About six months ago we discovered that a piece of the hose pipe had gotten stuck on the outside faucet and had broken off. We were not able to get it off and were not able to use any hose pipes with that faucet. Thursday we asked a friend to try to remove it, but he was not able to get it off either and suggested that we call a plumber. Around 2 PM Friday afternoon we discovered that the faucet was leaking. I decided that since I had to call a plumber and I would get them to check out my water filtration system also. Three months ago I had a neighbor replace the filter and it worked for about a week, but then suddenly quit. (I had been waiting until my cousin could check it out.) I checked Angie's List and decided to call Majestic Plumbing because of their good rating and they are in my zip code. They worked with my schedule and were going to send someone out Monday morning at 7 AM. Later that day they called back and said that they had a technician who was finishing a job in my area and could get to me that afternoon. Charles was very courteous & professional. He showed me exactly what the problems were, told me what he would need to do to fix it, and gave me a written estimate of the price. When he was checking out the water filter, he found that it was the batteries and the shut off valve. He fixed this and did not charge me anything. After the work was finished, he showed me what he had done, explained how to use the new shut-off valve (it was a new type), and gave me advice in shutting off my water to the outside faucets in the winter. He even angled the faucet so it would not be right against the ground. He went above and beyond what I expected of a plumber. It is so nice to be able to check Angie's List and be able to get a company like Majestic Plumbing. They were quick in getting to me, stuck to their quote, courteous & professional.

When I called on Friday to schedule an appointment, Kristy helped me to get a last minute appointment Saturday AM. When Lonnie showed up, he was right on time. He was very professional and took all my questions in stride. As I had never paid a professional to work on my plumbing before, the cost for a "real" plumber was a bit higher than I expected, but after seeing the results, I don't regret a thing. I was definitely a "helicopter" hovering and I'm sure I started to become annoying, but Lonnie told me he didn't mind and I should feel free to ask anything at all. Great people to deal with, but keep in mind these are not some folks you pick up from a Homedepot parking lot. They charge the same rate on the weekends as they do during the week, but if you use their after hours help, (after 10pm) they do charge extra. Also, if you don't pay with a check, there is a 3% additional processing fee (for credit cards).

After trying with no success in getting the line between the toilet and the sump pump unclogged, I called Majestic Plumbing. Plumber Lonnie Perry arrived as scheduled the following morning. He quickly assessed that the hand towels had not damaged the pump and then cleared the line between the toilet and the pump. After completing the service that i had requested, he then offered a free service to do a plumbing inspection on the whole house. As a result he tightened a couple of valve fixtures that had become loosened. Lonnie was extremely professional, knowgeable and courteous. I would highly recommend Majestic Plumbing and will certainly use them again if needed.

I called Majestic regarding a plumbing issue at my townhouse. Joseph Hartline came that same day, at the exact time promised.....great first impression! He quickly determined that the problem was at the water source outside of my building. Consequently, the repair work is the responsibility of the home owners association, and there is nothing to be repaired inside the house. I fully expected to pay for the service call, but he didn't even charge me. I would highly recommend Majestic Plumbing, and when you call be sure to ask for Joseph!

We are rehabing a 1970's brick ranch. I needed some plumbing work done to get ready for the drywall contractors. Lonnie was on time and on the spot. He completed all work in a very professional and timely manner. I asked him to look at the existing natural gas lines and he found some issues. He took measurements and got the nameplate data from all connected appliances. Lonnie figured out how to do the additional work in the most cost effective manner and made recommendations at no charge. I will have him back out in the next couple of weeks to do the work. Also, I am modifying 2 bathrooms. Lonnie gave me advice on how to locate the drains so that when I am ready to hook up the new shower and bath, it would be cost effective. I have worked with several plumbers over the years, but my search is over! Lonnie and Majestic is top of the line!

