Description of Work: Sent an email and was contacted with in an hour. Scheduled an appointment over the phone. JP replaced an existing toilet,(I supplied had the new one) repaired a leaky outside faucet, unclogged a slow drain, and most importantly, cleaned out the kitchen drain that was almost completely clogged after years of use. He was very knowledgeable and has a professional, yet friendly manner.

Description of Work: Shane came out and gave us an estimate-but we had already had the service performed by someone else earlier in the week. He was honest and told us that we needed to contact a septic tank company.He could have been dishonest and told us he could run a snake and clear the line to correct the problem. Instead, he was honest and very helpful and told us that the snake would only work as a band aide and then give way to pressure. We had just had someone to run a snake in the line two days ago and it had already given way to pressure. So I appreciated his honest efforts! Plus the estimate was free, so he saved us money twice. Description of Work: We'd been having random toilet flushings in two of our toilets for a couple of weeks. Nothing terrible, no flooding water, just annoying...and I knew it would be adding to the water bill. So I used Angie's List and found Majestic. They were the first ones I called, and since the initial call was pleasant and professional - and they could be there the next day - I didn't call elsewhere. Majestic arrived on time, and got right to work. He told me that the flappers in the toilets were old - which I suspected. But he also put a gauge on one of our faucets to check water pressure. What he discovered was that the pressure regulator for the entire house which down-converts street-pipe pressure to a lower PSI that won't burst household pipes was beginning to fail. That was part of the reason the toilets had kept filling and flushing slowly - they were overloaded with pressure. After checking with his shop, he gave me a price of $300 to replace the pressure regulator...and then said he'd throw in new flappers on all the toilets for free with that price. It took just over an hour for him to do all the work (which included shutting off the household water, obviously). Our regulator was behind a panel in the ceiling of our downstairs bathroom...over the bathtub, which he had to sort of straddle while he worked above his head. That can't have been the easiest one he's ever done, but there was no talk of raising the price or anything else.

We removed the heater when we moved in and capped the gas line but still had an unsightly few inches of pipe sticking up out of the floor. Description of Work: I lost hot water in my home. The water heater pilot light went out and I could not relight it. I scheduled an appointment and Gary Benton, Master Plumber, arrived on time. He checked the unit and listened to my description of the problem. Before Gary started any work, he referred to a flat rate schedule of repairs and offered me an estimate of three progressive steps to solutions: (1) Replace the thermocouple, and burner service, $226.72; (2) Replace the control valve, $435.15; and (3) Replace the water heater, $1031.40. Option (1) fixed my problem, and Gary checked the safety features of my water heater and home plumbing system before declaring his service call and repairs completed, with a 1-year warranty. The Angie's List coupon for $50 brought my cost down to my final expenditure.

Description of Work: I had 2 locations that needed service. 1 was a commercial location that the instant hot water heater died and the sink would not shut off. Majestic came out the next day right on time and worked on the hot water hearter for 15 minutes andthen got on the phone with the manufacture and fixed the proble NO CHARGE! They also fixed the sink by installing a new faucet. Very reasonalble and I loved their service. At my house they repaired an icemaker line and installed a whole toiilet rebuild. Their service was fast, reasonably priced and done very quickly. I also received a $50.00 discuount for being a Angie's list customer.
