Was a good experience and was given a cell number to call or text with any further problems.
Description of Work: Lonnie, the owner, was my technician. I was having an issue with my dishwasher backing up and had caused water damage to the unit beneath mine. He was very courteous and explained that the valve causing this would be cheaper to have repaired by a technician specific to that brand of dishwasher, or replace the whole thing. He raised my drain hose a few inches to see if that would make a difference, and he also waited a few mins to speak to the owner of the unit beneath mine and explain what had happened even though he didn't charge me anything. Overall, I was very happy with this company and will definitely be calling them for any future problems. Asheley

I had an appointment between 8:00 and 10:00. He showed at 10:20, about five minutes after his office called to say he was running late. He sold me on the unit with the recirc pump and left by 11 saying he would return in an hour after picking up his supplies. He returned at 2:00. He began installation. I finally had hot water at 12:45 AM, but the pump was not delivering hot water instantly as promised. I told him to go home and finish on the next day, Saturday. He came back late morning and worked on it. He said it needed a bit of time to heat all the lines and give it a chance. Next morning it was as long as ever to get hot water.I called and they sent another tech who looked at it and said would need another loop line installed from the heater to the kitchen, and that I should call the owner. I did. The owner came with another tech and adjusted the settings of the pump telling me to try it in the morning, and that he was going to another job. No change. I called him again, and they sent the first tech back to install the loop line. He did and it worked. The first work began May 4 and the job was completed June 8. One weekend of that was due to my delay, as I went out of town. Shortly after, I found both vent caps laying on the ground. Friction fit does not hold. I only have an 8' ladder and could not reach them, so I got creative and got the job done. In doing so, I see how poorly the vents were installed. The flanges are not against the house and there is no caulking around the pipes. Gee, I wonder if I will have a pest issue someday if I don't pay a handyman to come back and do it correctly. They should know the product they are selling and how to install it. I have it on my laundry room wall (outside exposure for venting) and the laundry room is adjacent to the master bedroom. The pump does make noise. Fortunately I run a fan at night for the noise, but it could be an issue for a dead quiet sleeper. I do give them credit for coming back several times to get it right, but getting it right the first time would have been much better.
Description of Work: Majestic removed my 40 gallon tank water heater and installed a tankless water heater manufactured by Navien, which includes an internal re-circulating pump, one feature I particularly made my choice upon.

I called Majestic to a leak fixed that was in my basement coming from the master shower upstairs. They sent a Mr. James Brewer a Journey Plumber to see to the problem. As he assessed the problem he stated that to replace the joint fittings that were was leaking would be an estimate of $300.00. But he also stated it would be best to see if he tried to repair it first since it was a more logical and less expense alternative avenue. He took apart the drain to the shower and exposed that that the putty around the fitting had rotted and that the drain was lose. He re-puttied the fitting and re-tightened the the drain. After letting the hot water run to about 20 minutes it no longer leaked in the basement. Problem solved! The cost for the job was $89.00 and after applying my $50.00 Angie's List coupon the whole job was at $39.00. I am usually not a Band-Ade sought of guy and tend to replace but it was most refreshing to see that James took the repair approach where as I am sure another company would just said just replace it for the higher dollar amount!

The first estimate I got was for $301.27, I then told the plumber I had an Angie's List deal of $85 for $155. An hour later, the plumber told me he couldn't remove the cartridge and he would have to cut a 12x12 hole in the bedroom wall, as he couldn't get the cartridge out and I would probably also need to replace the valve, he then gave me an estimate of $605. I asked if there were any other options then cutting a hole in my wall, he couldn't think of anything. This was double the original estimate. I wasn't sure if I was quoted a higher price due to the fact I had told him I had an Angie's List deal. The price I actually paid was not even $605, as when I paid an added miscellaneous parts fee of $4.97 was added. I would have preferred if the estimates provided were accurate and I wasn't hit with additional charges after the fact. I now also have to fix a huge hole in my wall, and the price of the fix was double the original estimate. He fixed one problem, but left me with another problem to fix.
Description of Work: Hot water not working in one of the bathrooms. Plumber replaced the cartridge.

It is now 12:30AM and the situation has been contained: we can shower, use the bathrooms and wash our clothes and the restoration company will be back later this morning. Thank you Mr. Sparks, Majestic and Angie's List (we became members tonight).
Description of Work: We had a main sewer line from our house clog the caused a sewage backup that flooded our home at 10PM at night. The on call technician, David Spark, responded promptly and was incredibly professional, helpful and efficient. He snaked opened the lines and immediately called a restoration company who arrived with dehumidifiers, assessed the damage and began working. Dave plans to return and place a camera through the lines at no extra charge to make certain there are no defects that might lead to a recurrence.