We searched Angies List as we have just had a pleasant experience from another company. We had another contract give us a quote for plumbing work, however they did not do sheetrock or tiling repair. We did not want to go between different contractors, so we search Angies list for an "all in one" type company to do the job. We selected the top three companies and we planned to allow each company to do a quote. Two of the companies were unable to do sheetrock. Majestic was the only company out of the three that was able to do all the work. I communicated with Ms. Christina and she handle the business from start to finish in a pleasant and professional way. Once thing I noticed about Majestic is there commitment to avoid transaction fraud. She assured me that my billing details would be destroyed immediately after the transactions are completed. The quote for the service was extremely detailed and thorough. One thing I have noticed about using companies from Angies list (at least the top rated companies) is their attention to details. As a detailed couple ourselves we appreciated this quality. The service was completed promptly and our tenants are very happy with the work done as compared to in the past. We look forward to using Majestic if there is any furthur work that needs to be done.

We discovered we had a leak in our water main, between the water meter and the house. We called Majestic and they came out next day. Thorston figured out where the leak was and gave us two options. He could repair the leak for $500. However he saw that we had tree roots causing the pipe to be stressed and indicated it was possible we might have other small leaks in the pipe lenght or could have in the future. We are aware of the root problem as it is affecting our driveway as well so we opted to go with the other option he gave us, which was to replace the entire lenght of pipe from the meter to the house. They arranged for this next day and completed the job on time and on budget which was $1500. They gave us a 10 year warranty. We are very pleased with Thorston and Majestic. They did a great job, professional and neat. We will definitely use them for all our future plumbing needs.

We share a sewer line with our neighbors (we live in townhomes) and had a root ball in the line. Majestic came out, assessed what the problem was and gave an estimate to clear the line. They performed the work on time and on budget and even gave us a warranty. Thorston was professional and we would definitely use them again.

I have a clog drain on the driveway by my car garage and I had this problem for a while. I have rented a snake machine from Home Depot to try to clear the drain pipe that goes out to the creek located behind the car garage. It did help but the drainage was very slow and when it really rain hard, It would flood my driveway. I call three places to get an estimate for the job. One place would charge me $80 just to come out and look at it. Another place wasn't available until next week-but I would be out of town by then. Majestic Plumbing was very good about coming out and giving me a free estimate. I was at work when Thorton came out- he was very professional and told me that it would cost me $265 to take care of it. I was very happy that they took care of it and follow up with me the next day to make sure that I was happy with the result. There were a lot of roots from the tree that causes the clog of the drain. Thorton was able to remove most of the roots. I was very happy with the result and wrote the check the next day and send in the payment.

They did fine. They were reasonably priced. I would use them again.

They came out in the afternoon, looked the job over, gave me two options on how to fix it. I chose the more expensive option ($1400), even though it would have meant they would need to lift the cover of the septic tank. I am hoping to sell my house soon, and was very concerned about the impact of this project on the appearance of the house and front yard. They spent time talking to me about all the things they could do to minimize the impact to my yard. They were able to come the next day and had it fixed by noon. Also, once they had dug up the pipe they found that they did not need to open the septic tank - so they only charged me $1100. There was minimal impact to my yard. The other three companies from whom I got estimates were going to drive a skid-steer rubber-track digging machine to dig the trench, except one that offered to hand-dig it for an extra $600. That machine would have wrecked my yard. Also, all the other companies told me they would have to remove the bush growing near where the pipe exits the house. Majestic was able to save it, unharmed. Finally, the estimates for the job varied wildly, from a high of $3900 to Majestic's lowest bid of $1100. I was so pleased that I asked them to estimate another, smaller project that has been nagging me. It doesn't cause a problem, but isn't up to code, so I thought I should have it taken care of. They told me it would be $400 to fix, but that it wasn't worth doing if I was planning to sell the house. Good point, and I appreciated the honesty. Thank you, Majestic!

Lonnie was fantastic!!! He came out to install a sink, and it turned into a much larger project, but he was very good about giving me lots of information and made himself VERY available to me to call him for any questions. He was prompt, efficient, got the job done in less time than estimated and everything looks amazing! I will DEFINITELY call them in the future for any plumbing issues we may have.

