However, I thought their price quotes for simple repairs - replace an improperly installed P-trap on a bathroom sink ($250) and replace four pairs of bathroom sink supply lines (over $300) were a bit outrageous. Maybe I am wrong, and these rates are reasonable. I will let the Angie's List community decide...

I think they were overpriced. They were nice but charging me $250 was above the line.

The cost was more than I expected and from hearing from other people it sounds like I might have paid a premium. That would have been okay had it not been for the fact my hot water heater had not been turned back on so all of our showers the following day were freezing and it took a minute for us to figure out why... !

Very well performed work and professional

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it worked out great. They were great. They came out twice. I had them do other things as well.

I received lots of valuable information and this visit cleared up the problem I had with the tub and helped me make decisions about further fixture replacement and septic servicing on the house.

He checked everything concerning and gave great advice. We are pleased!!! Update: An exterminator came out and easily found a leak in the pipe that was missed by Majestic in our crawl space. We are extremely angry and unsatisfied. My water bills are $1000 a month because of the leak and that is completely unreasonable. My crawl space is a stand up crawl space there is no reason this should have been missed.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. All in all the things done were adequate. Replacing the pipe has been fine, but they did some other things to be helpful and those were not that great, however I appreciate that. The original job was done well. Replacing the pipe took some work, as it was a heavy piece of pipe. They were very helpful. The work that was requested to be done was well done. It was hard work and they did it. I do not have any problems with them, they were good, they were nice, they were helpful and they were plumbers second generation. They did not charge me anything other than the actual big deal purchase. Their price was fine. From previous experiences with other plumbers, they were very fair.

Vendor, was prompt in contacting us to schedule an appt. Plumber came out and conducted inspection and gave tips. When it came to the flushing of the water tank, Tech indicated that according to date on tank label, tank was to old to flush. I was quiet surprised and disappointed, because I know that we had just purchased the tank lest than two years ago. Thinking something was totally incorrect, I contacted the manufacturer for details on the age of the tank. The manufacturer informed me how to read the serial number label on the tank. After giving her that information, she informed me that the tank was 2010; and that the plumber apparently didn't understand out to read the label and suggested that I not use such an inexperienced plumber in the future. I contacted the vendor to let them know the age of the tank. They rescheduled the Tech, who returned a few days later, he flushed the tank, but left without cleaning up his mess (such as disconnecting the hose), or turning the tank back on to hot water. Overall we were quite surprised and disappointed by his lack of knowledge (how to read label) or disconnect a hose. We would most likely use this vendor again. But might ask for a different Plumber.

The technician was very good. He fixed the problem immediately and made suggestions for future repairs.

Service techs showed up on time, went to work right away, and addressed all of my concerns. They dug up rusted gas line deep into ground to the point that the gas line was wrapped in tar paper to protect from moisture/rust. They showed me this as I was uncertain about condition of the rest of the pipe.

The first time I called Majestic, I was in a panic because water suddenly started pouring from my dining room ceiling. They came out promptly, and the technician found the problem (a leaky toilet part) and replaced the bad part. Pretty straightforward. My next call to them was because I noticed water staining on the ceiling in another room. The technician who came out took a look, and indicated that he would have to cut a hole in the ceiling to identify the source; he made sure I was okay with this and that I understood that he would not replace the drywall--that would be a separate repair I would have to take care of. He also had to cut a hole in an upstairs wall to access the leaking pipe once it was found. In both instances, he did what he could to minimize mess. He also tested our water pressure and found that it was way, way too high. In addition to repairing the leak itself, he replaced our pressure valve so that we can hopefully avoid more of the same issue in the future. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. I would use Majestic again in the future, though I hope I don't have any more plumbing emergencies!

