Very average experience. High on promises - low on delivery. Sloppy workmanship, spilled paint everywhere, and some of the workers had a bad attitude.

They did a nice job with the painting. However the crew foreman added on one small extra repair then tried to charge an inordinate amount for it. They also replaced some wood siding that did not match my siding, the foreman told me "they don't make it anymore". That night, I drove to my neighborhood building supply company and they had my siding in stock. It took about 15 phone calls, but they replaced the siding to match. If it was not for this one dishonest foreman, I would have given this company a good rating. The salesman was very good as were the laborers.

After several weather-related delays, Freddy and a large crew completed the work in less than three days. Their work lived up to their reputation. They did a wonderful job. The company that followed them to put up new gutters commented on the good job Dixon had done. I fully agree. They were cooperative, neat, reliable, and courteous. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I had one much lower estimate, but I'm glad I decided to go with Dixon. Their carpentry work especially was beautifully done.

Got three quotes and Dixon was in the middle. They were the only to propose hand-brushing. The estimator took time to walk me around the property so I could see what needed to be done. He originally quoted Sherwin Williams Super Paint, but I negotiated Duration for just a little more hoping that one coat would be sufficient. Unfortunately, we still needed two. They were able to schedule project start for less than a week from acceptance. Since they were quoting Sherwin Williams paint, I went to the closest SW store and asked the manager if he had dealings with any of the quoting firms. He only recognized Dixon and said they did a lot of work in the area. English speaking project manager was on site for the five days it took to complete the work, and did a great job of keeping me informed. Siding needed two coats and the extra charge was far less than I feared. All in all, a great experience. I hope to have Dixon out this winter to paint the interior.

The sales rep prepared a detailed list of work to be done. There was a bit of confusion about the starting date, but when this was cleared up, crews showed up as promised. Excellent job by professionals. Hard working, respectful, and a pleasure to have around.

Dave Dixon called us mid September to see if we wanted an estimate since they were in the area. We had been thinking about getting the inside painted and set up a date for someone to come out. Their rep showed up on time and was very polite but after he went out to his truck to complete the estimate he came back and said he was missing one thing to complete it and could he come back early the following week. We again set up a date and time and never saw him again. I have since then sent two emails via Angie's List asking them to contact me and once again there has been no response from the company.

Did a very good job. Quality of work was excellent. Price was a little higher, but with a 5 year warranty I decided to go with them. Only issue I had with them was they threw paint cans and other trash down my backyard slope.

Pleasant and quick. A large crew so they were in and out in a few days. Cleaned up after themselves.

Left message to get estimate. Got no response.

I was very pleased with this paint company. Luis Fernandex, the field manager, was on time, polite, professional and explained all the details to me, and answered all my questions. VERY FAIR ESTIMATES.

On time, completed job in one day with five painters. They surprised me with the thoroughness of their work, spending hours scraping and sanding prior to painting the railing. They discounted their work with the Angie's list discount. Their final price was hundred's of dollars below other estimates.

Jairo, the field manager. Provided complete and exceptional support for me during this project. He was prompt and professional in every phase of the project. He was available to discuss key decisions throughout the project, and helped advise me when we needed expert advice. The quality of the work done was exceptional as well. The price was in alignment with competition, and there was a discount applied for mentioning Angie's list. I am looking forward to working with Jairo, and Dixon Painting, during future painting projects at my home. I highly recommend Dixon Painting, and Jairo specifically.

My first appointment was for Saturday, Sept. 2, but the service person never showed up. This ruined my weekend plans as I was going to paint my front porch hand railing and door facing. My next appointment on the following Saturday was kept and the work was performed satisfactorily. Overall, the completed work was done well, and I would recommed this company to anyone.

Dixon Painting was extremely professional, polite, reasonably priced (our lowest bid for the job), and did outstanding work. They completed the entire job in three days. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I spoke to Mark Stallings last week. He agreed to meet me the following week at 8 am as I have a very tight schedule and needed an exterior paint estimate. I canceled plans to be available at 8 am. He neither called nor showed up. This is not the company you want to do business with. Many others have said the same thing. Respect for others time is high on my list of requirements.

Outstanding service and professionalism. I literally think about 10 other homes or more in our neighborhood have now used them. In addition to outstanding prep work and painting, they kept the area clean when job complete. They also did a variety of exterior repair jobs (repair sash, flashing, cracked windows etc). They even came back when complete to make sure we were satisfied.

Our house was built in 1894 and all the wood work is hand carved. Dixons were extremely careful and did an outstanding job of painting our front porches. They were on time, courteous and very quick!. Thank you!

Entire experience was positive from the estimate to the performance and cleanup of the job. There were a few small spots that did not receive paint which I had not noticed until I went back to clean, but I will have them completed when I call them back for more work!

This was the best painting experience ever!! Dixon showed up as scheduled with a large and experienced crew. They estimated that the job would take 5 days (we were skeptical based on the amount of work to be done), but they finished it a day early. They worked neatly, took pride in their work, and cleaned up well. There was always someone available to answer our questions or to discuss the project. They even did some little extras that were not included in the estimate. In addition, they did the necessary carpentry without the need to hire a separate contractor. The quality of their work was great. I would recommend them without reservation!! Thanks, Angie's List. Will look to you for other projects.

Initial estimate was performed, work described accurately, and price broken out piece by piece. Initial communication about job could have been better (did not arrange in advance for someone to be home, and that was required). Crew arrived on time, did good work, consulted me on any additional work before it was performed. When I had a concern, the on-site job foreman was very helpful and the off-site manager returned call quickly. I would hire again.

Awesome experience. Their 15% angies list discount puts them in line with the other estimates, but they were very professional, a manager came each day to inspect progress and make sure we were happy, and there was always someone who spoke English. They worked hard, long days and did a top-quality job. We are very pleased with the results.

The painters were very hard working and conscientious to do an excellent job. Even though it was very hot during the day, the work was completed in less than four days.

Dixon was great. Everything was completed in one week - from the quote to finishing the job.

My original call was on a Friday and they came the following Monday to give us an estimate (I had three other estimates that week as well). Alberto Calvo was very professional and explained everything in detail and gave us the estimate in writing. I called Mr. Calvo back about ten days after the estimate, on a Wednesday, to schedule the work to be done. A crew came the next day, Thursday, to begin by power washing the house. On Friday a crew of four came and began work by chipping out the old glaze and puttying the windows. They also re-caulked and sealed around every opening, we have vinyl siding. They painted until dark, and came back to finish the job on Saturday. They picked all the equipment up and piled it neatly for the night on Friday, and cleaned everything up before leaving on Saturday. I was very pleased at how quickly we were scheduled and at how fast the work was completed. They were professional, and the work was very well done. They guarantee their work for five years.

We were very satisfied with the quality and timeliness of their work. The quote was in-line or slightly lower than two other quotes.
