First guy out for an estimate spoke with such a thick accent that I had a difficult time understanding him. Called their office while he was still here and they said other customers had same complaint. He left after giving me a quote that was very, very high for the work involved. They said a supervisor would call me to "translate" what the guy said. They didn't call. I called Angie's List days later to get another plumber or my 'Deal' money refunded. Instead, they called Majestic and I get a call from them to arrange for another guy to come out. Second guy comes out and he is very competant and language is no problem. We discuss what needs to be done and he gives me a written quote. I agreed to it but I still thought the quote is very high for the work/time involved, since everything is easily accessed and exposed. The actual installation only involved turning off water from outside, draining the pipe (which is isolated from the house water by another valve), cutting a 1/2-inch pipe, install and solder the water pressure valve (quoted at around $70), turn water back on. $353 for the job seemed high to me. The technician showed up very promptly. The actual work went quickly (about an hour), smoothly and was well done. However, the technician had to leave and buy a back-check valve, which he had agreed to install on his first visit. Even with the Angie's Deal my cost still came to nearly $300 which I still think was a bit pricey for the time/work involved.

Our experience with them was fine. I would probably not use them again, but it was alright. It just seemed too expensive.

Toilet backed up from roots in the line and flooded main floor. Majestic was quick to respond, cleared the line, arranged to get water mitigation company to the home within an hour of their repair. There was major damage to the carpets, hardwoods and tiles. Their quick response and knowledge of underlying damage saved thousands in further damaged to my home. Excellent response and knowledge base.

Prompt and polite but none of my issues are resolved. The chains on two toilets that were re-attached both failed within days. I was told to order some other toilet parts directly from the manufacturer as they would be free under the warranty but that turned out not to be the case. Also, my main issue was dismissed as a non-issue but remains a concern. Nice folks but I am no further ahead for having used their services.

We had recently bought the house and had some plumbing issues. The toilets did not flush well, some of the sinks were very slow to drain, and the bathtub/shower switch was not working well in one bathroom. James arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He fixed the bathtub/shower switch problem and adjusted the pressure on our water heater, which he said was set too high. He advised us that are issues with the sinks and toilets were due to the fact that there were old (original to the house, which was 17 years old) and that they were just the standard builder grade type that are not very high quality. He recommended new traps for the sinks and new toilets. He offered to give us an estimate for him to do the work but said that installation was not that difficult and was something we could ourselves. He recommended some brands and said we could look at installation how-to videos online. It was nice that he offered that option to us and didn't just try to make a sale. My husband did look at videos online and decided this was something he could do himself. After replacing the toilets and traps, we've had no problems.

They were punctual and cleared the backup as best they could. They were also able to point out how my clean out had been incorrecly installed by a prior plumber. I did not price out other vendors since I relied on the Angie's list reviews so I did not rate them for price, but $300 seemed reasonable. Prior to getting the work done, I told them that I knew our pipes were in bad condition and could possiblu have to be replaced in the near future. However, I was not interested in getting that work done at the time as we've had several other maintenance issues that we had to deal with at around the same time. They gave an estimate to have the pipes replaced but did not pressure me to do so. I would use them again.

Called Majestic in the morning on a Wednesday, they were booked but was available to come out the next day. Arranged to have them come out after 4pm and have the wife meet the tech, which he did. They also called me before arriving, which was nice. To replace the tech estimated 1400.00 which was high as a few others have noticed. But, the tech did offer to take off the 125.00 service fee they did charge for the service call. Thought that was fair and told him so. The hot water heater itself was 940.00. I thought was high since it was a 40 gallon 6 year one compared to a 12 year one 50 gallon I saw at Lowes for about 560.00,there was an additional fee of 289.00 for running more gas line to the replacement heater, I guess he figured to get it back into building code there would be more work there. I do not know much about building codes, but the house was built in 1970 and things can change quite a lot over time. If I had my own way, I would buy the water heater at Lowes , and have Majestic install it with the other fees he stated. For reference, the sales person at Lowes had basic install at 240.00, an expansion tank at 40.00, plust a few other components as well as additional service for the expansion tank. The hot water heater was 560.00 with the Whirlpool 12 year warranty. The estimate was about 1050.00, they could have done within 48 hours.

