JP Painting & Remodeling

I find that the tech that comes is excellent. He is conscientious, respectful of my property, and does a good job. The price and quality are excellent. I like the guy who does the work, so he gets A's across the board. I would use them again just for pressure washing.

homeI recently purchased a rather large 5 BR home out of foreclosure with all walls painted the original builders white, and several nail pops, drywall ruts, etc.. I had experience w/ JPs in my last home, although it had been several years since I last used them. I had them come out for a quote, along with 2 other companies for comparison, as I knew this was a large job and wanted to make sure I didn't overpay.Needless to say, they were the least expensive, and I felt the best choice for us in terms of the expected quality. We were a bit overwhelmed with all the color options, so Ricky even brought out his designer who spent 2 hours with us going over the color schemes - we ended up using 9 or 10 different colors. She was amazing... My wife and I couldn't be any happier with the company, and the professionalism of the crew and foreman Ricardo. They did everything we asked, and much, much more. The house looks amazing, and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I would never use anyone else ever for any painting or remodeling project, and you are crazy if you don't use them.

They were on time and got it done really fast. They got it done in one day and the house looks great. They were very, very polite. If I have to have painting done again, I will probably call them. They were great. Their prices were good. I checked around multiple places and their prices were comparable. I would absolutely use them again.

I had heard much about Jose's Painting (or 'JP remodeling' is how the employees identify it, probably for rebranding purposes) Jose was able to meet me on the afternoon I called. He was punctual and professional and walked every room of the house with me. After walking the house he sat down and figured the estimate while I waited. He left me with a professional, comprehensive bid. I wanted to get a few other bids as I THOUGHT the JP bid was too high. After two other bids, it was obvious JP was the way to go. In addition to being the lowest bidder, he was also the most professional and clearly had the most crews of anyone. Still unsure of the colors, Jose went out of his way to meet me again to review paint samples. He helped me choose and then said he would have his interior designer call me to discuss if I was unsure. She called (from vacation) and discussed the color choices and matching. It was a very nice touch as this was only a rental house. The crew was scheduled and I met them there the first day. They dug in and had the job done in two days. The work was fantastic and the attention to detail was remarkable. The crew's foreman was attentive and asked follow-up questions to ensure he was doing what I wished to be done. Very impressive. I walked the house with the foreman and gave the all clear even though they were still finishing a few things. I did discover later they did not replace two AC registers and one switchplate before they left. I let the office know by way of their survey and they were in touch immediately. They offered to send someone out immediately to replace the registers and switchplate. It wasn't a big deal and I had already replaced them, but I really appreciated the attention to the customer. Excellent product and excellent customer service. In particular, Kudos to Claudia and Jose. The foreman as well but I do not remember his name. I don't think you can go wrong with JP.

Very fast, but sloppy. I am still looking at spots they missed in the kitchen, tape they left on the ceiling in the master bedroom, and stripes of the old paint along the trim pieces where the tape was removed. I would not use them again, but we were in a hurry.

We called Jose's Painting, who promptly came out the next day and gave us an estimate that we thought was very reasonable. Two days later, they had their crew show up early in the morning and completed all the interior painting in 2 days, which included inside the pantry, trim, and doors. Even though the home was completely empty, the painters used drop cloths in every room, over the stair rails and bath fixtures. To be honest, I was amazed at how fast they completed the job, while being quality conscious. We have recommended Jose's in the past and plan to use them to paint the exterior of our home this coming year.

There were 5 or 6 holes and I really couldn't tell unless I stared at it where the work was so they did a good job. The price was fair.

We have used this company three times. Twice for the same house and recently on a rental property. Every job have been well done and fairly priced.

Sometimes there were communication barriers however, the Foreman was excellent and there were no a communication barrier with them.

They were quick and got in and out. I personally think that I could have done a better job, but I am very picky. The edges of the walls were not very neat. They were not a straight line and I was a little disappointed with that. Overall though, the work was done well and I would use them again because they were convenient and reliable.

Showed up on time as stated. They wanted to know "where the paint was", explained the paint was to be provided and included in quote. I looked at there Order form and it had a blank check to a paint company. The workers didn't understand the full job scope and understood very little English. They were efficient and careful in covering furniture, etc. I was surprised when they started priming the bathroom where they were to remove the wall covering. I called the estimator and he called me back to say the wall covering was not coming down easy and wasn't primed underneath, so they had no choice but to prime and paint over it. The job was completed in 2 days and I was actually surprised at how good the bath room looked since they painted over the wall covering. I did discover some issues and called them back but they never came back to resolve the issue. Around the top of the shower was done very poorly and not caulked like other areas.

The crew arrived ready to go. They were professional and courteous during the entire job.

Terrible! They are very poor at returning calls-beware-you will have to continually follow up with them. Then I found out they farmed the job out! The person they subcontracted to was even worse then Jose's at returning calls! She kept leaving messages at odd hours, with no information except ''call me'', then never answering the phone.

