Description of Work: Bought a coupon for an hour of work off Angie's list. I had diagnosed my water heater problem and decided to have Majestic do the work which was to install a new gas control valve. The technician gave me a quote the next day which included $450 for the part and $250 for labor. I was able to purchase the part myself for $250 and found a plumber through word-of-mouth (which I thought Angie's list was supposed to provide) who did flawless work for $150.

Description of Work: I took advantage of Angie's List special of $79 for toilet check-up and replacement of filler for my 3 toilets. During their visit, they additionally sealed 1 leaking tank and also sealed a bathroom shower head and faucets to stop leakage I'd from the upstairs bathroom to my downstairs laundry room and kitchen breakfast nook. Because I am an Angie's List subscriber, they performed the additional work at a discounted price. I was extremely pleased with their work and would definitely use them again in a fast heartbeat.

Description of Work: Our sewer system backed up into the bathtubs and toilets a week before Christmas. We called our normal plumbing Company (not Majestic) and they sent someone who snaked the line and found roots. He cleared the line temporarily and said that we would need to eventually get the line videoed in order to repair damage. Right before we left for Christmas vacation, the system backed up again. We called to schedule the camera for the Tuesday after Christmas and they said they would get it scheduled. As I was driving back on Tuesday, they called and said that they would not camera the line as the roots may damage the camera and they gave me an estimate starting at $2000. I said I would have to think about this. I was shocked as I did not feel that they could possibly know what the problem was as they had not cameraed the line or looked around the property at all. I looked on Angie's list and called Majestic. Lonnie came out and after surveying the system layout and the property including looking into the City manhole to assess the flow, he used his camera to pinpoint the problem. He gave me very detailed information on the situation. He explained the work that would be done in detail and gave me the estimate. Since the estimate was quite a bit less than the other company and I completely understood what the problem was, I told him to go ahead with the repair. He called the office and when no other employees were available, he was going to do the work himself that day. Since we already had a hotel room, we said we could wait until the next day. Wes and Jake came out the next morning to do the work at 8am as promised. They were very professional. They explained and showed us what they found when they got under the concrete and to the line which was about 4 feet deep. They kept us informed of the progress all day and cleaned up after the job was done. Needless to say, we have new plumbers!

Description of Work: I recently had my gas line to my attic tested by Dekalb County after a new furnace was installed. I called Majestic Plumbing on Christmas eve at about 8:30a.m, 12/24/11. Great response. Friendly, knowledgeable service tech came out right away. They didn't need to supply any parts for this job, as all that was needed was for the black gas-line to be reconnected. I was charged $70.00 extra because it was Christmas Eve. Total cost for reconnect was $278.45. Luckily, I had a $50.00 off coupon from Angie's list, so I paid $228.45. I thought this price was high, but since it was Christmas Eve and guessts were coming in the evening, it was necessary. Besides, the pricey charges, overall my experience was good.

Description of Work: The first time they came to our house, they installed 2 new water heaters. They had to come back to install a new drain line from the house. The second time, I called them because my tenant was having problems with the toilets in a condo that I manage.

Description of Work: I had to have part of a sewer line replaced b/c it was cast iron and had rotted from the bottom. The guys from Majestic were great, they diagnosed the issue and came out the next day to do the repair. They had to jackhammer through my slab in my laundry room. They put up a plastic sheet to minimize the mess. They cleaned up afterwards. They arrived on time and finished ahead of schedule. They were polite, knowledgable and respectful. I will use them again as well as recommending to others. They even looked at my hot water heater and the pressure in the house for no extra charge.

Description of Work: The sewer pipe to my septic tank began backing up on Sat afternoon. Lonnie gave me an estimate over the phone and said he could get to it that afternoon...two things I couldn't get from other plumbers. He pulled the downstairs toilet and told me he'd run a camera for no charge. Once more, roots had grown into the sewer line. He told me he could either clear the clog, or replace the line so i would never clog again by using salt and cement....guaranteed for life. Lonny & Michael returned the next day and: 1. Dug up the old line 2. Opened the septic tank 3. Installed a new line using salt & concrete 4. Installed a ballast in tank--previous one destroyed by another plumber 5. Installed a clean out close to tank After over five hours, they completed an EXCELLENT job.

Description of Work: Charles came out to troubleshoot a leak coming from a shower stall that was previously never used. He explained what he thought was going on - which made sense based on other quirks - and was proven right after cutting out some tile and pulling up the shower pan. PVC pipe under the pan was fixed the same day and we haven't had any problems since.

Description of Work: Repaired two toilets on our 2nd floor. Work was completed efficiently and with high quality!! We asked the back when we developed a leak in one of our sinks. Again, excellent work. We are very satisfied.

Description of Work: I hired Majestic Plumbing for an expert opinion and inspection and an estimate for work that I am considering. I wanted to know how Majestic would address the problems and what materials they would use. The Master Plumber who did the service call was extremely knowledgeable on materials and alternative installations that would last longer and meet or be above necessary code. Included in the list were confirmation of main water line installation, probable cause of, elimination of odor issue, tankless hot water issue, uncapped copper pipes protruding through walls, additional insulation needed to protect pipes and addition of exterior water service to new area of property. He showed me areas to have checked should I notice leak problems in the future. Majestic does do annual inspections without a contract. I will use them again as it was clear that this company has customer care as a priority rather than finding unnecessary repairs to generate income.
