Atlanta Roofing Specialists is a full service roofing contractor. We can handle all of your residential and commercial roofing needs, from the smallest repair to the largest roof, no job is too big or too small! Atlanta Roofing Specialists was incorporated in May of 1993 by Kevin King and Mark Rutherford. Prior to starting the company Kevin, who has a business degree from the university of West GA, had worked with an insurance repair contractor and had extensive knowledge of estimating and the "Business" side of the industry. Mark had served in the U.S. Army and worked in the industry installing roofs since 1987 and had learned that quality workmanship and attention to detail was the key to a successful business. Since then, ARS has grown to be one of the largest and most respected roofing contractors serving the metropolitan Atlanta area. We set the standards of quality that other companies can only hope to achieve. Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality, most dependable service available. My experience started a little slow as the sales rep was bidding several jobs and had to reschedule my appointment by a day. Also, once I advised them I was accepting their proposal, I didnt hear from them as to an approximate installation date and had to call them. (I did get a letter in the mail the same day.) BUT, once their crew arrived, there was no holding them back. They swarmed all over, covering bushes, plants, grass, etc with a tarp and then proceeded to remove the existing roofing, damaged decking and started right in with the new materials. The overall process took about a half a day longer than they planned, but my roof has a number of peaks and valleys and one area of water damage was in a valley which is difficult to reach and they had to really expend some effort to repair that spot. After job cleanup was excellent, except for one roofing nail (gravel driveway), but they reimbursed me for the tire repair. All things considered - NO COMPLAINTS!!

This company had put in some skylights for me and did a great job, so when I noticed a stain on the bathroom ceiling, I called them. I was in a panic because the house was on the market and I needed to get it fixed before the house was shown. Even though it was a tiny job, they came quickly to evaluate the problem and fixed it very quickly. I really appreciated their working with me and being so helpful.

Chris was the salesman who came out to give us the estimate. He was very professional and helpful, even going as far as helping our insurance claims guy do the insurance estimate. He was very prompt in getting the paperwork done. We had ISSUES with the insurance people which held things up, but Atlanta Roofing was very good on their end of it. The guys came out and did the roof in one day. We needed some plywood for repairs, and they even did their best to cut the sheets in the most economical way to do the repairs. They cleaned up all the trash and nails and hauled it away in a truck. We did not have to deal with having a dumpster on the property and we were very pleased about that. Chris came back about two weeks later for the final inspection and to make sure we were satisfied with everything. They were not the least expensive estimate we had, but Chris was so helpful that we went with that company anyway.

My husband called to schedule the appointment a month ago. They called and said that it could be done and they would call back when they could get us on the books. Nearly a month later they called to schedule us for Tuesday. They called back the next day to confirm the color of the gutter. Tuesday came and went and no one showed up or called. I called their number and got an answering service and left a message. I called again Wednesday morning about ten minutes after 8 and got the answering service again. At 10 minutes after 9 I still had no returned call so I called again. I was assured that the crew would be at my home that day but no explanation about why they didnt show up the day before. After several more calls the crew did show up around 4:30 that afternoon. The work took 20 minutes and they were done. Overall, I wasnt impressed with the punctuality or communication. The work itself was fine.

We noticed several water stains on the ceiling. Turns out we had severe hail damage from a storm about 4 years earlier and were just now noticing it. Two other companies came out and quoted. One said, insurance wouldn't cover it. Other quotes were similar or higher than this one. This company said to report it, and insurance did cover most of it. Our rep provided a detailed quote, helped with insurance, provided references, and kept us informed of the progress and installation. They did an excellent job, cleaned up after leaving, and we couldn't be happier with the roof. We would highly recommend them.

We had three estimates. This was the only one, where the salesman tried to talk me out of upgrading. Our Salesman, Chris Hill, set me at ease. Not only did he describe the process in detail, he fielded my many questions, before during and after the sale with a smile. The crew worked very quickly and our roof was done in two days. As with any large project, there were a few minor things that weren't exactly, what I wanted. Chris sent a crew back and they worked with me to make everything EXACTLY, as I specified. It was amazing. They even drove me to Home Depot, to allow me to pick out exactly, what I wanted. Talk about service! Even, after the sale, Chris has called to make sure I was happy and had no issues. I cannot over emphasize how incredible their service was.