The plastic polybutylene piping carrying hot water from my water heater to the house sprang a leak. I called Majestic about 10:00p.m. on Wednesday, spoke with a live person and a plumber called me within 15 min. Since the leak was slow enough that I could catch the output in a large garbage can we agreed not to do a call Wednesday night. The Plumber on call agreed to contact dispatch to schedule a 9:00a.m. call Thursday morning which he did. Claude, the majestic plumber, arrived right on time and he was AWESOME. He sized up the issue, gave me a flat rate price which was fair. Claude was very polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He explained he could not warranty polybutylene repair (which I know ? I missed the boat on subsidized PB replacement) and, once I said this was okay, Claude quickly completed the job and it was beautiful. Clearly much better then the kludge series of joints the previous home depot recommended plumber installed 3 years ago when we bought a new water heater. Claude even took and extra 10 minutes to answer a few other minor plumbing questions I had (minor for Claude, major for me). My wife and I will contact Majestic for a quote on polybutylene replacement once we have the money for this job. Thank you team Majestic and thank you Claude.

Great. The tech came out and gave an estimate that we agreed to. The work was timely, efficient and cost much less than was expected.

I have to say they were not very good. I don't think I got my money's worth. He came out and put a metal clasp around the pipe. He then proceeded to tell me I needed all types of work done. I'm not sure if the clasp itself was with the $155 fee. He then gave me a quote of about $600 or $700 for work I needed. When I checked with someone else who was a plumber, they said no way. So I did not bother having him back. He did fix what needed to be done when we called him out but then he tried to tell us we needed all kinds of other work. He was polite and professional and the office staff seem polite as well.

They won't come out to service mulitple coupons in one day. They did make an exception for me though. There was scheduling issues. They were unable to work on my water heater, they said beacuse it was over 6 years old. They also said they could not work on the toilet beacuse it was "too old' too. The person himself was a nice guy though.

It was not a good experiencing honestly. He installed the sink wrong. Basically, when he left, I checked the work that he did and I had to call him back to finish fixing it because things were not caulked correctly and things were leaking. After I called him back, he came back and he fixed everything. But, to this day, the backflow tank on the water heater still has a very slow drip on it that didn't exist before he came. I probably wouldn't use them again. He was a nice guy, the price was good and he came on time. The people that I spoke to were nice. It was probably just one guy having a bad day. He did come right back and fixed it. It is not like I was unhappy. If I had to use them again I would, I would just make sure that I would double checked it again before he left.

They put some water saving equipment in the system. It makes a noise and moves the water very quickly which kind of bothers us. That just may be the way the new systems are.

Todd, from Majestic Plumbing, showed up on time as expected and performed everything that was outlined in the coupon we purchased through Angie's List. He got straight to work on the water heater and had it draining as he was explaining what the causes might be. He tested both elements and found the faulty element. He gave me the price of the installation. I approved the install on the spot and he got right to work on it. After the element was replaced, he got right to work on the inspection of the visable pipes and checked the water pressure. Everything went as expected and I even received a few helpful tips! Thank you!!!

The whole thing went really well. I was really pleased. There wasn't a problem scheduling. They came by in the evening without an extra charge.

Despite a rocky start being rescheduled twice, Joseph did an excellent job of making sure my concerns were addressed and that work was top quality. He was attentive to walking me through the steps that needed to be taken and made a separate trip to make sure the work performed by another technician was up to code and the best course of action. Demitri performed the service, and was clean and knowledgeable. Although it took longer than expected (the technician left half way through to get supplies from home depot) I was glad the company made arrangements for a Saturday appointment. Had it not been for Majestic's follow through after a rough start, this review would have been far more negative. But, I will contact Joseph and Majestic again when I need work done. I was pleased with the work and admire the companies efforts to make sure I was a satisfied customer.
