Majestic Plumbing & Electric

All went well except for a couple of things. The old ceiling fan was not removed from the premises, hence the B rating for quality. I had to disassemble myself and haul the old one away. The price quoted to do the job once on site was high. The quote given before work was started was $299. The job took just under 1 hour. I had purchased a special for $169 labor for $39. I had to add an additional $130 to cover the difference. Had I known that they were going to be so expensive, I would have had someone else do it for a more competitive and reasonable price. The bargain I thought I was getting was not the bargain I expected. The company did follow up asking for my thoughts and I expressed these same sentiments to them of what could be different or better.

They did a good job but very pricey

I received 2 estimates prior to the work and saw this "deal" ($39 for $169 Credit Toward Electrical Services) at Angie's List and decided to purchase as the pricing was similar to the estimates I had received. Majestic called and said they were available to come a day early and asked if I was interested/available in rescheduling so I was thrilled with the earlier appointment! Jimmy and Jessie arrived as promised, very personable and professional, and assessed the work to be done and went out to the truck to price the job. I was shocked when they came back with the pricing to be the same as the estimates I had received from other providers. I authorized the work as they were already here and the price was fairly competitive (without the "deal" pricing). In less than 20 minutes the work was done. I already had the ladder available to them as I'm painting and doing other projects in the kitchen, so there wasn't any lugging of equipment. So I paid $39 for the deal plus an additional $151 plus the "deal credit" for services of $169 for a total of $359. The estimates I received from other Angie's List providers (no deals involved) were $150 and $165. So my real dollar cost was $190. More expensive than the estimates and essentially the deal was a bait and switch. Very disappointing, but I'm happy with the lights.

They did a really good job, just expensive. They did a wonderful job, took responsibility and took care of my problem. I would highly recommend them. They made a mistake and did take care of the error on their own expensive. I think that speaks volumes about a company. I thought they were expensive, the electrical side in particular. It took a couple of hours, not long. One person came out.

Outrageous quote. This is simply theft by another name. They wouldn't provide an estimate in advance. Until I paid the 40 bucks for the little coupon.

I though the job was a little over priced, but after watching the professional installation and attention to detail IT was worth it.

It didn't go! Majestic Plumbing & Electric provided me an estimate of $489 each to install 2 ceiling fans...totaling $978 (=) and additional charge of $398 to repair a blinking light....this is highway robbery.. Their total cost estimate was $1376 for what would have been approximately 2.5 hours of work. Majestic Plumbing & Electric use Angie's List to get in the door with the special prices and then attempt to rip you off with exuberant charges....I would never recommend Majestic Plumbing & Electric !!!!

Brian was on time (actually a little early) and replaced the outlet quickly and efficiently. No complaints and I would recommend them to others

John came and cleared a clogged drainpipe with his snake from the kitchen to one of the bathrooms and also fixed an old linking pipe.

Awesome! They were able to start work that afternoon and worked until it was finished. Hot water that night!!!

Office staff was great, but tech they sent out tried to drive cost up and would not listen to what work I needed for him to perform.

A man came out, said he would have to run a camera through it. I said it does not need a camera, just to be snaked and he did not have one. He gave me a price between $400 to $700, I can replace the PVC for this much. I declined.

The technician was professional, diagnosing the problem quickly and going for extra parts and a helper to make sure the job was completed that day. Very good service.

Could not have gone better. From the moment I called and spoke with Kayla on the phone to our visit by Allen, the experience was sincere, professional, and polite. The quoted amount up from was exactly what we paid and it seemed fair for the amount of work that had to be done. I do not think Majestic is the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. To me the best judge of service is how an issue that goes wrong is handled. In this case, about two hours after the technician left an issue arose with the water heater which left us still without hot water (which was not something he could reasonably have prevented when he was there initially), he came back out promptly and was very apologetic (but again, it was nothing he could have reasonably prevented anyway). He fixed the issue and the water heater has performed perfectly since. I would absolutely do business with them again and will recommend them to friends and family.

Spoke with a lady named Candice (sp?) who was very nice and professional on the phone. Ended up having Omar come buy to take a look at some of the issues we were having. He was prompt, called ahead and arrived exactly as planned on the phone with Candice. Great demeanor, immediately jumped into our issues and was honest and thorough in explaining the issues. Our issue didn't end up being with anything plumbing directly so we didn't pay for further services, but I'll definitely ask for him again if I have more plumbing needs.

Satisfied with their performance. Truthful and reliable. Customer Service was very friendly and went out of their way for customer satisfaction.

IT went well but a lot of the issue were covered under my home warranty so i went with them.

It was good. There was some item there and that was not enough, so I had to pay some extra. I paid $75 to Angie’s List and the other I paid to the person for some extra work, because I could not be covered by the home warranty. All day the work was fine except for one thing about fixing the whistling sound from one of the bottles. There was the one problem, otherwise it was okay. The technician was good, he was a really cooperative and understanding type. I would give an "A" for that fellow.
