Artisan Custom Closets

Contacted Artisan and Leslie visited to examine the closet and take measurements. We discussed our preferences and Leslie scheduled a visit to the showroom to see examples of various closet arrangements. We then scheduled the work with Kenyatta, who set a date for construction. Chris appeared on the first day to remove the previous shelving, spackle and paint the closet. The following day Oscar appeared and installed the beautiful finished product. All phases of the work moved along as scheduled. Craftsmanship from all representatives was outstanding.

They were very professional and arrived right at 8:00. (We were told between 8:00 and 9:00).

Everything about the process was very smooth. From the consultations with Lesley which were a pleasure through the flawless implementation completed on schedule as promised.

Couldn't have went any better. Artisan came in took dimensions of our closet, and worked within our budget to come up with a solution. On the day of installation they showed up on time and did a great job. We are completely happy with the quality and service we received. I typically don't leave reviews but I wanted to express our gratitude to Artisan for this experience. Lesley came to our home at the latter part of 2015 to provide us with some options for our Master Closet. We started off with the traditional wire shelves and hang that the builder had installed. Needless to say we did not have an efficient usage of space. Lesley came in, and basically took charge by looking over our existing, working out how much hang and shelving we would need. She took cues by the way we had arranged our stuff and created a plan that she thought would best fit us. Our first design rendition came back within a couple of days and we then customized further, but to be honest, she was pretty close the very first time. My wife was a little hesitant because she thought the design was going to make her lose hang space. We consequently had a number of quotes from a number of vendors and we elected to proceed with artisan because of response from Lesley, the attention to detail, and perceived value for money. Once we committed on 4/21, Kay called on 4/23 to schedule within 3 weeks and emailed 4/26 with a preparation for installation guide. We held out for a 4 week install and then Jeremy came in. Jeremy removed the existing fixtures, which we kept to re-purpose, and then installed our new custom closets. He completed the install with 3 hours to spare, cleaned up behind himself and patched the holes from the the old fixtures, there was also a small adjustment he had to make on the fly which worked out perfectly. Overall a great process and fantastic result, and one that I would recommend without reservation. I'd like to personally thank Lesley, Kay and Jeremy for making this a wonderful experience and I am sure we will be using them for other work in the future.

Everything about our experience with this company was great. The initial appointment setting was very accommodating and the designer coming out only a few days later was great for our timing as we had company coming to town in a few months and needed the work completed pretty soon. Even when traffic was a problem the designer called ahead to tell us she was running late. It was great to see the showroom to confirm the materials and then the installers were both professional and very respectful of our home and belongings. We were surprised at how clean they worked and how quickly the work was done. We have had multiple compliments from friends on how great they look and will be reaching out soon to do our garage as we saw some great samples at the showroom we loved and want to get our garage fixed up!

I am extremely pleased with the work and product I have received from Artisan Custom Closets. They completed the install today on my Master Bedroom closet as well as office closet. Both closets look amazing and I could not be more pleased. Everyone I have met from the organization has been great to work with and eager to please. Our contractor recommended Artisan Custom Closets. Their representative met us at the house and looked at each closet to determine the optimum arrangement of shelves for our needs. After tweaking the details, we signed the contract. Several weeks later the components had been custom fabricated for our space. The installation crew was professional and competent. Our closets look great and are very functional. Most shelves are adjustable in height. The shelf color and style and be selected from a variety of options, and the standard selections are very nice. I looked at many providers of shelving of various types. Artisan Custom Closets was not the least expensive option, but we were replacing wire shelving from a big box store, and their product was a definite upgrade. I strongly feel that the price is very reasonable for the quality and appearance of their product. I would use them again without question. The most salient factor in being a customer of Artisan Custom Closets is their customer-oriented approach, a company-wide culture. In every instance, and there were two that come to mind, when I found that some component was functioning properly for me, the company replaced those items without question. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends.

