LB Roofing and Construction did a fantastic job on our basement! They had a competitive bid to start - we got bids from several different construction companies but their bid was more clear, detailed and competitive than the others. They drew up detailed, colored drawings of the project to help us picture how it would look. During the project, they were flexible with our slower schedule but they were very capable and willing to move quickly. The crews that came to the site were knowledgeable, cheerful and very professional. Tom Broadwater, our project manager, communicated very well and often to update us on progress and changes. They wanted us to be happy so they put in the extra TLC to make sure the area was just as we wanted it. We are SO very happy with the results!

I needed a new roof and contacted several companies for estimates. I chose LB Roofing. They gave me a fair price. They were very thorough and professional and I am glad I chose them. Ray, project manager, was very helpful, knowledgable and attentive. I highly recommend LB Roofing.

With a great deal of home construction knowledge, I would consider myself very nitpicky so L. B. Roofing and Construction was one contractor among eight estimates received to complete a bedroom addition on the back of our home. Tom Broadwater was the senior project manager who initially visited me to complete the estimate. Although L. B. Roofing and Construction was not the cheapest estimate, their responsiveness, promptness, and reasonable estimate made my selection simple. Clint Johnson was assigned as the site superintendent. Throughout the building process, Mr. Johnson kept me informed and made corrections as needed. His construction knowledge was apparent from the beginning and his attention to detail was equally impressive. In summary, L. B. Roofing and Construction completed my downstairs bedroom and covered patio within the communicated timeframes and costs ? a beautiful job! I would eagerly recommend them for any home construction needs you may have.

We went through an extensive search for the right roofing contractor. After sifting through many webpages and recommendations, we were able to narrow the field down to 5 candidates. -One provided initial estimate, set up home visit, then never showed up. -One sent us an estimate based on Google Earth and said to call him when we were ready -One was unclear on building codes (drip edge requirements) and wanted 50% up front. -One provided good product info and had a very polished sales presentation. Problem was he never got on a ladder to inspect our roof and was reluctant in helping with our insurance company. LB roofing was hands down the best of the candidates we talked to. Their initial response was prompt and we were assigned a representative (Tom Broadwater) the same day. Tom and I exchanged a few emails and set up an appointment later in the week. Tom showed up on time, did a thorough inspection, and explained our options. Tom worked with us and our insurance and helped us navigate through the whole process. LB roofing team showed up on time and had our roof installed in less than a day. We had a few hiccups post install (to be expected with any construction process), and all of or concerns were addressed in a timely and professional manner. The best vendors not only deliver a quality product, they offer superior customer service before, during, and after the work is done. LB roofing to date has been a pleasure to do business with.

NEEDED A NEW FLAT ROOF OVER A LARGE PORCH. JOB WAS DIFFICULT. EVERYONE WHO LOOKED AT IT HAD A DIFFERENT IDEA OF WHAT SHOULD BE DONE AND NOT ALL ROOFERS WILL INSTALL FLAT ROOFS. LEE PROVIDED ME WITH WHAT I THINK WAS THE BEST OPTION AT THE BEST PRICE AND I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE RESULT. WORK WAS DONE PROMPTLY AND CLEAN UP WAS COMPLETE.

I called LB Roofing to come inspect a suspected leak in my roof after a large rainstorm. The owner, Lee promised that he would come out to my house himself on Saturday (the only day I was available). He arrived right when he said that he would, inspected the leak and provided me an honest evaluation on my roof and the nature of the leak. The price for the repair was very fair and he was finished with the work in under an hour. He was honest, timely and his prices were great. He never tried to up-sell me on any additional work. I would highly recommend him and will contact his company again if I need any additional work in the future.

Had a roof replacement done by LB- Tom was the project manager and he was great! Very responsive, always on time and did they entire job in one day. After the crew finished he came out and inspected the job and made sure everything was wrapped up to perfection. The roofing crew was friendly and answered my random questions that I had during the job- I have dealt with a lot of contractors and LB Roofing is top notch, highly recommended!

A contract crew of 2 spent well over 4 hours replacing, repairing, caulking and trimming off nearly 2 inches of shingle that stuck out over the eaves. Dried caulk already? Blown off shingles already? The crew trimmed some low lying branches and I appreciate that. The roof visually appears much much better from a non professional standpoint. Not sure that I can say I will not have to have them out in the future based on history.

From the first time my husband and I met the Project Team Leader (Ray), he was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He was a great person to work with. Ray listened to what we wanted, answered all of our questions, and always returned our calls. The roofing team were great and very professional also. They did a fantastic job with our new roof and gutters. Everything was done to our satisfaction. We would highly recommend this company, and we did to some friends.

