Juan, the owner/operator, is fabulous! Quick response from initial call; kept me in loop on his way to house/etc. Was on time and very professional. Did not try to upsell anything other than what was needed to eliminate fire hazards. Reasonable cost for the job well done.

It was great, he was professional, on time, and educated me by pointing out in the manual that Lowes had me purchase the wrong vent connection behind the dryer. The manual clearly stated that if I had used the aluminum vent it could have caused a fire. I would definitely call him again, and refer him to family and friends.

Juan returned my call within 90 minutes and was able to schedule me for later the same day. When he was heading my way, he called with a 30 minute notice as requested. He inspected all aspects of the exiting venting for the dryer and recommended that it be redone. The original contractor used incorrect materials when building our home and most others in the neighborhood. Juan completed the work within about 2.5 hours. His work was very neatly done and he cleaned up every bit of debris. Professional, thorough and fastidious essentially describe Juan and his work. I highly recommend him.

Bought the Big Deal off Angie's List. The provider did not return calls or emails. Never responded or showed up for anything. Total waste of time and Angie's list customer service was no help at all. Lost faith not only in this company, but in Angie's List for sponsoring a Big Deal with this company and then not backing it up. I expected more from both.

The technicial cleaned our dryer vent (ours is very long - over 30 feet) and after inspecting the ductwork, suggested and installed a and quot;booster fanand quot; in the dryer vent as it goes through the attic due to extensive length the air/lint need to flow to get out of the house. He also reattached the dryer to the vertical vent with a non-flexible hose to provide better airflow. Our dryer is now much more efficient (dries clothes a lot faster) and we aren't worried about fires due to clogged venting. The technician was courteous, ontime and very knowledgeable.

The end results were good but it took multiple visit and a call for another helper to complete the job. The repairman who did the estimate was not prepared to intall the roof vent without asssistance and had to return a second day. I felt the cost (as extimated) of more than 800 dollars was high once I saw the effort and material required.

Juan Perez arrived promptly and was very professional. We had several other contractors tell us there were no options or limited options for our dryer vent reroute; but Juan Perez came up with several solutions and explained each fully. The option we chose involved cutting through concrete. He had all necessary tools and supplies to complete the job on the spot. We would highly recommend Juan Perez. He truly is the Dryer Vent Wizard!

I called the company. They were responsive and timely in showing up for the job. I expected the entire vent would need to be replaced since the house was built in 1958. He gave me the cost to replace the entire line and bring a new attachment to the dryer. He completed the job that day in a few hours. The vent has worked well since the replacement.

We just bought this house, and the previous owners had run an absurd and dangerous vent snaking through the attic. Juan came up with his recommendation quickly and installed the new vent the same day, within just a couple of hours. Our dryer now works better than it ever has, even in our old house where it had a short, straight vent. We can dry a load of towels in 20 minutes. We are thrilled with the results and would not hesitate to recommend and use this company again.

We had just moved in and my dryer stopped working. The laundry room has two dryer hookups and both were packed with lint. (I had noticed the previous owner had 2 dryers set up.) We discovered one of the reasons the vents were so packed is because when the house was built the vent installers had failed to remove the screens where the lint comes out. I can't recall the name of the gentleman who came out but he removed the screens (up on the roof) and I had him blow out both vents in case I want to use two dryers in the future. I also had him upgrade the vent hoses in the back of the dryers to something sturdier. The price was $151 for each dryer vent cleaning, $69 for each transition connection in back of dryer, and $135 to remove both screens. There was a $39 fee to come out. He was very professional and arrived right on time. I will use them in the future for maintenance.

Juan called me back the same day as my initial call to him, and scheduled an appointment within a day or two. He was professional and punctual. He made some suggestions as to the placement of the new vent, and I took his word for it based upon the excellent reviews I had read. Since I am female and of retirement age, I had no intention of getting up into the attic to check things out or any knowledge of how it should be anyway. Additionally, since I read such excellent reviews on Angie's List, I had a higher level of trust in him than I might have someone else. He finished the work in about two and a half hours. He cleaned up after himself and left no mess. I would highly recommend him to others. I thought his fees a bit high, but under the circumstances didn't feel like shopping around. The work is under a warranty, so I felt comfortable with the price. I also felt comfortable with Juan. I did not feel that I was being and quot;taken advantage ofand quot; as an older woman. My experience in life is that you get what you pay for. The only problem that arose after he left was that the vent detached from the dryer. I don't believe he put any type of clamp on the dryer end. If you can, be sure to check behind him. Normally I would have called him to come back to the house and fix that, but since I new the Sears installers had to do the same thing, I suffered for a week or so without a dryer. In the time my old dryer was working, I noticed the clothes were getting dryer much faster. I recommend his work highly.