The technician arrived on time and began his work. A couple of times, I needed to ask a question, but he was busy chatting on the phone via his blue tooth device. Once he got off the call, he showed me that a valve on one of our hot water heaters would not shut off and that it would be $198 to replace it. I also had a leaking shower head that I had attempted to repair myself, but could not get a part loose. He gave me a couple of different prices for that before he went to look at the shower. He attempted the same thing and could not get it loose, either, and stated it would have to be fixed through the wall. Therefore, I ended up with an estimate for $400 to repair the leaking shower head. Overall, the inspection was fine (I think) and he charged me to replace the valve and included the future estimate for the shower head. I did not care for this guy's lack of professionalism. Incidentally, the same leaking shower head was repaired by another plumber for $89. That person had no problem getting the part off.
Description of Work: I purchased a coupon from Angie's List for $69 for a plumbing inspection and hot water heater flush. After the flush, one of the valves on the hot water heater wouldn't shut off, so that then had to be replaced. In addition, I asked the plumber to look at a leaking shower head. No work was done as he struggled to get the same part off that I had struggled with and told me it would have to be fixed through the wall behind - gave me an estimate of $400.

It was a good experience. They had a coupon. They were very prompt and on time. They laid out several options that were available and told me the prices of each option and what I was getting. They told me all the plusses and drawbacks so they gave me all the options and allowed me to make the best choice for myself. It turned out very well.

Majestic performed the work in a timely manner and the work was very professionally performed. I would highly recommend use of their service again and will definitely use them again myself. The only item I would mention was less than top notch was they did not make it out to my home during the initial scheduled time slot (Thursday afternoon) due to the technician had fallen behind on a previous job he was working on. Majestic did however contact me via phone prior to the technician missing the scheduled stop and scheduled a new time for me (Saturday morning) in which the technician showed up promptly, on time, and performed a great service.
Description of Work: Overall, the plumbing technician which came to our home was very friendly and did an outstanding job with the work he performed. We had a hose bib on the exterior (front) of our home that had the handle broken off by some contractors performing work on our home.

Service tech arrived on time. I had called a professional plumber to ensure there were no issues with the installation since my fence builder had cut my water line installing a fence post several months earlier and clay had gotten into my water lines and damaged my old dishwasher. I showed him the plumbing revamp I had also had done to my hot water tank when I purchased the home. He first quoted me the price to remove the old dishwasher and install the new one. I almost fell off my chair as the price he quoted was $340 - $400. I purchased my new, very expensive top of the line dishwasher from Sears. They quoted $139 to install the new dishwasher and haul away the old one so I was very shocked that Majestic wanted $240 - 400. It is my fault for not asking a price quote for this when I purchased the discount coupon ($85.00 for $155.00 of service) and when I scheduled the appointment. The Service Tech called the owner and he agreed to discount the installation an additional $60.00. The Service Tech did an excellent job of installing the dishwasher but at the final stage he said there was a part missing and he could not attach the water supply line until I got that part. Quick call to Sears and an hour later they called me back and advised what was missing was the basic installation kit (good for any dishwasher). All I needed was basically a part that hooked the hose to the dishwasher - this part does not come with dishwashers. This is a part I think would be carried on a plumbers truck if they know they are installing a dishwasher. The Service Tech left after my Project Manager, who is heading up several other projects for me, came over and discussed the missing part with the Service Tech and said he would complete the installation. Off I drove to Home Depot and purchased a complete installation kit for the one part for $15. My dishwasher was hooked up by my Project Manager the next day. Overall I spent $214.95 for Majestic's service, $15.00 to Home Depot, and an additional 30 minutes to my PM for completing the install. I would have been money ahead and installation completed in a short time if I had just scheduled the installation with Sears. Overall I was happy with the service provided but extremely disappointed in Majestic's pricing for a dishwasher installation. I assumed it would be in line with what Sears had priced, so I didn't ask the key question - price! I am very grateful that they discounted an additional $60.00. So in the future, I will be extremely careful to get detailed quotes from any service provider before buying a service coupon on Angie's List.

James came and looked at the job. I liked the fact he was very experienced and a person you could definitely trust. I just gave him a key to the house and he completed the work within his schedule. This was a tough job, as he had to run a gas line in a older home in very close quarters. He did an excellent job! I would highly recommend Majestic. Ask for James. You will not be disappointed!

Joseph Hartline from Malestic Plumbing trouble shot and resolved a leak previous plumbers could not. It turned out that the new tile on our bathroom floor and wall caused our toilet to no longer seal properly and it would leak every time we flushed. He installed a spacer flange, recommended a new properly sized toilet that was on sale, went to pick it up at the store and installed it all in the same day.

Plumber came out as a response to an emergency call. Water was leaking overall our floor in the house. Determined it was an issue with our water heater. They could replace the part but we determined it was better to replace the water heater with a new one. Price was reasonable and the work was done immediately. Overall a very good experience.

I had a water leak outside the house. Turns out the outside water faucet had rusted. I had to call the water department to turn off the water at the street. After calling Majestic, they came out this morning. They dug up the pipe, found the problem, gave me an estimate. They capped off the line and installed a new faucet on the side of the house like it should have been done originally. They also replaced the diverter in my bathtub. Overall, great service. Joseph Hartline was great as was Chris. They were also very nice to my rambunctious puppies who also wanted to help with the repairs. They were very patient with the dogs around. Glad to have found them.

