Description of Work: Prompt and professional appointment to design and discover needs. Not pushy on pricy upgrades. Thorough review in their showroom prior to payment and release on construction. Installation done by two courteous installers in one business day. I would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: I received estimates from artisan for two separate projects (garage and bedroom office space). I had decided to use Artisan over another competitor because I was pleased with the design for the bedroom office project and only minor adjustments were needed to the design. I had already picked out my wood, table topping and made arrangements to paint the room in line with the materials I selected for the bedroom office job. However, Artisan was not available when I was ready to start the garage project (first portion of the job) so I use the other contractor. | |I contacted Artisan again when I was ready to start the bedroom office project but when my contact found out that I used another contractor for the garage (small job) she took her time about responding and following up with me, and then made unprofessional comments about my using the other contractor and gloating about the fact that that was reason I got poor service. I took offense to her comments and contacted the owner of the company who on the surface seemed sincere and apologetic about working with me to make things right. She even offered to cut me a break on the price but instead of working with me on the details in line with what they could offer she replied they can't do what I needed and just stopped responding to my follow up questions about the project. However, she did offer to get me the supplies I needed to finish off the garage but when I contacted her about it she again 1) avoided answering or addressing my specific questions about pricing except to say something about shipping charges were included and she addressed things I did not ask for such as installation 2) she never provided me with a breakdown of the cost but quoted me what appeared to be a significantly inflated price of over $1,000 for 8 to 12 hooks, a plain solid shelf, 3 tie racks and 4 or 8 Handiwall panels whereas my pricing of the same items only came to $350 not counting the scarf/belt racks which I did not have a price for. She also stated that she was not able to provide me with a discount in spite of her prior comments to give a discount based on the way I was treated previously by one of her staff members. The owner's responses or lack of response concerning my bedroom office project and additional miscellaneous purchase requests made it clear to me that in spite of her statement to make things right with me she really was not sincere. She did not even return my phone call so I expressed my disappointment and now I am moving on. | |

Description of Work: Designed and Installed custom office. The planning and sales process was flawless. The only problem was that the formica top was damaged on inspection before install. It took several weeks before a replacement could be crafted. This delayed the project. Otherwise everything is fine

Description of Work: Installed master closets. Excellent quality of material and workmanship. The designers were helpful and patient.I never felt any pressure. The installers were punctual, professional and cleaned up the job site as well. Im actually talking to them about doing the garage now.

Description of Work: Artisan Closets was very prompt in contacting me after I purchased the Angie's List deal and throughout the entire process. My consultant was very knowledgeable and had good ideas of how best to use the small master closet space. I really like that the closets are made locally, and the installer was very professional and efficient. We've had the closet for a couple months now, and we love it! I would absolutely use Artisan Custom Closets again and recommend them to my friends!
