Majestic Plumbing & Electric

First of all, scheduling was a snap and they were very flexible in accomodating my work schedule. The service technician (Hicks) was wonderful. He explained what was going on and gave me options. He was courteous and prompt. I had the PRV repaired a year and few months ago and apparently the person did not install it correctly. Mr. Hicks replaced the failing piece and immediately I noticed a change in my water pressure. I highly recommend this company.

Found an issue but I had to deal with manufacturer. One part caused the other part to go bad and it took quite a while to get hot water and the gas valve that ended up leaking fixed. They were courteous but I think a few trips could have been avoided and also the time without hot water. The cost I think was a little high.

Badly. Replaced a small section of cast iron drain leading from kitchen to sewer. Replaced water line leading to dishwasher. I was charged over $600. Won't be using them again.

The ring that affixes the toilet to the floor in our guest bath corroded, which caused the toilet to come lose from the floor. We called Majestic to come fix the toilet. I cannot say enough about the plumber?s professionalism. However, the price that majestic charged was very overpriced (they charge by item and do not use an hourly rate). Unfortunately, we needed a quick fix and agreed to pay the price. Despite paying more than we should, the repair was not completed correctly the first time. As a result, we had to call Majestic again to come fix the issue.

I had excessive water usage on my bill over the last few months. He found no leaks and told me about some minor repairs that could be done. He was on time and professional and explained everything to me.

The person they sent ran a snake to try an clear the clog. He then ran a camera to try and see the issue. He was unsuccessful and said that my plumbing was installed wrong and would need to be replaced. He also said he was certain this was the problem and themn provided a quote of $10k to fix. Mind you my home was recently renovated prior to me moving in so the plumbing was all new. I called another plumber to get a second opinion. They worked feverishly to get the camera down the main line and determined tree roots had caused my pipes to collapse. So basically I paid Majestic $750 to do nothing and give me a complete bogus fix. So glad I called someone else.

The electricity went out in a section of my home. I called Majestic Electric, and they were able to send someone out the same day. As soon as Randy came to the door he was very polite. He took his time to listen to what our issues were and began to address them right away. He checked the breakers and then began a search behind each non functioning receptacle. During this time he continued to inform us of what he was doing and made great conversation as well. He quickly found a junction box that contained burned wires, fixed the issue and restored the power. The job took about an hour an a half and thanks to an Angie's List coupon, we were able to save $50 being first time customers. All is well in the Jones household and we have Randy and Majestic Electric to thank for that, I would recommend this company to family and friends in a heartbeat.

There are a zillion plumbers and electricians in metro Atlanta, so I would never use someone who makes me sit around for hours from work and has absolutely NO respect for my time.

The plumber arrived on time. Was very professional and took care of two of my needs. However, the labor cost was too high for my budget. Due to the cost I was unable to get the third item that needed repair done which was repairing jacuzzi tub. I am still in need of a plumber because I enjoy tub bathes but I also need a reasonably priced company to perform the job. Thank You Majestic but we cannot afford your cost.

Thorough but honest - did not try to find things that didn't really need to be fixed. Fast and on time.

It went well. They were very knowledgeable and even helped explain which types of things we could fix on our own.

They took my call after scheduling on the web, they agreed to come out on Wednesday. On Wednesday they call and ask if it's OK to move to Thursday because they're running behind because of the holiday so I said OK. On Thursday I unfortunately had a conflict and called to schedule and they said Friday before 2-5. 4:30 no one called, so I called to ask what was going on, and the lady - who was polite, said she didn't schedule it and saw it for Saturday. She transferred me to John who said in his notes it said Saturday. I pointed out that it was wrong and that I wasted half a day at home and he didn't really seem to care much, or offer anything to try to get someone to come out. So I canceled and refused to work with them. Perhaps their service is good, I'll never know, but their scheduling and customer service is simply poor. If you can't own up to your scheduling error, I doubt you'd own up to your work.

We noticed a flange leak at the toilet after we replaced a wax ring. We also wanted to gain some room in the kitchen by removing a water heater from inside and put a tank-less water heater outside. Eric of Majestic Plumbing came out to give an estimate to do the work. After finding a few problems, some of which I was unaware of, we decided to replace all of the waste water and fresh water lines in our almost 60 year old house. Eric brought a helper with him and they got started on a Monday. They were off on Tuesday (which I was told before they begin). Wednesday got all the fresh water lines replaced and at about 4:30 they went to turn our water back on. The old galvanized service line to the street had sprung a leak despite being handled gently when tied into. Eric called his office and somehow they were able to get the utilities located within the hour. About an hour later he had a trenching crew on site to open and place a new supply line to the city meter. After an already long day they stayed and were able to get our water back on before they called it a day. I really thought that we would be out overnight or longer to get the locates done and a trench open. On Thursday Majestic finished the rest of the job. All the water and waste lines had to be run in a low crawl space under the house. Everything that was done was explained thoroughly and shown to me. The Majestic Plumbing office kept me informed of when Eric would arrive, even when he was getting supplies and such. The lines under the house look neat and are well supported. I would also like to mention that I noticed that Eric would show his apprentice how things went and why, freely sharing a wealth of knowledge. I learned quite a lot just through osmosis. I am very impressed with the quality of the work, the customer service and the professionalism of Eric and the other workers that helped him. The price seems very fair to me considering how much work was done, how quickly unexpected problems were handled and how little we were disturbed because of the quick work. I would recommend Majestic Plumbing to anybody needing a professional job done.