Went great from start to finish. Worked with Ray, who was great, to develop the quote and manage the project. He was very timely from our first meeting to scheduling the service. He was on site to meet me with the actual roofing crew on the day of the project. The roofing crew was very professional, quick and cleaned up well. The quality of the work was top notch. No fluff, no attempts at selling extra products like gutters or leaf guards, although they do offer those options. Very reasonable prices and expectations. Would definitely recommend them to friends and use them again if needed.

Ray and his team were great! I am a high school teacher and they were able to complete the job in three days over my fall break. Once we signed the contract, Ray laid out all of the details for the repair and the time frame. Our materials were delivered at 6am the day construction begin and Ray's team headed by lead Martin showed up at seven and began right away. After the first day our new roof was on and drywall in the kitchen had been put on. The crew returned the next day and completed the job including installing our new gutters. Ray stopped in on both days to make sure I was satisfied with the progress and answer any questions. About a month later after a large rain storm, my wife and I noticed some wet spots in the attic (the shingles had not had a chance to heat and seal fully). Ray's team showed up the next day to provide repairs at no charge. Overall, we have been very satisfied with the quality of the product that we were sold and the service Ray and his crew have provided.

Job was quoted on site and discussed in detail. Once booked job was completed in a timely manner with great customer service.

I would give LB Roofing an A++++ if I could. I cannot say enough good things about them. They showed up when they said they would show up, they cleaned up at the end of each day, they finished when they said they would finish and they came in at the price they estimated. They answered all of my questions and made sure I knew that if I had any problems in the next 12 months that they would be happy to come out and fix the problem for free. They were not the cheapest quote I received but they did the best possible job. My house did not look bad to start with so I am surprised at the number of people who noticed the exterior work that was done. I suspect it is because everything looks brighter and newer, my curb appeal has definitely improved. I would definitely use LB Roofing again and have recommended them to a number of people.

Our experience with LB construction is one I am happy to share with others. While a project this big is going to have some bumps along the way this was really a great experience. Everyone who worked on our project was extremely professional and made sure that at the end of every day we were happy. Lee the owner was heavily involved on a day to day basis and made sure we were happy not only with the finished project but the process itself. They were very clean and made sure that everything that we wanted was incorprated into the scope of work. Due to the nature of the work there was a lot of dust and they cleaned the floors of the exisiting space of our house every night before they left and also made sure the driveway was clean. All in all it was a great experience and I can't imagine how it would have gone without them. When we look to do our basement in a couple of years Lee will be the first person that I call.

They were there at the time they said. The job was done in the time frame that they also explained would take place. Everything was completely clean when they left. As far as the roof we never found any roofing nails or any shingles anywhere in our yard.

Working with LB Roofing and Construction was a pleasure. All interactions were professional and low pressure. The Project Lead person was Ray Tanner. Mr. Tanner coordinated all work and thoroughly explained things and answered questions. He responded to our phone calls and questions promptly; and he visited the work site regularly to oversee the work. He inspired confidence and when the job was done we felt confident that we got what we paid for. The work crew chief, Martin, was very knowledgeable and capable. The roof looked beautiful after they were finished. We appreciated that they used only top rated (by Consumer Reports) roofing materials. The two other bids we received did not offer this well-respected shingle manufacturer. Out of curiosity, I went to the attic and shined a light around looking for leaks during a large rainstorm a day or so after: No leaks anywhere. The price was not the lowest bid, but apples for apples, it was close to the lowest, and thousands less that the highest bid. My wife and I highly recommend LB Roofing and Construction.

Excellent!! The estimate was clear and brief, no fine print issues. Tom Broadwater (Project Manager) was there from start to end. I encountered some problems with my basement permits from 2 years ago not being completed. Tom assisted and obtained valuable information on how to correct the situation. All went smoothly, the County Inspector was really impressed with the materials and workmanship of the roof. Price was that of someone wanting to earn my business and make a profit, not like the others who were acting like this was going to be their only project for the year. They did not collect payment until the end of Sept, after all permits were closed. If I had my own construction business I would hire Tom. Everyone who has seen the workmanship and materials of the roof falls in love instantly. I will definitely do business with LB Roofing and Construction again in the future!