The A ratings on Angie's List are well deserved. Their communication and customer service are beyond great. Their dispatchers always answer and coordinate every detail flawlessly. The concierge attitude is worth it apart from the expert plumbing services they performed. They came out on time to check for source of our high water bill. Charles suspected a old toilet but had an outside leak detector come out later to check underground line outside the house Leak specialist found the leak was coming from inside our house, thus no outside digging required to our great relief. Like Charles before him the leak specialist suspected the old toilet inside. No charge yet until they gave us a quote and we decided what we wanted them to do. They give us estimates based on whether they supplied the new toilet or we bought it on our own.. We found a low flow toilet on sale at Home Depot. Called Majestic for quote. They honored Angie's List special and offered to pick up the new toilet on way to our house, if we pre-paid for it at HD. We bought it, had local HD hold it for Majestic in Will Call. Todd of Majestic came out this time, picked it up and installed it flawlessly. He also checked our house's water pressure to see if that was accelerating the leak. It wasn't, water pressure was perfect. He also checked our spa, put us in contact with a guy who might be able to get a missing spa part for us. Todd also checked an old faucet, gave us a reasonable quote, if we wanted that replaced. No extra charges for pick up at HD because it was on their way to our house, nor for leak detector expert when leak was found to be inside our house (old toilet) not outside. Cost was very reasonable, $325 for installation of toilet we bought on own (their price for same model was $17 higher). Angie's List $70 special reduced our total bill to $250. That involved solving our leak mystery cost effectively, and separate visits by Charles initially, leak expert to isolate cause, and Todd for the fine install.

It went very well. He showed up a couple of hours late, but he showed up, which has not been the rule with plumbers in our experience. And though he was late, Majestic Plumbing kept in contact with us to assure us that we were still on the list. But, once he got there, things went quickly, our problem is fixed and because of his help and information, we shouldn't need to call him for the same problem again. If we have another problem, though, we will certainly be calling this plumber.

It went great. I made an appointment. They showed up on time, looked at the issue, told me what was wrong with my shower and sink and made a follow up appointment. The follow up appointment went great too. They showed up on time, did all the repair work and even recommended a service to me that would retile my shower. The service they recommended to me to retile my shower also did a great job.

I am happy with the quality of the repair. The price is on the expensive side.

Quick appointment, arrived on time. His quote was for an industry standard price. He recommended that I return the faucet I had purchased and get a name brand due to the warranty, so I did run to Home Depot while he was removing the old faucet and get the name brand. So he charged $250 for this job. Everything seemed fine, but after he left I had a large amount of water under my sink and in the floor. After cleaning this up several times, I finally figured out that the leak was happening when the dishwasher ran. Looked at the drain and there was a noticeable hole in the drain from my dishwasher. I called them and they came back free of charge and repaired my dishwasher drain. The drain on my dishwasher was installed by Best Buy, and it didn't look like very good quality, but it was still a good bit of work for me to diagnose this issue and multiple cleanups. The plumber did seem very professional, so I'm sure this was an accident, and he did have a hard time removing the current faucet.I would have given an A for this visit, if I had not had the issue with the leak, still it was good that they repaired my issue for free.

The plumber arrived early. He itemized the cost and discussed the procedures. He worked quickly and was courteous. I was very pleased with his service.

Call Majestic on Wednesday and made arrangements for the plumber to come on Saturday. He arrived on time and proceeded the roots out of the pipe. He did not have a camera so he was unable to look inside the pipe but he said he would come back in two days to do a camera inspection of the pipe. He came back that Monday with the camera so we were able to see the trouble spots in the pipe he also marked the ground. He told us that the pipe needed to be replaced and the cost $$$$, but he gave use a suggestion about what to do in meantime to keep the line clear. There was no pressure to use them to have a new sewer lline run. Overall I was very happy with the service from Majestic and would use them again.

Thorsten showed up on time. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. He made some very helpful suggestions to make the job simpler (less expensive) than I had envisioned, and also to make the end result have a much nicer appearance. After giving a price estimate which I agreed to accept he went to Home Depot for supplies and returned promptly. He was very friendly and took the time required to do the job right. The end result was excellent and I am very pleased. I would definitely use this company again and will be sure to ask for Thorsten.

These guys did EVERYTHING. From repairing faucets to refreshing shower heads, improving water pressure, getting hot water heater up to code, etc, etc, you name it, they did it. Not to mention, they did it well! Thanks for EVERYTHING

the drain in the tub was broken which we could not remove, hired Majestic Plumbing on a deal promotion. They were able to schedule us quickly and made the fix as expected. Price was a little higher than expected but with the promotion, all was good

It went fine. Nothing went wrong and nothing went right. I think they are expensive but the deal helped out in reducing the price. They came out and completed the service and then they left. I didn’t have any issues with them.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and I think it was fine. I wanted him to do a little more thorough job of finding certain things. I think he was okay, but it was not great. He left a whole bunch of work that he felt I needed to get done and it was very costly so I didn't really think that I would be going with them again. I got the work done soon after I purchased the Big Deal.