I thought they were great; the plumber that came out did an outstanding job. He easily honored the $50 coupon that I got from Angie?s List. The price is set and it comes out of the book. I would definitely recommend them. He knew his profession and he was a very capable plumber.

Amazing service on the replacement of a sewer line! Would definitely use again and recommend to everyone. Thorston was a pleasure to work with. To hear more about the work done on our house, read below: We had the misfortune of a blocked sewer pipe in our home late on Sunday night. Majestic was the only company I called that was able to send a plumber that night. Thorston called when he was on the way and was very polite. He was very thorough and realized that he would need a bigger machine to address our problem. He promised to return first thing in the morning, which he did. He then attempted to clear the pipe using "rotor rooting" and was unable to clear the blockage. As we had anticipated, we had to replace our sewer line from house to the street. We knew this was a probabilty when we purchased our 1940s home so we were not suprised. Thorston was extremely profressional every step of the way. He was very curteous at all times. The whole job required the work of two men and took two days due to hold ups with the inspection. At one point, the owner of the company even came by our house to wait for the inspector. Thorston took extreme care when refilling the ditch for the pipe and even took the time to replant some bushes that had been taken out in the process. He was also very careful not to mess up our neighbor's yard which we greatly appreciated. We had to spend a significant amount of money on a plumbing job we did not expect on a Sunday night. Majestic made it as painless as possible and we will definitely use them again!

It was an after-hours job. The plumber was very kind and pleasant to come after 9PM. It took about 1 1/2 hours to make the repair. He was conscientious and made sure to keep the area clean. We worked together to try a couple of ways to get the towel out of the blade, and he was happy to consider my suggestions. Ultimately, he had to take the pump outside and wash it out. After repairing the pump and putting everything back together, he was kind enough to inform us of a step that was left out of the previous install .. drilling a hole somewhere in a pipe. He did that for us. Also warned us that the lid should be caulked so fumes could not come out into the bathroom. Considering the circumstances I was extremely pleased.

He did a great job. He came out the same day that we got a hold of them; they arranged it in the evening. It was a very good experience. I had tried another company too, but they had no one available to come over. I was happy with the job, but my wife had some issues with the work. The price was reasonable. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

We called Majestic out of Angie's list and agreed upon a time. Joseph was slightly detained on the previous job but kept us informed all along as to his arrival time. Joseph from Majestic Plumbing replaced a leaking expansion tank and shut-off valve on our gas hot water heater. Even though it was around 9 pm, he went to Home Depot for the parts that night to save us being without hot water until the next day. It was apparent that he took special pride in his work when even the untrained eye could notice perfectionist's details such as the perfect soldering job. He was professional, and amiable, and we would use this company (especially Joseph) again and would highly recommend them. Prior to calling Majestic, we got one other estimate from a friend's recommendation. It became apparent that this plumber was not very familiar with the various types and installation recommendations of expansion tanks (which we had previously researched). We had also considered replacing our 10 yr. old water heater. Joseph was quite knowledgeable in explaining the pros and cons of the options available. When the time comes for the replacement we will definitely call Majestic.

There was no cost for the 'consultation' and I was totally happy with the experience, from the call to schedule the service, through the time the service call ended. I highly recommend Majestic. No pressure for them to do the work, and definitely no attempt to 'up-sell'.

Since I had a recent need for a similar service in another property I had a revelent and timely frame of reference that most others would not.I must state that it may well have been an unfortunate "bad" day for the appointment taker and the Tech which added to my negative impression. The owner did call and offered his apology for any misunderstanding. This I respect. However I must stand by my first impression. I went elsewhere.

Water leak from cold water pipe under kitchen sink, causing flooding in crawl-space located rapidly. Leak found to be due to bad junction between old galvanized steel piping entering house and newer copper pipe going to sink faucet. Reasonable quotation for work given, but work actually performed for less than quoted price because simpler access to problem point located through kitchen floor. Leak corrected in short time with excellent results. Work performed neatly and very courteously by young technician (Joseph).

Very impressed with this company, will use again.

I contacted them because they had a coupon. They were very professional and did their homework to look at what was wrong and quoted us based on that. I didn't have them do the work.
