Description of Work: I am always sure I am going to get ripped off when I require service to anything at my home. As the only source of income for a family of 5, you can imagine things are very tight around my home. For more than a yea I had noticed a weird sound in the pipes and it seemed to me to be related to hot and cold, when the hot was turned on the pressure was low and the sound was more prevalent. Within the last 3 years I had gotten a new hot water tank install via a professional plumber so I did not believe that was the issue. | |Several folks had told me they had thought it was the Pressure regulator and I had heard it costs around 300.+ to have that replaced. I had saved up and finally had enough for this service. I then reached out to Angies list and got a coupon and choose Majestic. The tech showed up on time, calling and was vary courteous. He was well dressed, clean and spoke English. | |I advised him of the situation, and he was not 100% sure that this issue was the regulator. He spoke to his supervisor and they came up with several possibilities. At this point I was sure that I would not have enough funds to have this work completed. In additional, I figured I would have to pay for all the options to finally get this fixed. | |I advised the tech that I did not have unlimited funds, and asked him what he would choose at his home. He then recommended the order that he believed we should attempt the repair. The first option did not work. He then stated that he did not have the right pressure regulator on his truck but woudl be back on Tues. They did not ask for any money at this point for the work performed. | |The tech was back out on Tues and had done homework on his own time, regarding my problem. Reaching out to someone who works at the maker of my hot water heater and thought he had a possible solution. | |He found the problem, when the hot water heater was installed the pipe that carried the hot water had been heated to hot and must have melted a small plastic valve. He replaced the valve and tested everything. It worked. Also when he was tighting up the on/off valve on the intake it started to leak and he could not get it to stop. He also found that he did not have the proper o-ring, the builder of my home had used o-rings that were not the right size (go figure). The Tech went to a store and purchased many o-rings he thought woudl fit. He then replaced the o-ring and got the water to stop leaking. | |When I asked how much all of this was going to cost, he gave me a bill of less than 200.00. The amount of care and time that the technician had put into this repair plus his kindness and patience is beyond what I thought would happen. I will never use any other plumber other than Majestic and hope that they continue to handle clients with the same outstanding customer service that I received.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for $175 for Full Home Plumbing Inspection, Water Heater Flush And Repair Credit. It did go all that great. Their response time was immediate, but they were to make general repairs that would stop the running water in the bathroom toilet, but that did not happen.
