+ -1 moreWe had just installed a new hot tub to replace our old one and paid the electrician $250 to reconnect in the same location. A few weeks later, my wife and I decided to change to a location by about 8 feet so we contacted Mike with Fredric Electric to do the work, Mike came by on March 23rd and cut the wires so we could move the tub, after we moved the tub we called him back to reconnect it, Mike decided we needed additional work done without asking, boy were we surprised when he gave us the bill, it was $1030.50..... WOW I could have never imagined $1000 to reconnect a hot tub, I have been a home owner for over 40 years and hired many electricians and never been so disappointed.
Description of Work: Buyer beware! Dealing with Fredric Electric has been one of the worst experiences in my 40 years as a homeowner!

+ -1 moreWhile there, he checked and found that the wiring for the two bathrooms were on the master bedroom's circuit, and were not sufficient, plus wires were showing signs of excessive heat. A blow dryer in one and a couple lights on were all it would take for disaster. So he fixed it all ... so happy!
Description of Work: He replaced a wobbly ceiling fan, including the box in the ceiling.

+ -1 moreMike was wonderful. He did everything to perfection. He was very neat with the wires behind the TV and in the attic. He cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend him to everyone. He and his wife run the business, are heavily involved in church charity work including electrical work for those less fortunate. I will definitely call him whenever I have an electrical need.
Description of Work: Moved an electrical outlet in the floor 3 - 4 feet so it would be under the sofa. This involved a day of removing a slot of concrete and creating another outlet. Dropped cable down behind the wall above the fireplace and behind the big screen TV. Regrounded cable in the attic. Dropped 2 ceiling lights to the appropriate level.

Description of Work: Circuit break in a constant trip condition. Michael responded quickly to a request for service. He diagnosed the problem to be in the Master Bedroom and then methodically worked through the wiring connections to isolate the problem to be one section of wiring that had a short. His work was very professional and very reasonable in price. I will use Fredrik Electrical on my future electrical projects.
