It was rather short call. After I told him what I expected from a buyers agent and price I can afford, I was told that he will not work with me. I was told that he is the best and has many clients. I am thinking perhaps he has too many clients.

My mom passed away last March, and I needed to sell her condo. I searched Anglieslist and found Gary Mesnick on the top of the search. So I called him up last May. Gary came to my condo (which was right next to my mom's condo) the same weekend. He had all the research done (comp and stuff) and he had lots of materials to present to me. I was very impressed with the extensive homework he had done. As we all know, it is almost impossible to sell a condo in this market. Gary didn't give up on me. He had a professional photographer came out to take pictures of the condo, made CDs to pass out, made a YouTube video, and of course posted the condo on all the real estate websites. You name it, he has done it. We had couple offers, but they fell through because my condo association was extremely uncooperative, and let the HFA loan application expired. After 7 months, I almost gave up. But Gary did not. I finally got a cash offer and everything else is history. I am still amazed that Gary was able to sell my suburban condo in 8 months, in this crazy market! Now since my partner and I are starting a family, we are looking for a single family home to grow into. It is a no brainer that I will use Gary again, I trust him. Hopefully more people will have the pleasure to work with him too.

In choosing Gary Mesnick as our real estate agent, we definitely made the right choice. Gary was very patient throughout the process (even when we ran into a few bumps in the road). He showed us over 40 houses and was always willing to work around our busy schedules. Gary did an excellent job communicating with us and keeping us informed throughout the process. To whom it may concern, I was offered job in Atlanta and was given 2 weeks to report. I accepted the job with the expectation of either sleeping in the car or driving 5 hours round trip each day (if Atlanta?s traffic agreed). Gary was recommended by a friend of my wife?s. I contacted him, and told him I was not able to buy a house yet, and could he recommend a rental agent. Gary offered to help personally. He asked for no compensation only that ?IF? I was able to sale my home in Florida, and ?IF? I was still working in Atlanta at that time?that I would allow him to be my agent. For me, that was an easy promise. Gary made the process very easy. He sent me listings in my budget to review and kept me updated daily. We met in Atlanta, and he drove me around Atlanta looking at homes. As, happens so often, it was late and I was getting frustrated; I was prepared to give in to that long daily drive when Gary suggested ??one last one on the list.? And, that home was perfect. I don't expect one to be naïve, Gary did get a ?finder?s? fee. Which I happen to see ?on purpose,? and I can assure everyone that it did not cover the gas used or the time and effort spent assisting me with the search--he even managed the leasing paperwork for me. Gary did all of this based off the ?promise? of a complete stranger (me). I can?t wait until I am in the market for a ?new home.? If Gary worked this hard for ?nothing? It went excellent. He's very professional. He's also very communicative; he keeps you informed. Every time we had a viewing he would call the other realtor and get feedback from the realtor. He's proactive. They day before closing, my sister's husband had surgery, and Gary actually went to the hospital, picked her up, and brought her to the closing attorney's office. He really went above and beyond.

Gary is a fantastic agent. He helped my boyfriend and I find a great home in our budget and target neighborhood. We looked for a long time but he was never impatient or unwilling to take us to viewings. He always greeted us with a smile and answered all of our questions about the homes. At long last we found our dream home, and his suggestion that we get a home warrantee has since saved us a LOT of money! His email updates really kept us informed, since I liked looking for homes over the internet. Overall Gary is just a great person to work with and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Gary was referenced via co-worker's recommendation. We established communication approximately 5 months prior to the move. Gary was able to set up an web-based search engine ("gateway") to allow my family to view only the houses in our desired areas . . . school districts. Gary blocked out most of full week for my wife and family to facilitate the house hunting visit. Once we decided on a house, Gary worked LONG hours (we were faxing documents at midnight) to help negotiate an agreeable contract. Time was critical and the negotiation process was hampered by the seller not using a "full service" agent. Without Gary's experience, willingness to make the phone calls and put in the long hours the process could have been a lot more stressful and potentially unsuccessful. We closed in 3 wks. Gary has a long list of vendors that he shares with his clients (i.e., home inspector, electrician, cleaning service, . . . , mortgage brokers). It went very well our house sold in a relatively short time during a very bad market.

We met Gary before we listed our home. He gave us numerous helpful suggestions about how to position our home to its full advantage. After taking his suggestions, we met again and he carefully explained the comps to us. Together, after much research on Gary’s part, we then came up with a listing price. Next, he hired a professional photographer to show our home at its best on the FMLS and GMLS in photos and in a virtual tour. He also used a designer for our full color custom flyer and virtual tour CDs. We were impressed by his attention to every detail. He was very busy with other clients, both buying and selling, but treated us as if we were his most important client. His marketing plan, syndicating to at least 300 websites, worked immediately and we were approached by a number of buyers, even in these trying times. WOW! I got an INCREDIBLE deal from Gary. I was looking to buy my second house after living in my home for over 25 years. Gary listed our home and within a few days we had an offer. Gary worked out any and all problems quickly and to our satisfaction. He is really knowledgeable about the real estate market in this economy, which gave us a lot of confidence in him. He took care of us at every turn and we felt he was really on our side.
