CRSI Siding | Windows | Painting

After having done business with CRSI and Matt I needed what looked to be windows replace and my inter painted. As before Matt showed up on time and walked us through the whole process and time it would take to finish the job. The crew was friendly, worked diligently to make my wife feel comfortable all the way though the process. What makes more of reason to highly recommend CRSI and Matt is they made my wife " Happy " as well as me. The quality of work they did was high quality and ever night the clean up was like they had not been there. The these reasons and many more is why we recommend CRSI for your next adventure.

CRSI came out promptly to discuss the project. We let Matt know we were interested in replacing siding and window trim that was rotting and also have the exterior painted. Matt emailed the estimate back within a day. Matt oversaw the entire project and we really appreciated his attention to detail. The workers spent a lot of time replacing all of the rotten siding and trim, and on the prep work before the painting. I thought it was a very fair price for the quality and the amount of work that was done.

Matt, The owner came out himself and gave us a quote on on the job. He had the best price and very professional and on time. When the crew showed up Matt was there going over all of our concerns with us and crew making sure everything was done right. We are repeat customers of CRSI's. They spent a couple of days just in prep scrapping and sanding were needed. The replace wood that had been painted over by someone's bad job. They found cover up rotten wood that most would have just painted over and moved on. They where on time and cleaned up every day before they went home which made my wife feel happy. When the job was done Matt came out and ask us to walk around and make sure everything was done to our satisfaction and it was for sure. I highly recommend Matt and CRSI to anyone looking for the best price along quality work.

Update - After posting my review we were contacted by the owner of CRSI. He was concerned that we were not happy with the outcome of our project. He asked to come out and meet with us to go over the project and take a second look at the quality issues. The owner took at look at the areas we were not happy with and corrected the carpentry on the deck area himself. He caulked, sanded and repainted the areas on the deck that we were unhappy with. He also gave use $250 back since we weren't happy with the repair work that had been done on the house. We appreciated that he wanted to make things right. CRSI did exterior repairs and painting on our stucco home. We recently purchased the home and knew that there was quite a bit of rotten wood around the house. We got quotes from several vendors and CRSI was the highest quote. We spoke with Matt and he said that while they were not the least expensive, they strive to be the best and would do an outstanding job considering all the repairs that needed to be made. We decided to go with CRSI because we felt we needed someone who could handle all the repairs that we had pointed out and any additional ones that might be found. Our project was plagued by rain delays over several weeks. They started on our project but only a couple of days in were halted by days of rain. After they had left one day, we walked around the house and found that they had taken trim out around a window to replace it and had left the framing wide open. Rain was anticipated the next day so we reached out to Matt to see if someone was coming out to cover the exposed framing before it rained. No one was available to come out so we ended up covering the window with plastic and making sure it stayed covered for the several days of rain. Obviously there was nothing that CRSI could do about the rain delays and the fact that they had to let thing dry out after the rain. However, they didn't do a good job of communicating when a crew would be there and when they would not. On days it wasn't raining, we just waited to see if the crew showed up. Sometimes they did, sometimes they didn't. At one point they came to get some of their equipment because things needed to dry out . But when the weather finally cleared and we had a beautiful week, we had to call to see if they were starting again. They told us the crew chief was sick and that meant the crew couldn't work. Then a few days later the crew chief showed up by himself and worked alone. Something else had happened with the crew and they couldn't come. To their credit they knew we weren't happy that their staffing issues had caused us to miss nice weather when work could be completed. They pulled a crew from another job and had them come work on our house the following day. The quality of their work and their attention to detail was not what it should have been for the price. The prep work and carpentry work was not as good as it should have been. We found wood replaced with boards with knot holes out of it, wood that was not scrapped or sanded, places where paint got onto the shingles, other areas that weren't painted well, etc, etc. They replaced deck rails/spindles and you can see every screw from each repair. We called them back out to replace some of the poor carpentry but it still is not as good as it should be for the price. We ended up paying them $900 for the additional repairs found on the house. Matt indicated that was discounted.......needless to say we were shocked by that additional cost. I realize that since the rain delays caused our project to stretch out over a month, they probably were trying to hurry up and get finished in those last few days. I'm sure they had other clients that were waiting for them to start projects. That may be why some of the quality is not what it should be. To be perfectly honest, I probably could have gotten this paint job much cheaper with another vendor and still had the same quality.

Three installers, working together as a team got the job done under four hours which included the clean up.

Joe was great! He ordered the sash and mentioned it would cost approx. $88. Rather than installing it ourselves, we asked Joe to handle the install because we were concerned that there may be additional repairs needed to the frame. Window came in, and Joe came by to install it as soon as he was in our area. It was a week or two before he was out our way. However, it was understandable as this was just one replacement sash, and he wasn't charging for the install. After installation, I was ready to write the check for the sash and to my very happy surprise, Joe said "No Charge"! Made my week!! I would highly recommend this company! It is nice to know that the after-purchase service was as good as the initial whole-house window replacement experience.

