CLEAN AS A WHISTLE

They were horrific and he said horrible things. He has changed the name of his company from Clean As A Whistle Window and Deck Cleaning to Oxy Cleaning. It was so horrible he did not even get a ladder to clean my windows. He did not even get to my upper windows. I have a two story house with a basement so it is like a three story. His name is Lane or Lanie and he even took part of my deck siding off my house and never fixed it. He supposedly does windows and decks. I have never seen anything like it. He did not even get a ladder to do the windows. He is a liar, a big one. The work was not completed. I never did contact him back. I did not want him over here. He did not do the job and he lied about it.

We first began using CAAW several years ago. Back then their rate was about $62 per hour, then at one point went to $78. We used to use them every two weeks, until they raised their rates again to $104 - a one-third increase. We have always been happy w/ their service, but w/ the last big rate increase we changed to using them "as needed," which now is perhaps once every month or so. We prefer them on Thur or Fri, but they usually are "not in our area" on those days. Usually it takes them about an hour to clean areas we want cleaned - typically about 2600 sq feet, including the master & two half baths. The work done is fine, and if there is a problem w/ anything, they address it. Punctuality is sometimes an issue, but we have come to expect them about an hour or so AFTER the estimated time that Shirley or Stacey say in their morning call. If we cannot be here when they come, we make arrangements for them to be able to get into the house.

They came in to clean for us for the first time on June 29th. They showed up precisely on time with a team of 4 people as advertised and did a wonderful job. Our house is large (3000 square feet) and on three floors. My husband and I both travel and while we are not slobs, many things like dusting and mopping had been lacking since we "fired" the first cleaning service we tried several months ago. If Clean As A Whistle maintains this level of thoroughness and dependability, we've finally found a cleaning service we can feel good about.

The service has been very good. The same crew comes every week, they usually have three or four people so the work is done very quickly. Shirley, who does the scheduling, is very nice to work with. They do a good job at a reasonable price. The one time I thought something wasn't done well, they offered to come back and clean again. Shirley has even come over to let the babysitter in when she was locked out of my house and I was out of town! That's great service!

WE HAVE USED THEM A LOT; THEY ARE EFFICIENT AND GOOD.
