Amazingly friendly tradesman (Mitch) and owner (Gurdon). I had a small project compared to the typically project size for this firm, but lucky me I got top quality results for doing work in the off-season (January). Gurdon was gracious when accepting my job and the unusual terms (I did the demo and painting to meet MY budget). Mitch did an exceptional job laying absolutely perfect tile and it was a very easy to mess up pattern. Plus the sub-floor had to be rebuilt. Mitch is really great at conversing and strategizing to keep the project on-track and helping my through the extra little decisions. Everyone was polite, professional, friendly, timely, and flexible. I would hire again in a flash (and I've used 4 contractors in this area, Gurdon is my favorite).

We found Gurdon on Angie's list and we cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a total professional and a very nice person in the bargain. Plus, he has integrity. He agreed to take on our renovation when others never came back or returned our calls. He kept within our budget and he exceeded our expectations. Our kitchen looks beautiful and he had some great ideas to improve it's functionality. He was also easy to talk to and always responsive. The men who came to work on the project were wonderful and did a beautiful job. If you hire CWG Construction/Gurdon you will be very happy with the results and the experience.

CWG has done many improvements over the years to the last three homes that I've owned including exterior & interior work. In our last home, we contracted them to gut our kitchen and start from the floor up. The project was done within the expected time frame and with no surprises. GWG most recently completed a complete tear off & residing of our home. We had Hardiplank installed and the cost came in at the quoted price and was finished in less time than we anticipated. From start to finish, we couldn't have been happier. Thank you again Gurdon for all the fantastic work in the past & look forward to our next big project. I truly appreciate your professionalism and commitment to doing it right the first time.

This is second time I have used this contractor....very happy both times. He worked to our budget and kept surprises to a minimum. He was innovative in ways to achieve the desired outcome while striving to work within our budget and timeframe. I have since moved from the area and am dissapointed that he is not located close enough to me for future work. I continue to recommend this company to friends and family.

Our kitchen project went very well with the company's guidance. Both my wife and I love to cook and we are extremely pleased to this day with the kitchen. The under the counter LED lighting which we had installed at Mr. Count's suggestion are a wonderful addition. I would highly suggest considering the lights for anyone redoing a kitchen. Our other projects with CWG have also proceeded very well. From smaller repairs to large siding and roof projects we have been pleased. One would be hard pressed to find a more honest company and owner who does quality work at a reasonable price.

Of course, as with all major renovations, there are setbacks from time to time; but Gurdon always has a good solution for any problem that comes up. There are never any surprises in the end on the cost. It never goes as fast as you want it to, but ultimately in the end we got everything just the way we wanted it!

CWG Construction did an excellent job with my chimney repairs. Additionally, the price was extremely fair and well below their competitors. The owner, Gurdon Counts, is professional and works diligently to meet your needs in a timely manner. The crew that came to my home was also very courteous and did an excellent job of keeping the job site clean. CWG Construction goes the extra mile to help their customers. As a result of a hail storm, I had water leaking into my chimney and attic. I called CWG Construction for assistance in getting a tarp to cover the chimney. In less than 12 hours, a crew came to my house in the pouring rain and covered the chimney with a tarp! CWG Construction is also your go to contractor when selling a home. Several years ago, they helped with a long punch list of items that needed to be accomplished before closing. CWG Construction did excellent work in a quick time frame. The house sold as a result of their work!

Gurdon & CWG Construction are top notch. ?We've used them for years including siding, painting and general home repairs. ?Gurdon is always punctual, professional and honest. ? We called other so called experts for quotes and got the usual "sales pitch," but CWG delivered. ?Gurdon was approachable and forthcoming each time we've used CWG and has earned our business for years to come. ?I can't recommend CWG enough. ?

My past projects included: The demolition of an inefficient built in large fireplace and accompanying rock faced chase. This was a difficult project as it involved repairing the roof, rebuilding the wall, and matching the exterior log siding to the house. My old log siding is a different size than today's and hard to come by. But he did it! It matches perfectly. The finished project was one of the deciding factors by the city in listing CWG on their list of preferred providers. The demolition and rebuild of an upstairs small bathroom. CWG did it all... installed a new energy efficient window, replaced the failing roof over the bathroom, installed the Neo shower, etc. What an improvement! I listed the project on HGTV's 'Rate My Space' and got great reviews. Encouraged by the experience and results, I moved onto the next project... The demolition of and rebuild of an unused sunroom into to a fully functional office. It involved building a new wall and the installation of exterior log siding on the outside to match the rest the house. He also rebuilt the remaining walls from scratch and installed surrounding energy efficient windows. I also submitted this room to HGTV and received numerous outstanding reviews. Now, I was on a roll... I had found a contractor I could trust. Unexpectedly a pipe burst in the downstairs bathroom and blasted water most of the day before found out about it. I shut off the water and called Gurdon (at 11:30 pm!). He came out the next day and assessed the damages. The event escalated my remodel plans for the bathroom. Why do it twice? So, we worked up a plan to repair and renovate. Within three days when the house was dried and ready for construction, he and his crew were on the job. It was amazing! I have never had a project of this size and intricacy. Yet, Gurdon handled everything; building permits, help with insurance claims (he has an insurance background) etc. He worked with me to compare prices for the needed materials and appliances to help keep costs low without compromising quality. The new claw foot tub was now positioned in front of the old window. Thus, he installed a new tempered window to meet code and safety. He repaired all structural issues and even matched the 20 year old pine floors to the rest of the house. The job was done in record time, and it is beautiful! Again I sent pictures to HGTV 'Rate My Space'. They featured the bathroom on their main page for several months resulting in numerous, outstanding (I love it!) comments. I am gearing-up for my next project in 2016. Know who I am going to call?

CWG Const. is a great company and over qualified for the jobs I had them do, but they knew I was in dire need of some help from my persistence to take my small job. My family moved into a new home and I needed some housekeeping jobs that required a handyman. I knew they would do a great job because their background is doing big renovations and bigger projects. They were puctional and detailed. Also, asked if I was alright with some changes they had to do to install the baby gate properly. They fixed it so it was safe for everyone. I limited them to a 4hour window due to my schedule. They were nice to call and see if they could come back (considering that they came from Kennesaw to Alpharetta) to finish 3 items. They gave me a fair price and worth every penny!