I received four bids and this company seemed to be the most honest and reasonable. I made the right choice! Matt and his crew were very responsive to my calls and very helpful during the entire job. They spent extra time preparing the house for painting and left the property clean.

They delivered on what they promised. They were fast and I am happy with my new windows. Our sunroom floor slopes downward due to poor construction by the people who owned the house before us, but they were able to make the windows work. The door was a challenge as well, but the installer did a great job getting it swapped out.

Joe came to our home in April to give us an estimate for our windows. He sent the quote to us the same day of his visit and included references and testimonials from other customers. This really helped with our research and decision making. Approximately a week after receiving the quote, we decided to proceed with replacing our 4 picture windows. We were informed that our project was too small and we would have to pay $150 or so to schedule an actual date. Otherwise, they would do ours whenever another small project came up in our area. No projects came up in our area for some time, so we decided we may need to adjust the windows we would replace. We decided to proceed with our 8 double hung windows first and then do the 4 picture windows at a later date. Once we adjusted to meet their minimum window requirement of 6, we were able to schedule our appointment quickly (within the month). From there, things flowed very smoothly. They arrived early to start our project and worked very quickly. The team arrived first to do the work and Joe arrive shortly thereafter. He was extremely nice. We had some concerns because our windows were previously wired for our alarm. Joe gave us some great insight and saved us quite a bit of money on reconnecting our windows to the alarm. All windows were completed within 3-4 hours. Joe returned after the project was complete to clean the windows and add the alarm sensors. There were a few minor complications with the sensors initially, but Joe remained in communication with us and promised to come back out to fix them when he could. He also told us we could hold off on the payment until he finished. This was extremely kind of him!! It really showed a lot about his character and work ethic. We are very happy with our windows and the service that Joe provided! We went with the grid-less windows and it really opened up our living room! Thank you guys! We hope to have you come back out and do our picture windows in the near future!

We decided to replace 25 windows in our house. We got estimates from eight companies and we were not aiming only for a good price, but also for the company?s reputation. I was looking for a company with less complains as possible, so I investigated companies in websites, such as BBB, Kudzu and Angie?s list. I checked each one of the eight companies and CRSI had Grade A in all review types on Angie?s list. We spoke with Joe Tichenor and we felt comfortable because he was not pushing to sell his windows, but he was interested in helping us with remodeling ideas. After selecting our windows, he provided us an estimate which was reduced later on because the windows manufacture gave him a discount, and he passed the discount on to us (this is something that we don?t see every day!). He also provided us a list with hundreds of references, and we contacted a few in our area. My main questions to his previous customers were when they had done the job because I was looking for someone with the windows replaced for at least 2 years. I also asked if there were any later adjustments made. For my surprise, there were 3 references with windows installed for more than 3 years. One of them had to later replace one sash, which Joe did in timely manner. All of them remembered Joe as a person with exceptional principles, extreme responsible and passionate for his job. At that point, we decided to close the deal with CRSI. When the windows arrived (in less time that we expected), Joe contacted us promptly and scheduled the windows replacement. His team was punctual, polite, fast, precise and very attentive to all our questions. They replaced our windows and exceptionally cleaned after the work was done. At the end CRSI left us with an impression of highly skilled level professionals. My wife and I decided to give Joe authorization to use us as reference (one more satisfied customer to add to his list). We still have nine more windows to replace in our house and for sure we will call Joe again.

We were very satisfied working with Matt and his painting crew for our extensive interior painting project which included removing layers of wallpaper, repairing drywall damage, painting trim, built-in bookcases, walls and ceilings. Crew led by Gonzalo was always on time, hardworking and easy to work with. Meticulous attention to prep the house and protect hardwood floors and furniture during project. Worked 6-days per week until project completed. Matt was accessible, responsive and checked in regularly. Fence painting also completed to our satisfaction. Would not hesitate to use again.

Everything went great. I originally contacted Joe in 2014 for an estimate on new windows. We finally got around to doing it this year, and things went very smoothly. It took a few weeks for the windows to arrive which was fine, and once we set a date for installation Joe and his crew were able to install them in one day. The crew were polite and professional and they kept things very clean. By the end of the day, you hardly knew anyone had been there. The windows were a major upgrade and improvement on my original windows from 1988. We're looking forward to a warmer winter and cooler summer inside, and the street noise has all but disappeared. As a realtor, it's nice to have contractors to call, and I'm happy to say that I now have a "window guy" who does a great job.

