Description of Work: Fleming Carpet Distributors were out for a quote back in the spring. They gave me a quote for a solid hardwood floor.

 + -1 moreI was very happy with Fleming. I visited their Marietta showroom several times prior to my closing date to pick styles and discuss pricing. Their salespeople (Amanda, I believe ... and Brett) were friendly and natural, and I didn't feel pressured to buy carpet I couldn't afford. Brett came to visit and performed the inspection. I scheduled carpet installation on a Friday (the day after I closed) so that I could start moving during the weekend, and I was impressed that they could lay my entire townhome's carpet in one day. My only complaint is that I had to pester them about payment, which isn't really much of a complaint. After installation it was a few weeks before they had an invoice ready. Also, the Armstrong contractors that performed the installation had pretty rough English skills, so it was difficult to convey instructions to them, but they did a good job and were very quick.
Description of Work: Removed all the existing old carpet from my furniture-free new townhome, then installed new Shaw carpet in its place. Total square footage was roughly 1200. Also provided 12-month interest-free financing (in the form of a Mohawk GE Money credit card) for the total price.

 + -1 moreWith the exception of early closing time, 5:30 each day, we found the storefront experience to be excellent with many samples and helpful staff. In fact it was this experience that kept us on course with this company after several estimates from other providers. The installers completed the job in one day. Two guys, one obviously in charge and with good communication skills. I was disappointed that the rep did not show up on that day to kick things off and review some details that we had discussed. I was disappointed that there was not a single scrap of material left over. There was 10% extra ordered. There was no follow up from this company after the install. Not required, but it would have been nice to get a phone call.
Description of Work: 640 square feet of flooring purchased and installed. All prepwork was done by me beforehand. The Fleming rep did visit twice during this preparation to advise on technical issues with this prep work. that consisted of carpet and parquet style tile associated underlayment removal, repairs to sub-floor and installation of new plywood underlayment throughout. Th install did not include baseboards or shoe mold. But the shoe mold (stained to match the flooring) was part of the purchase.

 + -1 moreFleming Carpet Distributors came on time and did an excellent job on the installing the new carpet. I'm very happy with the way everything looks. I also thought their price was very reasonable. I would definitely give them top grades and refer them to friends.
Description of Work: I had them replace the carpet in 4 bedrooms and a hallway.
