They were on time - to the minute - for the first appointment and presented me with an attractive proposal. After choosing the color I accepted the proposal later that day. The roof replacement and drip guards were completed, as scheduled, in a single day one week later. The chimney cap replacement took about twenty minutes about one week later. The appearance of the finished work is outstanding, and the clean-up was excellent. The ARS representative was a pleasure to work with. In all regards Atlanta Roofing Specialists performed an outstanding job.

They did a very extensive job at our home. There were a few issues, however, they were quick to remedy those issues. Their price was generally good. Their attention to detail was good as well.

This turned out to an excellent experience that left me with a better view of the condition of my house. I had originally contacted a chimney specialist and general contractor. But when I though about it, I was as concerned about the roof much as the chimney. This led me to search Angie's list for "roofers" who also repaired chimneys and then to highly rated Atlanta Roofing specialists. When I called for an appointment, I actually talked to the owner and then the assistant promptly scheduled an appointment for a free estimate. Loren arrived promptly to do the estimate at my home, he quickly and thoroughly assessed the wood problem. He really knew his business; when I looked at his card I realized that he was head of the "home construction" division of the business. I found him to be personable and willing to answer all of my questions. His contract amount (total for work + materials) was extremely reasonable and I signed the contract on the spot. The work began the next day with workmen Alan and Stanley arriving at the time that they promised. Both were very polite and friendly and kept me informed of what they found as they pulled off the boards. They let me see where they were replacing flashing under the chimney cap and at the roof edges. They came back the next day to do the final painting. It looks wonderful and I know that the chimney will last. I was given a 5 year warranty on the workmanship. Alan and Stanley were meticulous in cleaning up, hunting for every stray nail and wood chip. For the time spent and the professionalism of the work I feel that this was a true bargain. I will definitely call them again and refer them and Angie's list to my neighbors.

Every aspect went exactly as planned except for the delays due to deaths within our family. Atlanta Roofing Specialists were very understanding of our situation and kept adjusting the schedule to fit our needs.

Atlanta Roofing Specialists work was excellent. They were able to match the price of another company, which I thought was pretty good. They answered my questions and did things the way I wanted it done instead of the way they originally had planned.

I called Atlanta Roofing Specialist to have an estimate made on roof repairs for two different leaks. The employee, Dave Bishop, came out right on time and was very nice and respectful of my house and property. I explained that I had found two leaks inside, one of which I knew to be caused by a vent pipe that had been recently removed. I followed Dave up onto the roof and begin to talk to him about the causes. He decided that one leak was just as I suspected, a loose vent top that had been left on my roof by the HVAC company who installed a new system only weeks before. This would be approximately $300 to fix. The other was most likely caused by debris build-up in a valley in the roof and shoddy workmanship of who ever put the roof on to begin with, which was causing water to run up under the shingles and into the house.Here's where it got interesting. Instead of scheduling a day to come out and fix the issues, and after realizing that I was able to do repair work myself, Dave walked me around the roof and showed me some simple ways of repairing the roof myself. I was stunned that anyone/company would be willing to do this. The repairs that Dave suggested to me ended up costing about $50 (in supplies), as oppose to the ~$900 bill I would have gotten had I scheduled the company to come out and repair the issues. Of course, Dave told me that if any of the fixes he suggested didn't work, he and his company would would be happy to come back out and do a full repair.I am super grateful for Dave and Atlanta Roofing Specialists for their care for the customer and not the dollar bill. What Dave didn't know was that I am a residential investor and it is imperative that I cut my costs in any way possible. Due to Dave and Atlanta Roofing Specialist's great concern for the customer's well-being, I will take all of my roofing business to them from here on out. (which is a lot considering I own many houses and have to repair roofs several times a year)

They did a great job. They came on time and finished the work when they said they would. They left the dumpster in my driveway for a minimum amount of time which I appreciated. They did a great job on clean up and the roof looks great. They did a final inspection with me to make sure everything went okay. I would definitely recommend them to others.

We are very pleased with the roof. It has been inspected a couple of times for insurance and it has held up beautifully. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They even went around the yard with a magnet to make sure they picked up all the nails. When the shale came off the roof it fell into some rain puddles on our deck which caused a few stains, but this was no fault of Atlanta Roofing Specialists. I would certainly recommend them to others.

