+ -1 moreWe hired this company five years ago and were very pleased with the results. This time, our system stopped cooling on a Saturday afternoon. I requested service and got an almost immediate response. The technician came out that night and began work. He needed some parts, so he could not finish. He came back the next morning (Sunday) and finished the job. The total job took five or six hours. Very pleased with the work and customer service exceeded expectations. My only suggestions are to put down tarp to avoid scratching hardwood floors when wheeling in equipment and to be careful not to touch walls with hands. These were only minor issues. Our technician was a very hard worker with a great attitude

+ -1 moreDo try to call Controlled Climate first. But, the lesson we learned is to get several estimates.
Description of Work: HONEST, HONEST, HONEST, HONEST, HONESTWe received estimates from other companies on how to deal with the heat in the upstairs area. The downstairs was cool but the upstairs always warm. The AC unit didn't seem to be able to keep up and never cool the house (this is taking into account the 20 degree variation rule). The recommendations we had received from others was that we needed another return vent (estimated cost: $250 per room). Controlled Climate came out and discovered we needed about 2 gallons of freon. They put the freon in and it worked. Saved us $100. Of course keep in mind it would have cost $250 per room. Therefore, we probably saved even more.
