I took a Honda Harmony 215 self propelled mower to Marietta Mower because the self propelled was not working any more. This is an old mower, but still runs like new so it is worth repairing. I suspected it needed a new transmission. Over the phone thay had said they did repair Honda's and it would be about $65 in labor plus parts - reasonable. I had already removed the transmission and taken it apart to see if I could fix it myself but was unable to. However I did have some ideas of what could be the problem. I asked if I could speak to someone about what I had seen and learned and the man at the front desk told me NO! I asked if I could I tell him (front desk guy - I think the owner) what I had seen so he could note it on the ticket and he said NO! He seemed agitated with me. I was quite surprised so I said "I am not trying to be a jerk, but do you want the business", and after a slight pause he said, rudely, NO I don't want your business, and he walked off ?!?!?!? So I left. I am not quite sure how this place stays in business treating prospective customers this way, but I would definitely not recommend them. Find a certified Honda repair place instead.
Description of Work: As it turns out Marietta Mower did not do anything. They declined the business for no good reason - see below.

Our experience is that persons wanting to advise/dictate to our professional technicians will never be satisfied so we simply refuse to accept their item for repair. Transmissions are replaced whole and not internally repaired.