Good experience with the estimator, and the price was right for the work promised. However, painters did not show up on the specified day, did not receive courtesy call to say they had to finish another job. Painters kept their nose to the grindstone when they came the next day, but did not not prep the louvered doors before painting. Doors were sprayed outside on a windy day; left a lot of white paint on the grass; cleaned equipment and brushes on the lawn by the front door and left paint can on the side of the yard. After looking over the ''completed'' job before they painters left, I pointed out the poor coverage on the doors, windows and walls and asked them to touch up, which they readily agreed to do. Next morning I took another look and found other areas that had not been properly done and called to have them return. It took two more days and two more days before they returned to finish the job, which is still not up to par.

This was a rental home, so I wasn't there when the estimate or the work was done, just an inspection afterward. I contacted them over the web, and they did not get the estimate to me in a timely fashion (I had to call twice!) That said, they did a good job of coordinating the work over the phone, and getting it done. I thought the roof and pressure wash price was a little high, but the convenience of having one company capable of doing all the work made it worth it for me.

They did the work as promised, on time, and on budget. I think it was a tad expensive but very well done.

We were very pleased with the job they did. They were professional and courteous. We had a misunderstanding as to the finish of the paint. I didn't realize it until the first coat had been put on the house. When I brought it to their attention they immediately told me they wanted me to be happy and went and purchased more paint in the finish I wanted. If I had any complaints at all it would be punctuality. They showed up days early to pressure wash (we weren't prepared with deck furniture etc...), then were a couple of days late starting the carpentry work. One day in the middle of the job they did not come at all with no explanation. This wasn't really a major problem for me as I'm home full time anyway, but I could see how it could be. I would say the quality of the job they did more than compensated for any minor inconveniences due to punctuality. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to friends and family.

I E-MAILED THE COMPANY ON MAY 31ST THINKING THAT THIS WOULD BE THE PREFERRED MANNER OF CONTACTING A COMPANY THAT BOASTED AN EXTENSIVE, SOPHISTICATED WEBSITE. I DIDN'T RECEIVE A RESPONSE. I GIVE AN OVERALL GRADE OF ''C,'' INSTEAD OF SOMETHING LOWER, BECAUSE I DIDN'T ATTEMPT MY OWN FOLLOW-UP BY PHONE BEFORE MOVING ON TO ANOTHER COMPANY.

I CALLED THEM, LEAVING A DETAILED MESSAGE, BUT NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM.

FELIPE LOPEZ WAS THE MAIN PERSON I DEALT WITH. A WORK CREW LEADER CAME WITH THE WORK CREW TO GET THEM STARTED, BUT DID NOT STAY AS HE ALSO HAD OTHER JOBS TO OVERSEE. THERE WAS A BIG COMMUNICATION PROBLEM DUE TO THEIR STRONG ACCENT. AS A RESULT OF THIS 12 GALLONS OF THE SIDING PAINT COLOR WERE INCORRECTLY MIXED AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE WORK WAS DONE OVER A 6-DAY PERIOD, WHEN WE HAD NO RAIN; HOWEVER, RAIN OCCURRED 2 DAYS AFTER THE PAINTING WAS COMPLETED AND A PROBLEM OCCURRED WITH THE PAINT; MOISTURE BLISTERS APPEARED OVER THE ENTIRE PAINTED SURFACE. THE PAINT USED WAS PORTER ACRI-SHIELD LOW TEMP PAINT. I CALLED THE PORTER PAINT COMPANY'S HOT LINE AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE BLISTERS WOULD GO AWAY WHEN THE WEATHER DRIED. SO FAR IT LOOKS OK, BUT TIME WILL TELL. FELIPE CAME TO CHECK THE PROBLEM AND STATED THAT IF FURTHER PROBLEMS DEVELOP BECAUSE OF THE BLISTERS THAT JOSE'S PAINTING WOULD DO WHAT EVER IS NECESSARY TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM, EVEN IF REPAINTING BECAME NECESSARY.

GOOD QUALITY WORK AT A GREAT PRICE.

AFTER CONTACTING NUMEROUS OTHER COMPANIES AND GETTING NO RESPONSE, JOSE'S WAS THERE THE DAY AFTER WE CALLED FOR THE ESTIMATE. THEY WERE READY TO GO TO WORK THE NEXT WEEK AND COMPLETED THE JOB IN TWO DAYS.

PUNCTUAL, SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, COMPLETED THE JOB FASTER THAN THEY ORIGINALLY QUOTED, AND WORKED WITH MY OTHER CONTRACTORS TO COMPLETE THEIR PORTION WITHOUT STOPPING PROGRESS OTHERWISE........

THE GENERAL QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS GOOD. THE RESPONSIVENESS AND PUNCTUALITY WERE GOOD. HOWEVER, THE FINISHING DETAILS OF THE WORK WERE UNSATISFACTORY. THE WORKERS DID NOT RETURN THE APPLIANCES THAT WERE MOVED TO PAINT THE KITCHEN TO THEIR ORIGINAL POSITION. THE VERTICAL WOOD BEAMS ON MY BACK PORCH WERE PAINTED, BUT THE BEAMS ON THE TOP OF MY BACK PORCH OVERHANG WERE LEFT UNPAINTED. THE WORKERS LEFT THEIR HOSE ON MY PROPERTY. I WAS LEFT WITH THE IMPRESSION THAT THE WORKERS LEFT THE JOB BEFORE IT WAS FULLY COMPLETED.
