Danilo's Professional Tree Service & Landscape

They are suing me because I canceled the check after they confused the job, cut the wrong tree, hustled me for additional money to cut trees that were on contract and damaged my shed and gutters. Their website says "satisfaction guaranteed" but they ignored my complaint and then sent a letter threatening a lien on my house within two weeks of the work. Then, when I tried to resolve it through the BBB, they only gave me the option to pay full price OR sign an NDA and pay 1850 (I had already disagreed to 1400 because of the damages and lost wages due to canceled appointments). They then tried to charge me 1700 if I removed all the negative reviews. Why would a company make you sign an NDA if you're a satisfied customer? That's shady.

I had a fantastic experience with Danilo’s. I worked directly with Michael and he is very professional. He cut down 23 trees for me and laid emerald zoysia sod in my front and back yard. His team was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They did such a beautiful job and it completely changed our home for the better. Michael has been super responsive and amazing to work with. He answers my questions and comes to check on things in person if asked. Two of my neighbors has since used them and all super happy. Michael also cut down 7 trees at my moms house and laid sod too. All beautiful and professional work! Will only work with Michael and Danilo’s for all landscaping needs/wants. Michael even recently helped me fix sod that a contractor drove through and ruined! I called him and he sent someone the same day!!!

Didn't level my backyard and left the cut trees on front yard, in rain which caused damage to my lawn. If one of those logs were to roll, it would've wrecked neighboring homes. They didn't answer my calls the entire day they were supposed to come get the trees off of lawn and bc they were there for days I was fined by my HOA.

Do not pay this company until you confirm the work was completed as promised. We, unfortunately, made this mistake. We ended up paying for Zoysia but receiving Bermuda in a portion of our yard, that has since had to be pulled up. The remaining Zoysia was mostly dead. They also failed to lay topsoil, failed to grind stumps of the trees they took down, dumped debris in the woods behind our house that is not our property, and ruined part of our yard getting to the work because they "forgot" to bring boards to lay down. All of this was realized after they left, and after we paid. After much fighting and threats, they came back and ground the stumps, and cleaned up the trash, and reimbursed us a small amount for the topsoil. Now we're left with no grass where the wrong grass was laid and a yard we'll now have to repair. Don't expect the owner, Mario, to be any help. He refused to respond to many, many calls and texts, and when he finally responded, he promised to come out on 3 occasions and never showed. We missed days of work waiting around for Danilo's to show up. They've also lied and misrepresented the facts to the BBB. While their prices are ok, the way they treated us, as repeat customers who sent several referrals to them, requires that they receive an F. DO NOT USE!

I found them thru Angie's List, it wasn't a Big Deal, I just researched them on Angie's List. I had some issues, it was an ongoing process. I made it abundantly clear via the estimate that my tree was to be removed and the stump grounded, that was in the contract. He explained that the price was going to be a little higher and I said that was fine. It was $800 for the tree and $500 for the stump. They had two different crews. The tree removal crew was prompt, professional, and great. The stump removal crew, I could not get a time when they were going to show up, they told me they weren't going to show up, and then they showed up. I wanted to be here to make sure that all the visible weeds were removed, and all they did was the stump. They said that they would be back on Saturday and fix it. I said, that was fine and no one showed up. I called them and they called me on Sunday, said, they were sorry and would be here first thing on Monday. Nobody showed up, they said that they would be here on Wednesday, and they didn't show up. I told them that when they don't finish a job, I can't put them down as being professional. I finally called the owner, she was upset, and said that she would make it right. She said that someone would be here on Saturday, and there was. The guy showed up on Saturday, and he worked through the rain. He worked hard, the rain started, and he said that he would have to come back because, the machine was clogging up. He was supposed to be back on Monday, no one showed up, I called on Tuesday, and she said that it was marked as complete. It took three weeks, I had to cancel sod, cancel landscaping crew, and do all of that. We are still looking at a month. I am not happy with them at all. The price was a good price, and they had prompt service. The quality of the work was good, once it was completed, was excellent. I couldn't get people to give me any times, and no one showed up when they were supposed too. The first crew was prompt, but the second crew was not. It was hard because, there were two crews, but the same company. I would give one crew an A and the other crew an F. I would have based on phone conversations given them an A because, it took them over three weeks to get a job done, I'd have to give it a D or an F. I would never use them and I would never recommend them. They could have shown up when they said they were going too and communicated. There was a huge failure to communicate.
