Eddie and his crew did an amazing job completing this while we were away on vacation. We were never worried about security and Eddie's communication was excellent throughout the process. There were no cost overruns or delays. I highly recommend Eddie and his team to anyone. We are very happy with how the floors match.

Eddie and Bel Floors were great. Eddie and his brother do all the work. We had almost 2400 square feet redone. We were out of town during the project, but kept us up to date with progress. He did an outstanding job with our floors. They look like new and we are extremely happy with the color and finish. I would recommend him to anyone who wants their floors done. We worked with Eddie Lengyel and his crew. He had given us a quote last year, and when we called to schedule the work several months later, Eddie was able to accommodate our tight schedule and complete the job while we were out of town. Eddie was very attentive to our questions, wants and concerns, and he was a pleasure to work with during all phases of the job.

Eddie was great! We were moving into a new home and wanted to refinish the hardwood before we did but also tear out the existing carpet and put hardwoods on the entire 1st floor. Eddie gave great advice and as an expert in wood flooring guided us on what the best way to go in terms of finish and color. Eddie had a very tight schedule to work with but managed to complete on time. The end result was amazing and instantly added value to our home and exceeded our expectations! First Class work!!

The job, from the estimate/quote to the moving of furniture to the sanding/refinishing and staining, was exceptional. I recently bought the house knowing that I would have to refinish the floors, as they were in bad shape. I thought the job might require the installation or replacement of some of the floors/boards in light of the wear and tear, but Robert ensured me that the sanding/refinishing and staining would suffice. Robert and Eddie were also helpful in making recommendations re: the type of polyurethane and stain to use. My floors are now in great shape, and are beautiful. I'm extremely pleased. In summary, a job well done.

We had the hardwood floors in the house we bought refinished. I interacted only with Eddie, but his brother Robert did a lot of the work. I cannot say enough good things about them. We got several estimates for the work and by far, Eddie was the most knowledgeable and took the time to explain the process and various options for doing the job. They are clearly craftsmen who look at this as more than just a project. Their estimate was in line with the others we received, but we felt much more comfortable that Eddie and his crew knew what they were doing. Eddie also did a great job of communicating once the project started. When minor hiccups came up during the process (which they always do), Eddie was quick to contact me and let me know what was going on. Overall we are very happy with the quality of the work and would recommend them to anyone looking to refinish their hardwood floors.

Wow! Can't say enough positive things about Robert and Bel Floors. We just bought a new house and the floors were in terrible shape. We decided to have the floors refinished and stained a darker color. I knew the floors would look better but I wasn't prepared for how our new flooring would change the whole look and feel of our home. The floors look amazing! Robert communicated with us every step of the way-always checking in with us and letting us know the next step and giving us sneak peeks of the work in progress. Walking around on my new floors today I was looking for imperfections and honestly can't find any. So glad I picked this company and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality product.

Eddie, his brother Robert ,and their men did a outstanding job refinishing my wood floors. All the damage spots that I had are all gone. My 11 year old floors look brand new. They were very professional from start to ending. We had to move out for the week and Eddie kept me posted everyday about the progress of the floors. I was worried about them moving my furniture as I have some new pieces. I am happy to say there are no scratches on my furniture. I would highly recommend Bel Floors.

I'm pleased to provide an account of my experience with Eddie and Robert, the owners of Bel Floors. Eddie visited me for a quote within a few days of placing a call. I had received other quotes from Angie's List providers but after talking with Eddie for nearly 20 minutes, I was convinced that his company would be awarded the project. Why? His price was competitive and more importantly, he was extraordinarily thorough. I knew that if he took that much time and effort to discuss a quote, his work would be high calibre. Keep in mind that I asked Eddie to install hardwoods in the master bathroom. I admitted that my choice was unusual, but Eddie told me that he recently had another client request the same. He was flexible with scheduling as I had to coordinate tiling of the shower and bathtub, painting, granite countertops and frameless shower installation. Eddie explained that shoe mold would anchor the room in areas such as the shower and bathtub. He even offered to provide me with the dimensions of the shoe mold so that the tile installer could accommodate for it. Robert and Nick performed the installation. Their attention to detail was evident and Robert was always responsive, keeping me informed about the next steps. The finished product is truly breathtaking. They were able to achieve a near perfect match to the existing stain on the main level of the house and the hallway banister railing. I actually hugged Robert when the job was completed! Regarding the main level, that hardwood flooring was installed by another contractor (not Angie's List) and my husband commented that the work from Bel Floors was far superior. He rarely makes such remarks about home improvements, so he was clearly impressed. And a final note: Eddie called a couple of days later to ensure I was completely satisfied with the job. During that conversation he said, "This isn't just a job to us, it's what we love to do." Passionate, professional and quality driven. What more could one ask for?