We had very good experience. The job was completed in just two days and the salesman followed up later for quality control. Communication with the salesman was also good. The price wasn't the lowest of three estimates but it was in the ballpark. The speed and quality of the job, along with the warranty and reputation of the company are why I would recommend this company to others.

They did fix some flashing and told us that we didnt need to have the roof repaired right now. They gave us a time frame on when we should look into getting the repair work done. I appreciated that they didnt just go ahead and do work that we didnt really need. We wont be using anyone else for our roofing work from now on.

Out of the 2 estimates I received, their was $500 less than the other company who didn't identify the problem accurately. They still leaked a little bit after they were at my house, so they came back out at no cost to do more work. They're very professional and I'd recommend them to others!

They started on time and finished on time. I was satisfied with the foreman who was in charge of the work. The only thing I was concerned about was that they had not gotten a permit from the city. The salesperson was very cordial, seemed to be genuinely interested.

I would not be opposed to using this company again. They are nice folks and gave a rather low bid for the work. They added the thirty extra sheets of plywood onto the end of the estimate they had already given me though. That added several thousand dollars to my bill. They also did not completely finish the eve work. I am still waiting until we get a long hard rain to most fully evaluate their work with my microscope. For the time being, you could call me a satisfied customer. I still feel they could lower their prices a little and improve a little upon the quality of their work in retrospect.

Al Cook was the guy who oversaw the work at our house. His crew started in June and they worked through Dec. 15th. They did a fantastic job and we could not have more pleased. He is a military man, so everything was done in a military like style, which we appreciated. We are going to hire them again to do some more work around our house.

The support staff was very professional. We recommended Atlanta Roofing Specialist to my Mother-in-law and they replaced her roof as well. They estimated about $6000 for the base work and an additional charge per plywood piece. We felt that was a reasonable price.

The crew did an excellent job and the job was completed within the time frame estimated although a lot of the old decking had to replaced on this 50 year old house. No shrubs were damaged and the entire area was always kept clean. We would certainly recommend ARS to other homeowners needing a new roof or roof repair. We will use ARS for gutters and gutter covers in September, we already have the ARS estimate.

A representative responded when contacted and took time to explain our choices, tell exactly what work would be done, supplied references, and answered questions, all without pressure. Costs were explained, and requested discounts were honored in final bill. The company was very patient while we decided on a color and gave us addresses where we could see finished roofs, and even brought shingle samples. Suggestions were given when requested. The work was done well and quickly, and the crew answered questions courteously. The work was 3/4ths completed the first day and it rained the following day. We had no concern about leaks because the roof, as well as supplies and equipment were covered. The work was completed the following morning. The ground was cleaned both days leaving the yard nail-free and looking better than before the work was done. We felt free to ask questions during final inspection.

We had a roof leak that was draining through a wall and all the way into the basement! They came out the same day and did a temporary, emergency patch. For the actual repair, they had to remove a skylight and replace an area of rotten wood underneath the shingles. They also replaced some vent gaskets that water was seeping in around. I truly thought we needed a whole new roof, so they were very honest. The price was exactly what was quoted and the work was done when promised.

Atlanta Roofing Specialists are very professional. They kept us informed as to when the job was scheduled and where there when they said that they would be. They completed the job in a day and a half even though extra material had to be gotten in order to complete the job. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof.

Excellent service provided by this company. Job was completed in two days. Roof was hand nailed. Property was left completely clean after each day. Workers took care not to trench the yard with their vehicles. A beautiful flashing job around the chimney. Our salesman matched the lower bid of another company.

I found ARS on Angie's list and Ga Home Reports and they had a great rating both places, so I went out on a limb (I usually go by word of mouth) and hired them. The team came out early on the first day with a crew of 6-7 (don't remember the exact count) they were clean and thorough. The second day they completed the project and cleaned behind themselves. This experience was much easier than I thought it would be. I would definitely recommend them to do your roof. They even provided homes in your area to see examples of different shingle colors.