The owner was the one who did the service. He was very sweet, prompt, professional, etc. He explained what he was doing, showed us the bad pump, and was in and out in no time. I have posted a good review of this company on our HOA website and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I contacted them after seeing the reviews on Angie's list. Juan set up the appointment quickly and came to our home several days later. He called ahead to confirm and showed up on time. He was very neat and professional and completed the job in about an hour.He removed over 3 gallons of lint ,so my advice is to get your dryer vent cleaned so that you do not trash the dryer or burn down your house!

Overall I was very pleased with Juan (the owner). Very nice fellow and seemed conscientious. I think the prices could be lower, but I don't have any issues with the quality of the work. I guess it's cheaper than a house fire. I definitely would recommend Juan to others.

My 12 year old house had a leak in the dining room ceiling around the chandelier base; dropping water droplets periodically onto the table. 'Periodically' whenever I ran the dryer that is. I had my home insurance inspector and a leak detection specialist come out to research the problem. They traced it back to the dryer exhaust vent; which (to my knowledge) had never been cleaned and was full of lint (upon inspection from behind the dryer, and from the external vent). I called Dryer Vent Wizard and Juan and Alex came out the next day. They looked in the dryer exhaust vent, from both inside the house and from the external vent, also took photos inside the vent to see the lint build-up. They counted a high number of 5 'elbows/bends' in the venting, which is against the building code (2 max per 25 feet), and also said this would limit a thorough vent cleaning; which they did not recommend. Instead, they recommended an all-new exhaust vent be installed with only 2 elbows/bends - which could be done easily vertically through the wall and out through the attic (for only $100 more than the non-recommended cleaning). This all-new venting would 1) eliminated the leak into the dining room ceiling, 2) be much safer with no lint build-up thus reducing a fire hazard and 3) be much easier to clean with only 2 elbow bends in the venting. I noticed that Juan and Alex took great pride in their workmanship; making sure all minor dents were smoothed out of all the venting, being meticulous at the caulking around all holes and the the new exterior vent, and even 'patching' the drywall back behind the dryer so as not to leave a large hole. They cleaned/vacuumed lint and dust as they worked and left my laundry area lint-free! They seemed to take as much care with my repair as they would for their own houses; which is very impressive and exactly what a customer wants! Juan and Alex were very personable and professional. Overall this was a very good repair experience. I highly recommend Dryer Vent Wizard's services, and I would use them again.

I got this company name from Angie's List. I called on a Monday. The phone was actually answered by a person (Juan Perez). Estimate/work was scheduled for a one hour window on Thursday. I got a call that the service provider (Juan) was on the way (and on time). He inspected the existing situation, which was not easy since my washer and dryer are tightly sandwiched into a bedroom-level laundry "room." He was able to show me pictures he took of my exterior dryer vent (screened for animals--mistake--and clogged). He gave me an estimate for the work (based on franchise-set pricing) and did it. He replaced the foil duct from the dryer to the wall with rigid duct work. He cleaned the duct work to the outside and replaced the outside vent. He came equipped with the extension ladder he needed for the outside work. He performed before and after tests of the speed of the air flow and the temperature and showed me a picture of the replaced outdoor vent. The whole process was very straight forward and professional.

Our dryer has not been drying clothes in the set time for a few years, seeming to get worse each year. I called the service to setup a $39 service appointment. Juan Perez arrived on time for the appointment. He surveyed the existing system determining it to be insufficient. The previous general contractor had used PVC that created a moisture problem. Juan surveyed the laundry room, basement and attic to determine the best route out of the laundry room. He chose the rear wall, the shortest route with the least turns. He provided an estimate for the work. I agreed on the price. He started work immediately. He also recommended the roofer and placed a call to the roofer. Juan completed all the work that day except the final mudding of the walls, painting, and the roof connection until the next day, because the roofer was unavailable due to rain. The final product was very good. Juan was hard working, courteous, and friendly.

We just bought a new dryer. It has a sensor to check airflow. When we noticed an error message, we called Dryer Vent Wizard. Little did we know we had problems besides a clogged vent. Our builder made two mistakes regarding our dryer venting system. The screen on the outside vent caused lint to build up and clog the system. They also failed to secure the piping to the vent. If the piping ever fell off the vent, our lint would be falling off into our attic which is a fire hazard. Lastly, our laundry room is very small and the dryer hose to the wall was curved and kinked. Juan looked up in our attic to check the piping, got on our roof to remove the screen, educated us about how to make your venting efficient, and had all the right equipment to do the job professionally. The next week we had a new dryer installed because of problems with the previous machine. The delivery guy ruined the hookup and wanted to use a flexible hose. Juan came back and fixed it at no charge. Thank you, Juan!