Joe and his crew replaced my daughter's windows and sliding glass door in her new home in Peachtree City. None of the windows would open and most of the seals were broken as well. Joe and his crew arrived on time and completed the job in a very professional manner. They were polite and courteous and very patient with my 3 year old grandson who supervised them! They were on time with starting the job and completed it within the originally estimated time frame. The work was excellent overall. There were some minor paint over-spray issues that had to be corrected at the end, but overall the work was very good. They were also helpful in identifying some additional repair work that I had not seen and this was done during the estimate phase, so there were no surprises in the overall cost. The workers were professional and friendly. I would recommend CRSI highly.

We hired CRSI about ten years ago to replace the old siding on our home. People we didn't even know, who were just taking their walks in the neighborhood, would stop us to tell us how great the house looked. Really gush. This many years later, we not only remembered CRSI, we knew we would use them again for our windows. We had discussed replacing them back when we did the siding, but weren't quite ready to do so. We called Joe Tichenor for a quote, which we received promptly, and in writing. Joe is very responsive, returns phone calls, and is open to any questions and/or follow up you may have. He is thorough in his discussion of what you, as the client, want, and will make cost saving suggestions. The crew, very polite, finished the job in one day, and cleaned up after themselves. CRSI is professional. Not only did we receive the Simonton Lifetime Transferable Warranty, but Joe provides a 10 year warranty on the installation. We are more than satisfied, would re-hire CRSI again and again, and have recommended them to friends and family. We would give them a higher grade than A if we could.

The beautiful siding that CRSI installed years ago was in pretty desperate need of a good cleaning. Matt McCurdy to the rescue. We called Matt and received a written estimate to pressure wash the house, and to spot prime and paint the front columns and four exterior doors, using Sherwin-Williams paints. We have used CRSI previously and are comfortable because we have always had such a positive experience. We were not disappointed. The team was professional and courteous, and completed the job in one day The work really freshened up the homestead and we are planning to have them back to tackle some interior paint work soon. It is rare to find a contractor who is so exceptionally consistent in their professionalism and good work. Although we have already referred them to others, they are such keepers, we almost hate to share!

This is the third time I have worked with CRSI and without a doubt, they are the best. For window replacement there is no better option. The price is the best offered for quality Simonton windows. Installation is quick and professional and the guys always leave the house spotless. I have replaced just about every window in our house over the last few years and have had nothing but a positive experience each and every time. Kudos to Joe who does the estimates and facilitates the entire process from start to finish. He is a professional and stands by his products and the work performed by his crew. Always a pleasure doing business with Joe and CRSI. This is the only company you should consider for your window needs.

It was excellent. They cleaned up after themselves, showed up everyday on time and worked through the weekend. I wasn't happy with the color I had picked out for the porch and they redid it for me. They were very accommodating. They did all the work until I was happy. The Owner came out several times throughout the job and after to make sure everything was done right. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We were very pleased with the service. I had been frustrated with a lack of responsiveness from other companies just in trying to get a quote. After contacting CRSI through Angie's I got a response from Matt (one of the owners) that same day. After emailing him some pictures of our deck, he had a very reasonable quote back to us within a couple days. We had hoped to get the work done by the end of May, and Matt was able to get our job in. His crew actually worked on Memorial Day weekend! In the end, the job was completed on time and for the expected price. Additionally, Matt was very easy to work with. We are happy with the finished product and will definitely use CRSI for our painting needs in the future.

Excellent. Joe and his crew showed up as promised and completed the job in 2 days. The crew removed all blinds and then replaced them when finished. Window frames were capped. All trash and old windows were hauled away. Everything was done to specification and they even washed the windows before they left!

The job ran like clockwork. After selecting CSRI Joe did an excellent job of keeping us notified of the process. The windows arrived on time and he scheduled installation right away. The installation crew was excellent. They worked quickly and clean and had the job completed same day.

CRSI arrived on time and did a beautiful job. The clean up was good and there was constant communication. All went well, the finished job is beautiful and I am extremely happy that that hideous arbor is gone. There was a problem with some shingles where the arbor was. Once the weather decided to cooperate, they were able to fix it, and it looks beautiful. I would recommend CRSI very highly.

My 1950s era house still had the original wooden windows in it. They were in pretty bad shape. CRSI came out, give me a fair estimate to get new windows, and did the work on time and on budget. They are 100% professional and trustworthy. Now I can open my windows easily and they really look great! I'm extremely pleased with the work and recommend CRSI to everyone.

Joe responed to my call within minutes, came out to the house within a couple of days to look at windows , we were given a price for complete work that same day . We decided to have all of the windows replaced at the same time . I called Joe back , he came back out again to double check and get measurements . Windows were ordered and installed within couple weeks of first call to them . No pressure just a honest straight forward easy to deal with company and person . Joe took time to answer all questions we had . No money was asked for until job was complete and checked by Joe himself and me . When the crew arrived to install Joe meet Danny and his crew and checked with them and myself during the day to see how it was going . The crew installed all windows in one day ! Do yourself a favor and call them first , they have a better product for alot less than most others , very easy to do bushy with .
