I am so pleased to write this letter about Gary Mesnick, a very experienced and professional real estate agent in the Atlanta. GA area that was referred to me by a friend who had recently worked with him. My friend raved about him. After I interviewed him I was certain that i had made the right decision and we would work well together. I have bought and sold many houses in the past, but never had an experience such as the one I had with Gary. I would like to start this review stating that we were first time home buyers and did not have much knowledge on the real estate business. We engaged Gary and I am so impressed that I will be definitely engaging him in my future real estate transactions. This is our second time working with Gary. Two years have passed since the first time we worked with Gary when we walked away with exactly what we needed with the payments we needed. He truly made us feel as though we were his only client. There was never any pressure to buy or move along. He wanted us to again find exactly what we wanted. This is our 5th time buying a home. We have been through the drill before. We want this for "x" price. An Agent supplies us with a list and off we go to look. Pick one out, make an offer, and we are done. Nice people with good intentions - BUT now that we have worked with Gary, we realize how truly lucky we were to have never bought a "money pit" or worse. Gary Mesnick has been great! I'm in the process of organizing my cousins house to put up for sale and Gary has been with me every step of the way. From how to arrange furniture to what to keep in the house and what to take out. He's been very patience and understanding with me since this is a bitter sweet decision to sale the house due to my cousins illness. I will recommend Gary Mesnick to all of my family and friends!

Gary could not have been more helpful in our search for a new home. Moving from out of state has its obvious challenges, but Gary did everything he could to make the process as painless as possible. He was very organized and punctual when meeting him for showings. He was always very patient with us, as it took us many months to find a house, and never was rushing us or pushing us into any decisions. Gary walked us through every step of every process to make sure everything was understood. He was very thorough in checking up and making sure everything was lined up correctly during the whole contract, inspection, and closing process. We listed our house with a company that turned out to be an aid for a for sale by owner sale. Gary helped us tremendously even though he was the buyers agent for the sale of our house. Being first time home buyers, we really had no idea where to start. We found Gary through Angie's list, and were rather impressed with all his reviews - and he lived up to the expectations. We never felt pressure from Gary to look at, or make an offer on any particular property. He gave us objective opinions on all the properties we saw, including the positives and the negatives, but only after letting us express our own opinions. Looking back, we saw some real duds, but it took a while for us to realize what a good house looked like in our price range. Other people have said this before, but we really felt like we were his only client. I don't know how he does it! Gary also made handling the ridiculous amount of paperwork seem easy. All our phone calls were immediately returned, and he was always very pleasant to talk to. Once we chose our home, Gary offered some excellent tips and advice on maintaining and handling things around the house. All in all, we would definitely recommend Gary to our friends and family.

Gary helped us in the home buying process through a very difficult market for buyers. We looked at dozens of homes until we found something we were satisfied with at a price we could afford. Our first offer fell through due to undisclosed issues with the house. He advised us to abandon the offer even though it was not in his financial interest. We eventually found a house that satisfied all our criteria and had no serious issues. The appraisal contingency and home buyers protection plan that Gary puts on every offer helps take some of the anxiety out of the home purchase. We had occasion to use the protection plan due to low freon in the AC. It costs $60 per visit but that's the maximum you pay no matter what the issue is. Gary is a very busy agent so you may have to schedule home viewings a few days in advance. When it came time for putting the paperwork for the offer together he was very responsive though.

I recently purchased a home with Gary Mesnick as my Real Estate Agent. Right from the beginning, he was extremely organized. He identified the areas of town I wanted to live in and the amenities that I wanted. He set me up on an Electronic Gateway so I could view the properties in my price range and desired neighborhoods. It went fantastic. Our home was a very hard house to sell because it had quite a few problems. He was a very good agent, worked through everything with us and communicated with other realtors. He was honest and professional and it was a great pleasure to work with them. I met Gary Mesnick in the late 1970's or early 1980's. Gary and his agent put a contract on one of my listings. Gary had his own computer company at this time. We had some problems with Gary's real estate agent and with his loan officer. But did get the listing closed. A few years later, Gary called me to list his home and I was asked to shop around for a home for he Ellen who were engaged. I sold Gary's house and found a home that he and Ellen liked. Gary and I became good friends after he got that listing. My husband and I have shared many family affairs with them. After retiring from 33 years in the real estate business my husband had a rental property that he wanted to sell. The property had some problems and was not an easy property to sell. Gary and I wanted to be completely honest with the problems that this house had with potential buyers. Gary has established a reputation as being an extremely honest person and going above and beyond other real estate agents. This being our first house hunt/purchase, we really didn?t know what to expect when we began the process. We tried our best to read first-time home buyer books and did an insane amount of research on the internet. We stumbled upon Gary on Angie?s List and were very impressed with his ratings/feedback. We had been looking on Trulia for months and had a good idea of what we were looking for, so when we sat down with Gary and he explained that we had the house hunt in our hands, we knew he was right for us. We thought all realtors picked the houses to view and this made us nervous. Being able to browse the FMLS/List Book websites and select the houses that fit our family was easy, time-saving and exactly our style. Gary set up all of the showings and was completely honest at every single one. He always arrived early to drive around the neighborhoods and walk through the houses before we checked it all out. He advised us when he saw potential issues with a house and guided us through the entire negotiation process when we finally found the house of our dreams! He was meticulous with reminder emails; letting us know about upcoming appointments, things to be done, and tips for the first-time buyer. He even came with recommended lenders and home insurance companies, which was amazing because we did not have a great experience with these two home-buying aspects until we called his guys! We are very happy to have worked with Gary Mesnick in buying our first home. He made us feel comfortable right from the start.
