Majestic Plumbing & Electric

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out well. They did a good job, complete and easy. My water heater was supposed to be flushed, but they weren't able to do that. The final price was slightly higher than the cost of the Big Deal. I thought they were a little pricey, but it was fine. They were very quick and were right on time.

All happened as planned. No suprises

My experience was pretty good overall. The plumber was very nice and professional. He came out for an estimate and will be back next week to install toilets and repair faucets.

Excellent. Arrived on time, explained what they were going to do, and then explained what they had done. Per my request, provided me with an estimate for both a new water heater, and a tankless water heater (for my future consideration).

I ended up spending more than I expected, but they were fine and the pricing was fair.

The company responded quickly and we had someone at our houses the same day. He fixed a clogged toilet and went above and beyond by offering suggestions in order to keep things flowing in the future.

The Majestic Plumbing service was great. We used them two times (8/17/12) and (6/11/13). They did wonderful service and took the time to discuss what the problems were, what they were doing to correct them and what are some of the things that we could do ourselves to solve some problems. We would certainly call them again if we need any plumbing service.

I had told him I turned the water on under the sink and a towel filled with water. I assumed we had a busted pipe so when he came out and Justin let me know it was not a busted pipe, but a valve that had come loose under my sink. He did not charge me a dime.

O.K. not much value to me!!! did not tellme anything I didn't already know.

Ironically a corroded pipe broke while the plumber was there and it took us a long time to shut the water off because the shutoff had been paved over by brick pavers by a prior homeowner and I didn't know exactly where it was. I'm still working out insurance issues and have yet to move forward with repair or bringing the system up to code. This incident was no reflection on Majestic.

Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Todd was amazing. Installed everything efficiently. Had a bit of a hiccup which made things take longer and Todd stayed until it was finished. He was going on vacation the next day and wanted to make sure our job was complete and working perfectly. Will always use them in the future.

I like them very much because of the quality of their work and their honesty. It was a major plumbing project. They dig underground, went to the foundation, and lots of things.

I can't praise Majestic enough! I'd had zero sewer service starting with the first bad cold snap in January. Two other plumbers and The City of Atlanta were unable to determine exactly where and what the problem was. Those first two plumbers were unresponsive and allowed the problem to escalate to a sewer back-up that resulted in cracked tile and warped hardwoods. They all just threw in the towel and mistakenly told me I needed a brand new sewer line. Majestic plumber Todd Barth and his apprentice Alan worked tirelessly to flush out the existing sewer lines. They used state-of-the-art equipment including electronic sensors, snaking cameras and high-power water jets to diagnose and free up the pipes. They repaired a single break in the sewer pipe and managed to salvage the entire line, saving me thousands. But it was their tenacity and determination, combined with Mr. Barth's years of experience, that ultimately won the day. Both he and Alan were knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with during an otherwise harrowing experience. They also put in a new water main that restored my pressure to optimal levels - something I've never previously enjoyed while living in the house. If that's not enough, Majestic originally quoted me a higher price, because I told them I wanted to replace the sewer line as well as install a new water main. Instead of taking all my money, they worked very hard to achieve a much more elegant, non-invasive solution at less than HALF their original estimate. Truly Majestic indeed!

They came out and and did an inspection. They were thorough and knowledgeable. In fact, they ended up the service and made sure that the valve was unlocked. I thought they did a pretty good job. That particular call was about a leakage underneath the sink and the technician came in and they were able to pin point exactly what it was. I think they were able to also recommend what needed to be done to actually fix it and recommended the solutions that I thought was direct to the point. I am pretty happy with it as well. They came the next day I called them.

One of my best experiences with a service provider EVER. Called with a problem, they sent someone right away, realized that the problem was "human error", fixed the problem and DID NOT CHARGE US. Yes, you read that properly, THEY DID NOT CHARGE US A PENNY. How wonderful is that . .. that they would realize that we made a stupid mistake and then choose to help us rather than take advantage of the situation?! It was like having your neighbor walk over to your house and say "uh, you didn't turn the thing on, let me help you with that". Majestic earned our business and we will be certain to use them for all our future plumbing needs. !

THe recent freeze/thaw cycles caused a leak into our foundation and basement. Bill and crew did everything they said they would do, and in the 6 hours they had estimated at the outset. did not need to use Ditch Witch, didn't cut cable etc. Cleaned up after themselves, tested new setup for leaks, and fixed minor one they found. Excellent attention to details.

I purchased a Big Deal $75 for plumbing. I needed my garbage disposal replaced and when the technician came out they do not fix garbage disposals. He was very nice, I just could not use them for the specific service that I needed.

My 1925 bungalow has one bathroom and the toilet stopped working on a Sunday evening. When the pipes were bursting all over Atlanta back in January Majestic was the only company I called that would put me on its list and then called me back to see if I had received service. Consequently, when I found myself without a working toilet I called Majestic. They answered the phone, took my information and within a short time Phil was at my door. When he left a short time later I had a working toilet again and a clear understanding of the bill and an estimate for a new toilet.

Nice discount however their full price list is very expensive resulting in very little savings versus just finding lower price plumbers in the area.

We had some evidence of water damage on a ceiling under our laundry room. I was concerned that something from the laundry room was leaking. The Plumber felt it was an old water stain and not an ongoing issue. The only way for him to properly diagnose it would be to cut into the ceiling drywall. I decided to take a wait and see with the ceiling. At the same time, we had a toilet that was leaking water. He found that the supply line was leaking. To remove and replace the supply line cost me $244.75. This seemed very expensive to me for what looks like a small hose. In hindsight I probably should have gotten a second quote.

Service person was very knowledgeable, and knew exactly what was needed. Repair was performed and then our overall house water pressure was adjusted (which I was not even aware was needed). Everything is working much better than before, and we were simply intending to fix the outdoor faucet.

They were very knowledgeable and did a great job.

It was fast and straight forward. I had already cut off the main water line to the house. The plumber cut into the dry wall of the suspected area to expose the pipe and located the damaged PVC pipe. He removed the broken portion and proceeded to attach a new piece of PVC to it. After repairing the obviously damaged piece of the pipe, and allowing it time to dry/seal up, the plumber turned my main water back on to see if there were anymore leaks, and after a few minutes, he detected another small leak, so he cut off the main water line and located the leak, and cut out a bit further into the drywall and was able to take another damaged piece of the PVC pipe and repaired it. After repairing the second piece of the pipe, and allowing it time to dry/seal up, the plumber turned my main water line back on to see if there were any more leaks, and there was nothing else left. Job completed successfully, and all within a 90 minute time period.

Majestic Plumbing were wonderful. They reassured us that something that we thought was wrong was fine and they were great. They deducted the $75 from the charge on what they did. I will definitely use them in the future.

They were okay. I didn’t feel the plumber they sent out was knowledgeable or trustworthy. He was here for about hour. I didn’t like the style in which he suggested things to me. He was was trying to fast talk me and he was not serious about what he was here to do. He told I have some kind of leak on the outside. After the technician left, I followed up with the company and they reiterated things to me.
