It has been 2 weeks since I received an estimate from David Bishop and the 650 was deducted from my charge card. However I have not heard anything from Atlanta Roofing Specialists and at this point I'm feeling robbed. I will never again purchase a prepayment coupon from Angie's List. I have left two messages today and I am awaiting a response from the company on when the service will be provided. I don't think I should have to chase them after all they have my money. I will update on how this turns out. The work is 90% complete. The corners on the left and right side of our garage did not receive gutter guard. The crew that worked on the job said they would be back to finish. I called the company and explained the issue. I received a return call from a gentlemen who said he was the supervisor for the crew. He said he would investigate and make sure the issue was resolved. That was over a month ago. Yesterday I received a notice threatening a lien on my property for none payment. I don't know what to do. I just want the work completed. I will be very happy to pay the bill but shouldn't the job be completed first? I don't understand why no one has bothered to follow-up with us about the job. I have sent a email today to the company's customer support email address with a picture of the section of the gutter I was able to get to, to show the work that needs to be completed.

Richter came out and inspected my home suggested that I have insurance, advantage come out, thankfully saved me money out of pocket.

These folks did a wonderful job. They are very efficient, professional, and courteous. I would be happy to use them again and to recommend them to others.

the installed a new roof,,,removed the old roof and hauled it away. Replaced allrotten wood. All in 1 day.

This was a insurance issue as regarded the roof. Replacement was on time and right to the penny quoted less the out of pocket for State Farm.

David Bishop the roof job estimator was very thorough, he doing his job and he was very helpful with helping me understand the roof estimate and even came back out to meet with my claims adjuster.

I called to set up a day for them to come out and give me an estimate on leak repairs that needed to be done. I got an answering service at 4:00 pm. He took down my information and said someone would contact me to schedule an appointment. His last question to me was, "Is this an emergency?" I said, "No." I still have not received a return phone call. It is May 28.

Extremely punctual. Professional, hard-working crew, and they did an excellent job. I am a pretty picky and detail oriented person, and they did everything I asked without complaint, and did it at a fair price. 18 months later, the roof has settled in very well with all of the previous issues from the old roof resolved.

We've used Atlanta Roofing Specialists to install a new roof at a previous residence two years ago and were happy with the experience and the knowledge of the staff. When we moved, we asked them to take care of some repairs to the roof that our inspector had identified. They showed up on time, completed the work as promised, stayed at the cost provided in the estimate, and cleaned up. We would use them again and recommend them to others.

Rictor Vipond came to perform the estimate. He was very professional, courteous and provided me with samples, references, proof of insurance and addresses for viewing previous work.

I liked the people. They were very thorough, fast and they cleaned up every night. It took them two days to do it all. They went through full inspection with me. The insurance company took care of the price.

The crew of eight men arrived before the 7am agreed upon start time. They came with several trucks and sat at the bottom of the driveway until 7 and then rang the doorbell to begin work. They worked in a manner that indicated they were well versed in their roles and responsibilities. They continuously swept up the drive, the steps and removed all of the debris. The entire operation was very fluid and the result was a first class roof replacement. As a result of this experience I have contracted with them to do two other operations on our home. It is reassuring to find a company that is as good as they seem. I would recommend them without reservations.

We are very pleased with the quality and workmanship of Atlanta Roofing Specialists. We used them 6 years ago to repair a leak in our roof around the chimney. They did a great job and extended the life of our old roof. It was last replaced 20 years ago. We had three companies give us an estimate on a new roof but Atlanta Roofing consultant Rictor Vipond was the best. He took his time with us, gave us ideas and left us samples of roofing material to play with to help us decide what color to go with. We also needed some wood rot repair , siding replacement and exterior painting done. We also got three estimates for that work, and decided to go with Atlanta Roofing Construction division. Alan Beatty was the supervisor for that work and he and his crew did excellent work. Atlanta Roofing Specialists gave us an estimate for all work done. There were a few surprises when the old roof was torn off and some adjustments in the price had to be made, but they consulted with us every step of the way and asked permission before additional work was done. We have had a lot of rain after the work was completed and the roofing system performed flawlessly. We have received many compliments from our neighbors after the work was completed and would highly recommend Atlanta Roofing Specialists.

Came out right away and took lots of pictures of what they saw on the roof. Took them about a week and a half to come back and actually do the work. Nothing is leaking now so they got it fixed properly, but felt it was a pretty long window to get the work done. If we wouldn't have signed a contract, we probably would have sought another bid. Can't say I wouldn't not use them in the future, but I would definitely ask how long it would take them to repair an issue.