The service was completed exactly as discussed. The floors looked brand new. Would use this company's service again and recommend to our friends and family.

Refinished floors, replaced shoe molding on main floor. Did all the hardwards with a water based finished with four applications. The floors look great.

My home is small, 60 years old, with 700 sq ft of original hardwood floors. The floors looked really awful, not only with scratches & gouges, staple & nail holes from carpet installation, paint splashes, holes from cable entry points, and an old shellac finish that had an orangish tint - but also there were two old returns, appx 3 X 2 ft, that I wanted removed and hardwood installed in those spaces. Eddie & Robert and their co-workers did a very nice job with refinishing the floors and installing all new baseboards and shoe mold. I'm very happy with the construction of the subfloor and weaving in of the new wood in place of the old floor returns. The new wood matched the old wood so well that one would have to know those areas were formerly returns to see even the slightest difference. I'm so amazed at the beauty of the floors with interesting grain patterns that used to be barely visible. When the guys arrived at the job the first day, all the furniture was removed from the home before they began the job. The guys were timely each day and worked hard and consistently. The job lasted 3 full days. I am grateful to Bel Floors for enhancing my home with very attractive floors.

The entire process went very well. We had a very tight schedule because we had to have the entire interior of the house painted, the hardwood floors done and carpet installed in a 3,700 sp. ft house within about 2 weeks. Eddie gave us a bid which we thought was good. He explained the process and had us select the color of stain. He knew we were under a tight schedule and was very accommodating. My floors are beautiful! He deserves all As in the about ratings. We will be using him again very soon to redo the hardwoods in our previous home that we now plan to rent.

Bel Floors did a beautiful job. Our house was transformed by the addition of wood floors! They installed the floors seamlessly with the existing wood floors so that we have one contiguous floor throughout our entire first level. Eddie was professional and knowledgeable about the process of wood floor installation and refinishing and they use only Bona certified finishes. He was very responsive and communicated clearly throughout the process via both phone and e-mail. There were no surprises in terms of price. He was even kind enough to allow us some time to pay over a few months after the job was done. I can't recommend them highly enough. Hire them! You won't regret it!

Bel was great. Eddie aand Robert were great. Our job was complicated by the fact that we had to restain our stairs so our access to our home was impacted for a few days, and the smell of the poly sealer was stronger than I thought, so, I'd consider moving out while it was being done if I was going to do it again. But, I would without hesitation use Bel again and I recommend them to anyone in the market. They did what they said and the quality was impecable. Do yourself a favor, use Bel.

Eddie responded immediately to my phone call and came out about 7:00pm on the day I called. He seemed very knowledgeable and we discussed the options, width of boards, stain color, how to run them, etc. Once I decided to install the hardwoods and after getting several estimates I called him back and we set up a date. It took Eddie and his brother 3 days to complete the job and they look fabulous. I am very pleased with my floors.

I highly recommend this skilled craftsman. We recently contracted Eddie to refinish our hardwood floors. He did an exceptional job, was most prompt and detail oriented. He is very experienced and knowledable and offered many good suggestions to help with a few of our problem areas. His price was very reasonable and he included several extras at no additional charge. Eddie took time to answer any questions that came up and explained very clearly his plan. We especially liked that Eddie was always on site working with and supervising his assistant. We have been home owners for over 40 yrs and this has been by far the best experience we?ve had dealing with contractors. We are extremely pleased with his work and would most definitely hire him again without hesitation.

The job started on time and finished on time even though there were a few hidden surprises that were encountered along the way. You have to expect some surprises if the previous work was done by builder or you have carpet. This is normal to see. Eddie takes great pride in his work and he makes sure that you will be aware of any hidden issues Over all we were more than pleased! We thought we could only afford prefinished flooring but Bel Floors proved to us that we could afford real oak.

Bel floors does incredible work on wood floors. They are craftsmen and the owner Robert is very thorough in every detail. We received a reasonable estimate. The work was done on time, and the result was literally a transformation in the look and elegance of our home. Robert comes back to your home after the work is completed to inspect the small details making sure the customer is totally satisfied. Their work is clean since they use an expensive vacuum system. All workers are passionate about their roles. We highly recommend anyone to Bel Floors. Their surface is 5-star and they follow up in a manner you just don't see anymore.
