Description of Work: Initially, I had purchased a big deal for the Majestic Plumbing to come out and repair a leak. The serviceman from Majestic Plumbing came out to perform a mandatory $69.95 "diagnostic" estimate on my project. During this diagnostic he found no leak. The valve to the washing machine had loosened and only needed to be tightened. He graciously tightened the valve and estimated two other concerns. Unfortunately the estimates were too expensive and unrealistic for me. The diagnostic fee was paid by check separately from the big deal purchased through Angie's List.

Description of Work: I got an estimate from Majestic and told the repairman I would take off work the next Monday (a few days from then) so he could come back and make the repairs. On that Monday, I called to see what time they were coming. They told me I was not on their schedule. I was very upset to hear that. I called another plumber and he agreed to come out and make the repairs. Then, Majestic Plumbing called and said they would put me in place of one of their other scheduled appointments. I told them, "No," because the other plumber was on the way. This error by Majestic Plumbing caused me a lot of anxiety and lost time. I want my full refund back immediately.

Description of Work: NOTE: I purchased five coupons at 89 dollars each, thus the $445 total reflected above. I contacted the provider. Woman answering was helpful and courteous. Made appointment for two days later. Technician arrived at the agreed time. Technician examined toilets and indicated that they were very old and could not be serviced properly. I asked him to contact his supervisor regarding the problem; he did so and advised me I would have to contact Angie's List for a refund.

Description of Work: After getting new granite counter tops and sink, I called Majestic to re-connect the plumbing. The plumber arrived exactly on time. He said he would not be able to re-connect my garbage disposal without cutting into the cabinet and wall and dropping the drain line since the configuration was different than my old sink. The estimate was $800. He worked all day while I was at work and my boyfriend was home with him. He cut the holes but ultimately was unable to drop the drain line. He said the option was to connect up the sink without the garbage disposal, which is what we ended up doing. While doing this, he mistakenly cut the water line, which he repaired. When I got home there was a massive but not visible hole in my cabinet wall about 3 feet by 3 feet. The bill was reduced to about $650 since he could not drop the drain line. The next day, I noticed that all of the electrical outlets around the sink were not working - approximately 4. I called Majestic and they tried to trouble shoot with me over the phone, but were unable to get them working. I assumed that since the outlets were working the day before, that it was related to the plumbing work (cutting wall, cutting water line...). They sent out an electrician who arrived on time. He couldn't figure out what had happened but ultimately got it working and charged $160. I contested this - since they broke it, it seemed inappropriate for me to have to pay to get it fixed. I called the company to complain and the owner came the next day to inspect the work. He too was unhappy with the massive size of the hole cut in my cabinet wall and gave me a partial refund for that. He also realized that the plumber had overcharged me for the installation, and credited me about $150 for that. He too would not take responsibility for the broken electrical and would not refund me that. Ultimately my sink works great. I don't have a garbage disposal. I have a massive hole in the inside of my cabinet. My biggest complaint with Majestic was that they didn't own up to damaging the electrical, which they obviously did. They were punctual for all of the three visits it took to get this job done.

Description of Work: We (unfortunately for us - having toilet problems) have used Majestic about 4 times now and I was thrilled to see that they had a coupon. Every time we use them we get very good customer service, a good price and superior service. We just used them for our rental property where the toilet was clogged and had a nice gentleman take care of us. However when he left, he didn't clean the toilet. I was mortified because I had to clean it. I called the company and the GM, Joseph, got back to me ASAP and was sincere and apologetic and went above and beyond to make it right for us. I will not hesitate to call them over and over if and when we need their services again. You don't find many companies like this these days...

Description of Work: After examining the sink, Claude M., gave a two part repair course with the price for both. He wrote the both descriptions and prices on the invoice, so I knew what to expect. He started the job, and the second description was identified, the price was as he said, and the job was done. No hidden fees. Claude M. is very pleasant fast worker. Also communicating with Charlie at the office was quite a friendly experience. I would not hesitate to use their service in the future. Also, I bought a $75 for $155 service coupon. Description of Work: while i still spent a lot more money than planned, it wasnt due to their services. i just have expensive toilets that were in much need of repairing. the repairman spent much more time than he should have trying to make everything work properly and helped me out where he could on costs.

Description of Work: Our house is about 60 years ago and was in need of new sewer lines under the house and from the house to the street. Claude also replaced the main toilet drain and tub drain. Even though it was quite expensive, it was much less than estimates from two other major companies. The crew members were polite, businesslike, and as neat as could be for a job that required digging a wide ditch through your front yard. We will certainly recommend Majestic and will call on them in the future if needed.
