Description of Work: Jose's sent a rep to give me an estimate. He was punctual, pleasant, and professional. The price he gave me was good, but he recommended less pre-painting woodwork than others did. The company is going by JP Painting and Remodeling at this time. JP uses Sherwin-Williams Superpaint. We have not yet decide which company we will use.

Description of Work: ASKED FOR AN ESTIMATE ON INTERIOR & EXTERIOR PAINTING. THEY ONLY QUOTED A SMALL PORTION OF THE PROJECT, AND HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO PHONE CALLS OR EMAIL REGARDING GETTING THE REST OF THE QUOTE. IF THEY HAD NO INTEREST IN DOING THE WORK, THEY SIMPLY SHOULD HAVE SAID SO IMMEDIATELY. I DON'T THINK THEY DESERVE EVEN A ''B'' RATING IF THEY WON'T RETURN A PHONE CALL. I CAN'T RATE THEM ON ANYTHING ELSE, BUT THIS LACK OF COMMON COURTESY IS DISTRESSING. LASTLY, I HAD TO WAIT SEVERAL DAYS TO GET AN INCOMPLETE ESTIMATE. THIS PROJECT IS WORTH OVER $1500.

+ 0 moreTHE ESTIMATOR WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, ALTHOUGH I FEEL WE PAID A LITTLE MORE THAN WE SHOULD HAVE FOR THE JOB. I HEARD SO MANY GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY THAT WE DECIDED TO GO WITH THEM REGARDLESS OF THE HIGHER PRICE. OUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELED DUE TO RAIN, WHICH IS UNDERSTANDABLE, BUT IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THEM TO RE-SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. LOTS OF "MAYBE WE'LL MAKE IT OUT ON FRIDAY" KIND OF THING, BUT NOTHING DEFINITE. AFTER TWO "MAYBE" APPOINTMENTS WHERE THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP, THEY FINALLY CAME OUT ON THE THIRD TRY. THE WORK BY THEIR CREW WAS AVERAGE. NO CLEAN LINES AND FINE PAINT DROPLETS ALL OVER OUR NEW DEAD BOLT AND DOORKNOB SETS, BUT AN ACCEPTABLE JOB ASIDE FROM THAT.
Description of Work: PRESSURE WASHED HOUSE, REMOVED AND REPLACED CAULKING AROUND DOORS, AND PAINTED THE SIDING AND TRIM OF THE HOUSE AND GARAGE.

THE PAINTING WAS ACCOMPLISHED ON TIME, BUT THE SEVERE WEATHER THAT OCCURRED THE SAME DAY MAY HAVE EFFECTED THE OVERALL OUTCOME. ONLY TIME WILL TELL. SINCE THE WORK IS GUARANTEED FOR FIVE YEARS, I AM CONFIDENT THAT IF ANY PROBLEMS ARISE, IT WILL BE RECTIFIED.
Description of Work: WE HAD THE ENTIRE HOUSE PRESSURE WASHED IN PREPARATION FOR PAINTING. ALL THE WINDOWS WERE RE-CHALKED PRIOR TO PAINTING. THEY PAINTED ALL THE WOOD TRIM ON WINDOWS, DOORS AND GARAGE ON FRONT OF HOUSE WITH PORTER PAINTS EXTERIOR GLOSS WHITE WITH MICROBAN. THE WORK HAS BEEN GUARANTEED FOR FIVE YEARS.

+ 1 moreGREAT PAINTING RESULT. SEVERAL TIMES CONTACT PERSON FAILED TO SHOW AFTER ARRANGING APPOINTMENT. USED ITEMS OUT OF SHED AND GARAGE WITHOUT PERMISSION, THEN DID NOT PUT BACK. HAD TO CALL TO GET ONE ELECTRICAL CORD RETURNED. HOUSE LOOKS NEW, FEW SPILLS. I NEVER KNOW WHEN THEY WOULD SHOW UP, BUT THE JOB WAS DONE IN ONE WEEK. MIDWAY THROUGH JOB, THEY SUGGESTED I NEEDED GUTTERS CLEANED (I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE PART OF PRESSURE WASHING). I PAID EXTRA $75 TO HAVE ONE OF THE PAINTERS DO IT.