I contacted LB Roofing a couple of years back after a nasty storm to evaluate my roof since all of my neighbors were getting new roofs and figured I must have damage myself. They promptly came and communicated to me that a considerable number of shingles were gone and it appeared I had a legitimate case to call the insurance company. Back then my insurance company came out and LB was there to walk thru the roof and discuss the issues. My insurance company denied the re-roof but did approve some money for repair. I chose not to repair given my experience with roof repair coming from Florida. Both LB and I were very disappointed with the insurance company's decision and we went our separate ways. Now in 2013, after more shingles appeared on my lawn, I called the insurance company to revisit the roof claim. I also called LB Roofing and Lee immediately answered the call and I explained our past experience. He was quick to send Tom by and revisit the roof and again said there was a legitimate claim. After a few weeks of dealing with the insurance company and each time Lee or Tom were there to to meet with them (total of 3 times), the insurance company again denied payment of a new roof. I was quite disappointed with their decision and very upset at how one tries to be honest and others don't keep their promises (insurance company). Tom took the time to clearly explain what was going on when the insurance adjuster was not very clear or reasonable. Because of the tense situation, Tom quickly provided the solution that benefited me (the homeowner). I greatly appreciate everything Tom and LB did for me. That same afternoon after our early morning appointment, their team came and repaired my roof while I was away. When I came home, the roof was repaired and you couldn't even tell someone was here. Everything was clean and nothing seemed out of place. Very professional. I would definitely recommend using them for all of my construction needs. They are reliable, reasonable and very accommodating.

All went well, had a few questions and they were taken care of without issue.

Workers started on time on day one. Worked all day and into evening. Large house so took two days. I have always been well pleased in worship and care received.

They always showed up as scheduled or notified me if there was a change. They cleaned up after themselves, painted all the wood they replaced and all the vents and were always very polite. I have not had any problems with the roof since it was done (I had a leak when I called them to re-roof )and with all the rain we have been having...I have been very happy. The neighbors compliment me on my new roof!?

Owner Lee Marcum is very friendly and after inspecting roof was very honest in telling me that a new roof was not needed. His crew came out on the 5th and quickly went to work. They were very efficient and completed all roof repairs in a few hours. They did not remove tree branches on the back of the house but a follow up call by Mr. Marcum confirmed that they would return to finish the job. The crew returned the next day and completed the work. Mr. Marcum personally inspects the work sites. He always returned calls promptly and kept me informed of the process. This was a difficult job because of all the Atlanta rain this season but working with this company made it a breeze.

With all the rain in the past few months, my roof was leaking in multiple places. I contacted numerous companies in the Atlanta area for quotes; one did not even show up for the scheduled appointment, one gave me a price which was unreasonable and another did not work well with my insurance company. My friend then had referred me to LB roofing because they had their roof replaced and said the customer service was impeccable. I listened to her advice and called. To my surprise, the owner of the company, Lee, called me back the same day and scheduled the appointment the same week. The service and his expertise were invaluable and he answered all my questions very patiently. He was able to fix my roof the same day. I was so pleased with the service that I had him look at my basement which needed remodeling. His team was able to put in an in-law suite in the basement furnished with a spectacular kitchen and a bathroom. I am so glad I listened to my friend's advice and am very happy with the end result.

Tom present himself and his company very professionally and knowledgeably. Unlike other roofing companies, they displayed integrity by not promising to cheat the insurance company from their deductible. They did excellent work, very communicative and we would use them again.

I so wanted to give 5 stars Hire for roof - Maybe Other Construction- At your own risk! Lee, a gem of a guy. (I will expect them to respond, however, if considering,stick with them for your roof) They are not a construction company! Young,inexperienced. I do wonder if Warranty will be any good. Customer service after completion, nonexistent.. Came, gave competitive price for roof.. However, they also say they do construction. Volunteered to give replacement window price at initial meeting.. so I bit. Also wanted 2 give estimate for extending soffits. After 2 weeks waiting and phone call after phone call.. I finally had another company do the soffits. I had 3 appointments to measure the windows. First, failed. Second, mis-measured. Third, hired new sub-contractor.. assume measurements correct, but never got estimate. I own my own company.. each appointment took 5 hours out of my dayAfter, Lee went out of town, twice during my project, missing quote deadline after quote deadline.. 7 text, 8 phone calls, and two vacations.. finally.. he responded with apology after apology.. but after two months.. too long.. Gutters were installed inaccurately, and finally today after a month.. four missed appointments.. they came today. again, the nicest guy ever.. But, High maintenance. If you have time to micromanage and work at home.. perhaps this is the company for you.. BTW, got the bill today.. a month later.. had nerve to add additional cost for roofing new soffits. I have 4 palates not used.. asked him to pick up.. still in storage. extra cost, not happening..
