+ -1 moreJoe from CRSI came out quickly to give an estimate and was well below the estimates I received from 4 other service providers. I waited a few weeks for the windows and Joe and his crew promptly set an appointment to install the new windows. The installers did an excellent job and demonstrated experience and craftsmanship as they installed the new windows in just a few hours time. They were exceptionally neat and kept my room clean and clear of debris from the old windows. In the end, the new windows look fantastic and have greatly improved the energy efficiency of the room. The exterior of the windows looks very clean with the aluminum wrap inasmuch as it covered up rotting and damaged wood. I immediately had Joe give me a quote on 8 additional windows that I will replace in the near future. I would definitely and strongly recommend this company for your window and other needs.
Description of Work: I had four double-hung windows replaced in my family room. They were cheap construction grade and not very energy efficient. I also had the outside of the windows wrapped with aluminum and rotted wood repaired.

+ -1 moreDo use Joe, his price was good, the work was good, and the windows are good. I did have two window panes develope a stress crack, which Joe ordered and replaced both at at no charge. Nice to have an honest guy that honors his warranty. I will use him again for other work in my home.
Description of Work: He replaced 33 windows in my house. Joe is a very nice guy who I felt was honest with me. Joe was not the cheapest, and not the most expensive. Joe had done several homes in my subdivision, everyone was happy with his work. The crew came in did the windows was friendly, clean, neat and I felt safe with them.

Description of Work: Replaced three double hung windows for bay window and a 47" x 52" tempered picture window over tub. Used Simonton Asure Thermal Vinyl windows with low-E glass, argon gas, foam wrap and screens. All external window frames were capped.

Unlike others, there wasn't any hippe or pressure! From start to finish Joe exceeded and surpassed our expectations. The installer, Danny was great! Always nice to have a good English speaking crew. Description of Work: We had the house estimated for exterior painting and replacement for 5 windows. The gentlemen at CRSI were very professional and quick with the estimates, contacting me within days of our contacting them. The exterior painting project, including pressure wash, prep work,sanding and priming was complete in 1 week. The 4 replacement windows came in quickly, were replaced in a couple of hours, cleanup was excellent. The large oval window took longer to come in but when it did, the job was completed very quickly as well as the cleanup. The company is excellent to work with and keep you updated of all progress.

From my first contact with Matt, I was very impressed with their professionalism and follow through. Matt was quick to get an estimate to us, and they did an absolutely wonderful job with the paint. There was a slight mix up with the approved paint colors from our HOA, but Matt got me on the phone immediately and had it all cleared up. All in all, highly recommend!

Description of Work: My wife and I decided to have our 22 wood windows replaced in our 1990 built house. My wife got on the internet and did a search for window vendors in the area. Within 30 minutes of searching for local window companies online, Joe Tichenor of CRSI called us to talk about our window needs at our house. We were surprised to get such a quick response but pleasantly relieved to start talking with somebody about our window needs. The other two vendors we got quotes from contacted us a day or two later. Joe asked if we would like him to look at our house windows and that he was available that afternoon if we wanted him to come by and give us an estimate. Two hours later and the same day we started looking for window companies, Joe arrived at our house. At this point, I thought I was about to get the pushy salesman pitch on windows but that could not have been further from the truth. Joe gave us a price quote on replacing the windows and showed us the Simonton window his company uses. No sales pitch just straight shooting facts and answers to my questions from a guy that has been in the window business 25+ years. The other two vendors gave us higher price quotes with lower quality window replacements. We chose CRSI to do our windows. Joe ordered the Simonton windows and two weeks later they arrived. Joe called to schedule a good time for installation and his work crew showed up right on time. Danny, his window installer, was nice and professional, and did a great job. They replaced all blinds and curtains and vacuumed around each window area after each window installation. Danny then capped all the exterior wood trim around each window with metal trim. This gave the new windows great curb appeal for the house. The removal and installation took about 5 hours for all the windows. Joe stopped by during the installation process to check on the crew and with me to see if I had any concerns. I had no concerns but just good ole appreciation of a job done correctly, timely, and for a good price. Joe showed me how the windows worked and provided me with warranty information. He even said if a window breaks for whatever reason, he would replace the pane for no charge. My wife and I our completely satisfied with the whole window replacement process CRSI provided us. Joe, Danny, and the crew did a great job and I am already recommending them to our interested neighbors.