The service went poorly. I felt like the deal was a bait and switch. I never used the deal because they would not quote a garbage disposal replacement over the phone. They insisted on sending out their staff to take a look. I felt like the person I spoke with was very confident in their pricing structure and I was nothing more than a phone call. I would never use this company.

I used Majestic when I had a leak in my home that I just purchased. I scheduled a visit for the following day because it wasn?t an emergency, but the day I scheduled for was marred by heavy flooding all over the city. The dispatcher called me well in advance to request a reschedule because otherwise the plumber would have been late due to the large number of emergency calls they were getting. I rescheduled and the next day the plumber came out and detected the leaks and causes quickly as well as showed me how to easily fix some other minor issues he noticed. He not only fixed the problems, but showed me how to maintain and repair some other problems I was having. I learned a lot using them and will always using and recommending them in the future.

Very well, their costs were good and the person they sent out was very professional.

Great tech and pretty knowledgeable, personable and professional. Prices a little high for simple garbage disposal replacement.

They were very good. They did very well. I thought the price was pretty good. I have't had any problem since then.

Eric responded immediately, cut the hoses and put them in the washer box drain to avoid me having to deal with water all over the place. He also lifted the buckets of water and emptied them out for me. For all you single women and seniors like me....this company is VERY trustworthy and all of their staff are friendly and responsive. This is the second time I have used Majestic and the service is absolutely incredible!!!! . A couple of months ago I got 3 estimates to re-pipe my town home and selected Majestic because they have an impeccable reputation and I was fortunate enough to witness the justified ratings when they came out and fixed the first leak I had. Two for two wins!

After a couple frustrating weeks of waiting around on a part, I had contacted Majestic to let them know I wasn't impressed. The service manager promptly replied to me and admitted the ball had been dropped by their dept. We finally got the serviceman out this morning and it turned out we didn't even need that part anyways. The technician solved the issue (somehow small chunks of wood had blocked the water flow behind the shower faucet) and removed as much of the debris as he could. He also looked at a couple other new issues that had popped up since we first bought the $75 deal and made helpful suggestions. Regardless of the rocky beginning, I am still overall impressed with the service we received. The techs were always on time and courteous and I highly appreciate the professionalism from the service manager as well. We will be using them again to fix our next plumbing problem.

The service was poor. I was told the charge would be $400, but ultimately the charge was over a $1000. To fix the disposal, he just put a wrench into it to fix it.

I had called them first telling them what I needed, and when they came out they told me it was a flat rate of $300 for the job. I just wish they would have told me it was a flat rate over the phone.

Wonderful company that provided excellent service! We had an emergency plumbing leak tonight, and Otis at Majestic came to our rescue. We definitely recommend!

The next day, I called the company and complained about the mess, and that I was still having problems. All I wanted was some of my money refunded and I would start over. However, the owner called me back immediately and pleaded with me to let him come down and check the problem himself. He assured me he would take care of everything. This wonderful man was so convinced he could fix my problem, that he came to Peachtree City, GA from Marietta and that is quite a distance and sure enough, he arrived and immediately checked the problems; cleaned the mess on my walls, cabinet and toilet. He then began to check for the leak around my sink and found it wasn't a leak, but the pressure of our water was causing water to come out of the sprayer. To fix what he thought was the problem we needed to get to the cut off for our house so he could check the pressure. Well, we had no idea where the cut off was for the house, except at the street, but he insisted that there had to be another cutoff. Sure enough, he found that cut off and found that our water pressure was 110 psi coming into our house and it should have been between 40 and 60 psi. (Our city had been working on sewer problems in our area, and once they fixed it, after being without water for a day, and turned it back on, we got major water pressure for the first time since we have lived in our house. We are also the first house in the subdivision, so we got the worst of the pressure.) He was unable to fix it right then, but the next visit, his employees did a great job and got it all fixed just perfect. That's not all. The sprayer that was leaking also had a crack in it from us trying to tighten it down. This house has a lot of gold in it and the only sprayer he had was black and silver. He went to the Home Depot to try and find me a gold sprayer. Of course, they didn't have one, so he wrote down the type and model number and ordered me one from the mfg. It came to me and I was so surprised. I called him and he wouldn't take a penny for the sprayer. It made him happy just to have a pleased customer. I assured him that I would contact Angie's list since it was his coupon in the book that made me call him. I lucked out and found a friend and honest plumber.