My experience with Atlanta Roofing Specialists began with a visit from David to prepare to discuss the situation and prepare a quote. David took the time to answer all my questions, point out areas of concern, and suggest and quote both a repair and a complete new roof. I choose a complete new roof with upgraded materials, Within in a week Rick and his crew of 5 arrived to strip off the old roof and begin the installation of the new roof. The crew worked with a short break for lunch from before 8 until after dark. All debris was collected for removal. Johnnie the area manager also visited early in the morning to verify all materials has been correctly received. Glad he came as the materials were incorrect. The work was scheduled to resume the next morning but we experienced cold weather with below freezing temperatures and work was postponed. The crew was back the next day and completed the job and a thorough clean up. In my younger days I replaced a roof or two and have a modicum of roofing knowledge. Based on that experience I feel that the workmanship is excellent. The weather guard, deck guard, drip cap, flashing and ridge venting was well installed and the shingling is straight and uniform. While more that I hoped to spend I feel the price is reasonable, more so considering the quality of the roof and installation. I received 4 quotes for the job, and ARS ended up being the highest cost and also the best value. The ARS quote before the addition of the upgrades was in line with two other quotes. David just arrived this morning to provide me with the warranty, paid receipt, and to complete the 40 point inspection of the complete job. The inspection was comprehensive, and David found things that I did not. The crew will back to correct minor problems that David found. Tomorrow is supposed to be a day of severe thunderstorms, 20-30 mph winds, and 1-2 inches of rain. I will be pleased to sit in my house and hear no drips or see any new stains on the ceiling! In summary, great people, great job, great value

The Atlanta Roofing Specialists Company was courteous, professional, and prompt in giving me an estimate. Once I decided to go with ARS and gave them the job it took about a week to get my new roof and a couple extra days to get the gutters and gutter guards put on. Company was on time, did a great job, and cleaned up meticulously afterwards. They left no trash behind and didn?t damage the driveway. They came afterwards for an inspection and a couple of things needed fixing which they did within a reasonable amount of time. Over all, I am very happy with the work and I would go with the company again if needed.

Although it took a week of sun up to sun down to complete the tear off and new installation, it was worth the noise and mess. Because my interior ceilings are tongue and groove decking, I knew that during the tear off debris would slip through the grooves and create a mess. I didn't need to worry. The first morning the workers appeared they came with tarps and rolls of plastic to cover exposed areas in the interior of my house. Great care was also taken to protect outside flora. Atlanta Roofing Specialists, Mark Rutherford, and the roofers were wonderful to work with. I am very pleased with the final results, and sleep better during rainstorms now!

Although the quality of the work was good, and I am pleased with the roof, ARS haggled with me over the pricing at the end. They made errors in the original estimate, went back to my insurance company for more $$, and then came back to me for the portion of the rest. If they had handled this differently up-front, I would have been fine. In the end, I had a heated conversation with their finance admin person (and I rarely get upset), and paid up. My neighbor had the same experience. I would not use them again.

They actually did a very good job. Any questions that we had about the work, the owner personally came back and made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. I would recommend him and I would hire him again.

I sought 3 recommendations and related cost quotes for ventilation of my homes attic after upgrading the insulation to the current recommended level. This provider recommended installing a ridge vent and advised me that the soffit venting was adequate for my purposes. One provider also recommended installing a ridge vent but advised I would also need to add some additional soffit venting. The 3rd provider recommended the installation of an electric roof fan instead of a ridge vent. The price quotes for the 3 recommendations were approximately the same and did not sway my decision. Due to the confusion I now had in attempting to decide between the 3 different suggestions, I researched the issue online and found that the proper matching of up flow venting and out flow venting in a roof attic is complex and involves detailed measurement procedures. I knew I was in over my head and decided to go back to the provider's and seek additional recommendations. I had already concluded that installing a ridge vent was the preferred solution, but remained confused regarding the sufficiency of the soffit venting. The representative from ARS had arrived at the exact appointment time, was extremely professional, and appeared quite knowledgeable. Due to my positive experience with him, I contacted the company to seek some further advice in choosing the appropriate solution, and was directed to one of the company's owners. He spend a great deal of time listening to my questions and was very understanding of my confusion. He advised me that the service technician who had provided the quote would call me back to discuss further, and he did call me that same afternoon. He too was very patient and understanding of my confusion, so he had me provide some additional information regarding the soffit vents on my home and advised he would get back to me shortly with further advice. That follow up occurred the next day and he provided me with industry measurement information that confirmed the number of soffit vents I had was sufficient to work properly with the ridge vent they proposed to install. We agreed to move forward with the project and I scheduled the work. The installers called me well in advance of my scheduled appointment time to confirm the job, and when they later determined they were running a little behind schedule, they called again to advise me of that well in advance. They then showed up at the revised time and proceeded to complete the work. They too were very friendly and professional and their work was completed within the time frame they advised it would take. The roof was left spotless and the shingles installed over the ridge vent blended in very nicely with the existing roof, which is many years old. The new ridge vent was the only evidence any work had been performed on my roof. The quote to perform this work was presented to me as the company's minimum for roof repair work. As explained above, significant time and care was taken by several members of this company's team to help me decide on the proper solution for my roofing needs, and I can't imagine they could have been more service oriented even if I was having an entire roof replacement. They could have upsold me on the idea of additional soffit venting but, instead, took great care in putting my mind at ease that the additional expenditure was not necessary. I was very impressed with all aspects of their work and will most definitely call on them again for my future roofing needs

ARS did a very nice job, very professional. The salesman David was very thorough and honest about the roof repair estimate. Roof repair guy was also professional and cleaned up are well afterwards. No complaints, there might be a cheaper estimate out there, but overall very happy with the company and their service. I was willing to forego a bit on the price to know it would be done right by qualified professionals.

I was not there, it was at my daughter's house. She said they were there right at seven with the trash bin, she liked how they took turns eating lunch so someone working at ll times.
