Description of Work: This is in addition to a report filed on 1/1/2012. Fernando Dixon called me on 1/3/2012 upon his return from a 2 week trip. He said that I had actually spoken to Alberto on 12/21/2011. He apologized profusely for the previous actions and stated numerous times that customer satisfaction remains a component of the Dixon Painting Company. Due to him taking the time to respond to the situation and caring about our customer/service relationship and our past experience with this company over an 8 year period, we are rescheduling the job with Dixon Painting. I stated to Fernando that my particular situation should be addressed and communicated to the Dixon employees. Fernando sent his 'top" team to complete the second part of an interior painting job and they did an outstanding job. I only wish that this had happened on our on our original set date. I was pleased that we gave Dixon Painting a second chance. Thank you!

Description of Work: Dixon called me first, and since we are hoping to paint this summer, I agreed to have them come and do an estimate. The representative was punctual and professional. The estimate seemed fair. The rep has called back regularly to see if we are ready to start. We have not selected Dixon yet, and I have been a bit irritated by his calling back so often. At least we know they want the business.

Description of Work: THEY PAINTED THE ENTIRE INTERIOR OF HOUSE (DEN, DINING, KITCHEN, HALLWAY, 2 BATHROOMS, AND 3 BEDROOMS. THE WORK REQUIRED A LOT OF PATCHWORK ON THE WALLS, PAINTING OF ALL WALLS, ALL TRIM, AND A FEW CEILINGS.

THERE WERE SEVERAL SPOTS I HAD TO ASK TO BE TOUCHED UP, BUT THEY DID IT PROMPTLY. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THEY DIDN'T GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO PICK UP A PIECE OF LATTICE THAT FELL OVER, OR MOVE A SPA COVER THAT WAS IN THE WAY; THEY JUST LET IT LIE AND DIDN'T CLEAN IT. THE PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN SOME PAINTING CONTRACTORS HAD ESTIMATED IN CONNECTION WITH DOING ADDITIONAL PAINTING, BUT COMPARABLE TO ANOTHER ESTIMATE FOR DECK WORK ONLY.