Description of Work: If there was an a+ category we would give CRSI an A+. Their work was high quality and professionaly done. They were pleasant to work with both in the planning and execution phases. Work was started on Sept. 24, 2012 and in spite of bad weather and death in the immediate family of one of the key workers it was completed in a timely manner. We strongly recommend CRSI for competent siding replacement and home painting.

I had several other companies that either said the job was not big enough to come out or quoted much more for the exact same product. Joe came out on the scheduled date and was on time and quoted us a fair price. He was in touch through the entire process. We were so impressed we recommended him to a friend, who will also use his company. Would call them again in the future.

+ -1 moreThe reason I did not proceed with them is that they were not knowledgeable. They at first said that they didn't do the job that I was hiring for and they had to check with someone else, his window guy. He was inexperienced and didn't give correct information. I did not have confidence and because of that I did not have the confidence in the way he measures the windows and he also did not recognize the manufacturer of the windows where the other two companies immediately knew who produces those windows. So overall he just didn't present for me to feel confident.
Description of Work: We used CRSI Siding and Windows & Painting for an estimate on a window job.

Description of Work: Home was built in 1991 and needed to be updated. New gutters with gutter guards were installed. All windows were replaced and exterior wood surfaces covered with vinyl. Absolutely low maintenance!!! Three old French doors were replaced with high quality sliding door walls.

+ 3 moreBoth the Mrs. and I were very impressed with Joe. We have had already 4 other quotes from other contractors. Compared to others, Joe's visit was a relief! We felt no hype or pressure. He was courteous, helpful and most of all, honest. He was the first to give us the quote while in our home. We were amazed that a Simonton window that Joe offered us was the same window that was quoted by two other companies at a higher price by 40% and 50%. Shortly after Joe left our home, we cancelled our 6th appt., knowing we would contract with his company. After contracting with Joe, we kept up to date by phone and e-mail. Joe, Danny and crew arrived the day promised. It was good to see a good American crew. From start to finish, they were clean cut, courteous, efficient and very professional. A real joy to have them working on our home. I have reviewed the other quotes in comparison with Joe's and calculated a savings of approx. $5000. Over all, this was the best experience we ever had. He promptly brought another contractor, Danny, to thoroughly walk thru the house with us, took measurement and explained the work to us. It took about 2 weeks to order the window. At first, one of the window was broken when it arrived, so we ended up had to wait for another week or so for the replacement window. After then, it only took them two and a half days to complete the work. The results look good and the windows have lifetime warranty. We are very satisfied with this experience.
Description of Work: Install approximately 10 new windows (3 picture windows, 2 sliders and the rest are double hung windows).

+ -1 moreI was thrilled! This company was recommended to me by a friend of mine. Compared to what we had prior, these windows work great. Joe was very reliable, showed up on time, and the entire job was done within one day. Their price was definitely good; he was several thousand dollars cheaper than other companies that I had researched. I feel like we got as good of a window as the other companies, too. The only issue was that I didn’t understand that there would be a white trim on the outdoor of the windows; I thought it’d be more of a neutral color but other than that, everything was great. The windows have been easy to clean and the screens have been easy to change. I’m happy with the service and I would recommend them.

+ -1 moreI had heard about CRSI through a neighbor, who had nothing but praise for Joe and his crew. I had made an appointment with Joe Tichenor, the owner, for an estimate. Joe arrived as scheduled and he sent me the estimate the same day. We arranged to have the windows replaced about a week later. Joe and his crew were punctual; they removed all of my old windows and replaced them with my new energy efficient Simonton windows. I couldn't believe how quickly the crew had installed them and cleaned up the old windows, which they took with them (a plus!). I could not be happier with the service I received and my new beautiful windows. It was so refreshing to deal with the owner directly. Joe was available for all of my questions. Thanks to Joe and his crew!
