a simple problem - although at first we were told it was a $500 problem. We had a new washing machine delivered to day by Best Buy - the delivery guys said the hose would not fit into our plumbing "box." I called Marine Plumbing based on Angie's List reviews and spoke to Tony directly. He came right over and plugged in the machine easily. I knew he was going to be knowledgeable and helpful based on the phone conversation and, of course, he was. I hope you will use him if you need help with any plumbing issues. I am very grateful for his services today.

Tony gave me the option of a rebuilt or new installation. Price of the rebuilt was $175.00. I decided to upgrade. It was great having an option. Great experience. He even removed his shoes.

Very well. Estimate was the final price, and they showed us how to maintain, etc. Done relatively quickly as old hot water heater had failed, and they understood our need to have it done.

We requested that Marine Plumbing come to my mother's house to fix a leaky outdoor faucet. Tony was extremely kind and patient, easily fixed the leak and did not charge for the service. He also checked the plumbing throughout her house in an effort to find the main shutoff valve which we had been unable to find; unfortunately it appears her house is unusual in that it does not have a shutoff valve at the house, but at least we know that for sure now. Although we did not have extensive work done on this first visit, Tony was very professional and we wouldn't hesitate to call them again when we need a plumber.

My experience with them was excellent. I liked their professionalism, quick response, and the overall work.