They tried to fix the leak but because my original roof was very poorly made it is still leaking. There are ridge vents on the roof which cause leaking because I have a high ceiling. Atlanta Roofing removed the ridge vents which worked for several months but then the leaking started again. The other company installed the shingles with a nail gun which is causing the shingles to come off. Atlanta Roofing did everything they could do because I don?t want to replace the roof. They were the 4th company I talked to and they were the most knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend them to others. If you are a home owner make sure that your old shingles get taken off completely and new ones installed correctly.

The workers showed up on time as promised. They did a good job. Several days later after the paint dried I noticed some minor touch up painting was required. The company and workers happily returned and made things first class.

A friend referred them to us. They were excellent and they did an excellent job. They came and checked on the work and they sent people back out to make sure everything was correct.

They were very professional. They did provide warranty, but I would have liked them to give it in writing. Their price was good. I haven’t been up on the roof myself, but as far as I know, the quality of their work has been okay; it hasn’t leaked again. They were on time, and they got back to me. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Our home was hit by lightening and we called Atlanta Roofing Specialists to put a tarp on the roof and provide an estimate for the repairs. They came right out and put the tarp on the roof, and we were very happy with their prompt response as we were expecting more rain later in the day. They told us they would provide an estimate on the repairs, but we did not receive one and after about 4 or 5 days, we called to inquire about the estimate. They told us they would provide it to us the next morning, but we had to call later the next day to inquire again. They sent the estimate late in the day. We had to call them back out to inspect the attic space as they had not inspected the attic for the first estimate and our insurance found damage in that area and needed an updated estimate. They came out on a Monday and said they would send an estimate right away but we had still not received one by Friday. We called again on Friday around noon and they said they would have it within a couple of hours. As of Saturday morning, we still don't have the estimate.

The one thing that I'm real upset with them about is that they talked me into getting rid of my exhaust fan in the attic and replacing it with a roofline ridge vent. They said that the ridge vent would do just as good a job of cooling the attic as the exhaust fan and that it would save money on electricity as well. NOT TRUE!!!!!!! I liked the exhaust fan. I kept the attic nice and cool. With the ridge vent in place, the attic was unbearably hot this summer. I wish I hadn't taken their advice. It was lousy advice.

A gentleman did come by our home to assess what we needed as far as siding work. He said he would provide an estimate within a few days. However, we still haven’t heard back from him several weeks later. My husband has called and left messages. Because they've been so unresponsive to our reqeust, I wouldn’t work with them again.

They are a great group of guys. They take the time to speak with their customers and explain things thoroughly. I was really pleased with everything they did. In fact, I don’t think they could have done anything better. Also, the price was definitely inline for the quality they gave me.

Their work turned out fine, and I haven’t had any problems such as leaks. The crew worked quickly, and cleaned up very well. In fact, you wouldn’t have even known they were here except for the new roof.

I will post another comment after the work is performed but when a company in the roofing business has been around under the same name ATLANTA ROOFING SPECIALIST, they are a trustworthy company. BE AWARE THERE ARE OTHER ROOFING COMPANIES THAT GO BY SIMILAR NAMES LIKE "ATLANTA ROOFING" with a word like Inc., or specialty. These other companies are not affiliated with the real thing, ATLANTA ROOFING SPECIALIST. After the Service: The crew that performed the service did an excellent job of fixing the roof, the short comming was that I found multiple cigarett butts in the yard and driveway as well as roofing nails. I did not see them use the magnetic pick up tool to clean the yard and driveway of any dropped nails. They are still an excellent company to do business with, but watch and make sure they clean up at the end.

They were on time, on budget, and cleaned up. I had used them prior to this and would use them again.

We think we have the best roof in the neighborhood! They are the most honest roofing company in this area. They might be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

They roof looks good, but they didn’t seal around the chimney properly. When I called them about the issue, they initially said the chimney wasn’t their responsibility. Therefore, I had to have a carpenter come out to fix the issue. I don’t think they are very good with follow up.

They were easy to deal, and did a very good job. Our roof is complicated to work on, and they did a great job managing it. Everything looks terrific!
