Response from Atlanta Roofing Specialist Inc
We were originally asked to come out to give estimates for roof, interior and deck repairs. The first scheduled appointment (which we confirmed the day before) the tenants were not there - so, not sure what needed to be done, we left and called the homeowner to re-schedule. We scheduled to go out a second time and the day before the homeowner purchased the Angie's List deal for a $99 roof tune up. The day of the appointment it was actually raining, being that we can't do the "Roof Tune-up" in the rain, we had to re-schedule. The third appointment, we were finally able to meet with the tenants and look at all the issues in need of repair. It was determined that there was no need for the $99 tune up and the homeowner should call Angie's List for a refund. An estimate was prepared and sent to the homeowner the next day. Keep in mind that the homeowner lives in California and there is a 3 hour time difference so communication is sometimes difficult. However, I don't feel that his review is fair and/or accurate because we confirmed every appointment, called whenever there was a change, and sent him his estimates the day after we went out each time. Yes, some appointments were missed or changed but that was due to circumstances beyond our control - one of which was his tenants not being there when they were supposed to be.