This is my first time writing a review, but I was extremely happy with the service I received from Majestic Plumbing. I had a terrible leak in my front yard that my insurance plan did not cover. I originally was going to continue to use the plumbing company that the insurance company worked with, but it took them three days to call me back with an estimate. My yard was a wreck and I had no other choice than to find a new company. Within an hour or so of after speaking with Angie from Majestic someone from the company came out to assess the issue. When I finally got the estimate from the OTHER company they wanted to charge me $2000 dollars ($900 more than Majestic). David and Michael from Majestic were wonderful and they worked really hard to take care of my issues. I will definitely use Majestic in the future and reccomend them to all of my family and friends.

Lonnie Perry from Majestic arrived early. We already had an $85.00 special deal which we got on Angie's List. He was very knowledgeable and worked on the toilet clog, although it had almost cleared up by the time he arrived. He also tightened the faucet in the bathroom that was leaking and the faucet in the kitchen that was leaking. He fixed our problem with having to hold the toilet handle down for a long time to flush the toilet. He was prompt and very nice and we will definitely use Majestic in the future.

Showed up one hour late BUT traffic was unusually bad and that delay could not be avoided. Installed water service line. Installation was a little unusual as water line came up in wall then he diverted it inside the base kitchen cabinet and then back into the wall to where the faucet was to be installed. With the line coming into the cabinet and then back into the wall we had to build a wooden box around the plumbing to protect it from being hit by pots and pans. Next was the installation of a touch activated kitchen faucet and a garbage disposal in a new countertop. While it took a while to install the faucet after seeing the wires and other connections required I would say the installation was satisfactory. Happy I did nt have to do it. The items of concern are: 1. The service line for the faucet had a shut off valve installed in the wall in the cabinet. I was shown the installation and did agree even though the diversion into the cabinet and back into the wall seemed unusual. When asked why it was done like that I was told they did not have the tools to come straight up in the wall. I had to call the company to come back. I could not reach the shut off valve adequately to turn the water on. The valve was hanging in midair and not secured to anything. The 2nd plumber said the original plumber had never turned the water on to check his work for leaks. After he secured the valve and turned it on, the valve evidently has to be "broken" loose the first time.. This was call back #1 for lack of attention to detail. 2. connection under the new faucet started leaking. I disassembled the connection. No putty on the threads. Applied putty and reassembled. Leak solved. This could have been a call back but I fixed it myself. 3. New touch activated faucet suddenly quit working. Even though installed a month or so maybe the batteries were bad. Nope...the connection points on the case were rusted off from the garbage disposal having been leaking. Called them back again and it took just a few minutes to fix. The disposal was not locked in place! Again lack of quality and attention to detail. I will say they returned when called very quickly. Return calls to fix the original plumbers mistakes were not major disasters. Just representative of average work. Three issues resulting from doing three tasks is not a great track record.

The receipt indicated that disposal installation at regular rate is $405. We had an Angie List coupon for $69 but they just discounted $155 off of their total bill. I think their hourly rate is $155. We called them because of the coupon and I was not aware of the hourly rate of $155. They did a professional job and we haven't had a problem with the disposal. I just think they are an expensive service. $405 and even $254.95 seems like a lot to install a disposal. I don't see where we got any benefit with an Angie coupon.

My water heater died on Memorial Day. I sent a "message" to Majestic via their website asking to be contacted early on the next business day. They phoned me before 9AM that Tuesday. They scheduled a plumber to come out same day to assess. David came out, told me what I suspected, that it needed to be replaced and gave me several options and prices. I made a decision and he left, scheduled to return the next day at my time preference. He showed up on time, took away the old water heater, installed a new one and completely cleaned up after himself. He was professional and friendly. He completed the task timely and all is well. I am very please with their response time and ability to take care of my issue quickly and completely and as quoted. I will definitely use them again.

Purchased coupon on Angies list Big Deal. $155.00 of plumbing work for $85.00. I was then charged an additional $100.00 for the installation of a Toilet and removal and haul away of the old toilet. The Plumber was very nice and extremely knowledgable. He did a great job, and would use them again only if I get a estimate first. After he left it just seemed very expensive. $255.00 for one hour of work plus removal of the old toilet. I called a few Plumbers after he left and was quoted between $135.00 and $175.00 if there was no problems and it took up to 1 hour. There were no issues and it was less than a hour. When speaking with the other plumbers it was just the hourly rate for how long it took to do the job and a small charge to remove the old Toilet.. Will be a little more carefull when purchasing the Big Deal

We had the first plumber come out to do a quote and set another date to come out to perform the work. When my appointment came another plumber came out and did not want to do the work for the original amount that was quoted to me. When I called the company I was told that plumbers can do the work for different amounts. My question was aren't you the same company? Conclusion I will not refer anyone to use this company. They are trying to raise the prices when different plumbers come to your home. They also didn't want to honor the coupon thats on this website. Bottom line DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! A bad way to do business.
