Dixon Painting Inc

After two hours of waiting and lack of response to my calls, I gave up. I would not recommend them. The project was never undertaken.

We used Dixon before for interior painting (referred by several neighbors), and they promptly returned my call and Bicet met us at our home on time and did a thorough estimate and explained the details in a friendly and easy to understand way. When we started the job, Dixon sent out 2 crews to quickly handle all repairs, which were more extensive than what we thought, but Bicet provided a very fair estimate to fix. Dixon's exceptionally friendly, clean and knowledgeable crews along with its by-hand painting degree of detail is awesome to watch. Literally, I was looking for something wrong and could not find one thing on this extensive job. The job took about 4 days; they arrived early, were very courteous, kept the yard clean during and after each long day. Rarely have I experienced such complete satisfaction. Even when I found a slight item after completion, they came right back out and fixed it, no questions asked. We feel great about our freshly painted home!

They came in on time and were very friendly. I thought they had an excellent quality of work and I found their prices to be fair for the work they did for me. I thought they did a very good job.

This experience left a lot to be desired. The painters we dealt with were not professional at all. They didn't prep properly, they were sloppy, and dripped paint everywhere. They re-hung shutters, but we found the top of the shutters to not have been painted. They were not interested in meeting our needs on this project. The only positive thing I can say is they showed up when they said they were going to.

I liked them because they came when they were supposed to, did exactly what they had said they would do, and cleaned after themselves. Their price was reasonable, but not the cheapest. They did a very good job overall.

They did a fantastic job painting my house and I really like how it looks now. It didn't take them long to finish and the quality of their work was spectacular. I was really pleased with the work they did.

After they finished cleaning up and leaving I noticed one of my windows was leaking. I had an engineer friend from across the street look at it and they said it was caused by a cut from a paint cleaning tool. I called Dixon to find out what they could do to perhaps fix or compensate me for the damages and I haven't heard back from them since. I am very upset at the unresponsiveness and the poor quality this amounted to, because the paint job was nice, but by not backing up the mistake they made is causing me a hassle I'd rather not have. I won't recommend them and won't use them again.

I was very satisfied with the work performed by this company. They painted my house and left it in great shape. The walls look great and so does everything else they painted. I couldn't be happier for hiring this company.

The thing I liked the best about this company is that you don't pay until you are pleased with their work. If anything goes wrong they will fix it. They used rollers on one of the doors when they should have used a brush, but they came back out and stripped it off and repainted it. They were on time and cleaned up everything. They are a very honest company. I did have a little bit of a language barrier with some of the workers, but the foreman was here to translate.

They were fast in getting the work done and they responded promptly to my original call. I thought they were professional and courteous.

They asked to come on Memorial Day in the morning - their request, not mine. I finally got a hold of someone the next day. When I looked them up on the BBB website they were not even listed as being a member of this organization which they claim to be.

Dickinson just did a fantastic job of painting our home after it was victimized by a tornado. They were friendly, punctual and affordable. We would be happy to send business their way. They are a great company in my eyes.

Dixon is an awesome company to use for painting. They are extremely neat, clean up very well, and don't hesitate in telling you everything they are going to do before they actually do it. One of the nicest aspects of this company s professionalism is their respect of the time they actually paint versus our homes daily routine. They go out of their way to be as inconspicuous as possible, and we were very happy with this.

They did a fantastic job. In fact, they did better job than any other painter we have used before. They missed a couple spots that were not that noticeable. However, I wanted them painted , so they came right back out to paint those spots for me. They did the job quickly and did a good job cleaning up before they left each day.

I was given estimates by two different companies and I went with Dixon because I could tell he was experienced and he knows what he is doing. He gave me a quote and stuck to it. He also let me keep the left-over supplies.

Detailed estimate provided. Brian Soto answered questions promptly when called for more detail. The final cost was $300 due to additional rotted wood that was found. Workers arrived on time and worked diligently and professionally. Quality of work appears to be very good. The front door had two-tone paint originally, so we called them and they came back a week or so later, no questions asked, to complete the work.

I was so impressed! His crew of 5 worked 2 full days of scraping, sanding and preparing my walls and ceiling, before painting it 2 coats at the end of the 2nd day. They also moved everything out and back. They wanted to do it right this time --- and they did a beautiful job. I was not charged a penny. Would I use them again? In a heartbeat!

The paint on the house was neglected by previous owner and needed some significant help. Dixon painting scraped all peeling paint and primed areas. A full coat of paint was then applied to the exterior and trim. They paid attention to every detail from start to finish and did an excellent job. The house looks great.

Great. The representative/crew leader spoke perfect English so I was able to communicate everything I needed. He was very respectful and professional. They got started very quickly and were done very quick. The prep work appeared to be very thorough. The paint came out great. I would highly recommend.

They are not reliable or professional. I have a 5 year contract with them and they will not come back out to make repairs to the cracking paint. I have called them and they will not return my calls and don't show up.

Over all the company did a good job. My complaint was that no company representative visited the work site to check the work progress and to resolve problems. I had to call the company and was less than cordial to get a company representative to come the the house to resolve a problem with the painting. I resolved two other problems with the work crew.

This was not a good experience for me from start to finish. I chose Dixon because I wanted first-rate work, and this was just a very sloppy job. They did exactly what they said they would, and not one thing more. Yes, they pressure washed the house prior to painting, BUT they didn't remove the screens, so the window sills didn't get clean, and some of the dirt and bugs got splashed up onto the screens, which they put back on in this exact condition at the end of the job. They painted over the dirt and, by the way, they don't do windows. Yes, they scraped away the most obvious bits of peeling paint, BUT they didn't sand those areas, so it won't be long before they are peeling again. They quoted one coat of paint and then decided I needed two, so the job went up by $1,000--that's 25% folks! I had to withhold the check and call them back to do basic things like re-scrape the windows (since there was still a lot of paint on them) and remove the paint drips from my front porch.

My experience did not mirror other Angie's member's. Overall the work was performed well. However, language barriers and incomplete estimates were extremely frustrating. Antonio, the project manager, was very good. However, he could not speak English so I constantly had to repeat myself on what I wanted done. The estimate was incomplete and misleading, so I was immediately told that I would have to pay more than originally agreed upon. The "corporate office" had no clue what was going on. I'm not exactly sure how this company is structured, but it seemed that the estimator, painting crew, and corporate voice, all were working independently. Good customer service and communication up front would have resulted in a much higher rating. Also, this company is cash/check only. Which was a huge surprise to me that such a large company works on a cash-only basis. They demanded "on-the-spot" payment, which may be normal, but I like receipts and invoices, adds legitimacy.

Jairo explained clearly what they would do. The work was performed in a very timely manner and the clean-up was neatly done. They replaced all screens and closed and locked all windows. I am very pleased.

Excellent. They showed up when they said they would, did the job and left before we returned in the evening. Super job. Will call them back to do the trim for the remainder of the house next spring.