Started getting quotes from various providers, and the Dawn from Artisan Custom Closets came as one of the provider and I am really impressed with the way she has taken the Measurements and explained. Immediately I decided to give her the Work. Then after couple of email exchanges with the designs we finally agreed upon a design and Paid for the Project. Then Dealt with Kenyatta who deals with schedules etc. Then on the day of installation we are more impressed with the professionalism that Artisan Team members adhere to, Wow thats really great. He did the installation very cleanly and nothing to point out. Excellent Job. Same happened to Custom Pantry, by this time Dawn has became as our family member, she came to our home and draw the designs went with the Order Confirmation. We absolutely love the work and quality of the product they deliver. SIMPLY AMAZING! Artisan Custom Closets deserve your consideration! Lesley, their senior designer, is hands down the best in the business! She listened, suggested and PRODUCED the ideas EXACTLY as we dreamed. The next part of the project is the installation. Their installer team, lead by Brian, were also best in business! Can you imagine a team of installers showing up EARLY to do a job? I certainly can't, but they DID. VERY impressed. Exceptional professionalism, superior work ethic and great personalities. They did a fantastic job! I'll finish this this... I will NEVER use another company for custom organizational systems PERIOD... unless Artisan gives me a reason to go somewhere else, but I simply can't imagine that ever happening. The entire experience was phenomenal from beginning to end. My designer, Lesley, is a genius at maximizing storage. She was extremely professional and personable and a joy to work with. Her design is amazing and I still love it every time I open my pantry. The installers were punctual and very courteous. Dave and Oscar did a fantastic job. The workmanship is flawless. I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with Artisan.

Alley Sandy was great in figuring out what we needed to make our pantry in the kitchen, more functional. We have much more room and the wire baskets are great other items, such as onions, crackers and chips etc. The materials are very sturdy and I love being able to move the shelves around to accommodate our needs. Alley was very helpful in understanding what our wants and needs were for this space. Oscar installed our shelves in a very timely manner and was on time and cleaned up the area before he left. I was very impressed with Alley Sandy who was the designer for the project. I was looking for storage in an office and hanging space and storage in the guest bath. Alley was incredibly patient as we worked through three-- maybe four different plans. She was professional in her approach and her follow through. The installation went very smoothly. There were a couple of problems in the process including a gouged door and some fairly deep scars on new hardwood floors. However, when I reported these the company was very quick to send someone out to remedy the issues. I have loved the closets and would use this company over and over again. The original pricing was in line with other companies who also gave me estimates, however, there was a cost advantage as well with the discount to Angie's List members.

my design consultant, Alley Sandy, was awsome! She came out and measured my closet very quickly. I got to look at some of the companies previous work and was very impressed. I chose my closet type, drawer pulls and how many drawers I wanted. She's good at looking at what you have in your area and recommending the best solution for you. I admit that I was a little nervous about the number of drawers she said I'd need. I didnt think it would be enough but wanted to keep the price low (drawers are the most expensive). Glad I didnt add more. The drawers are so deep that I actually have lots of room left in each. On the day of installation, the installer came out on time and had everything done in 4 1/2hrs. He was very nice and professional. It was a wonderful experience.

Alley Sandy who was our design consultant was great. We received quotes and designs from other companies and what Alley out together was perfect and much better than any other company. I really liked all of the options and choices we had. It made it feel really custom versus other companies where fitting stock designs into our measurements. The whole process was easy and I did not feel any pressure to sign a contract. She allowed us to take our time and make our final decision when we were ready. The day of the install was really simple and quick. There office was great about communicating in advance and making sure everything was set up. Alley made two trips out to our home and was really good about answering all of our questions before we signed the final contract. She took the time to put together a really great design that turned out really great for both me and my husband. I like that they offered to remove all of the old closet material, we ended up doing this before our install, but it was a really nice feature to have available at no extra cost.

Prior to deciding to go with Artisan, we received quotes from 3 other custom closet providers. Outside of Home Depot whose product is much less customized, all the providers were relatively similar. They all use roughly the same type of material and have different variations of colors and finishes. Not only did Artisan quote come in a few hundred dollars under their competitors, our designer, Alley, was much more professional, timely, and personal relative to the other designers. The overall experience with Artisan starting with Alley as our designer was first class. Their price was by far best, even more so after buying the Angie's list deal. Alley did a great job designing the Master bedroom in our condo. The end result maximized usable space, plus made the whole closet look 100x better and crisper. We were happy with the overall quality of the material used as well. We're very happy with the design of our weirdly shaped pantry as well. At an estimate, we can fit about 50% more in the pantry. Our experience was so good, we asked Artisan to come back and do the guest room, which they also did a great job on.

The service and professionalism in unmatched by any other Angie's List referral I have used. Lesley is amazing and extremely responsive to customer needs. Although they are a bit pricey, it is worth it as they are always on time and on point. I am using them again this month to do the closet in my son's room.

It was an excellent experience!! We received an email with the design the next day. We couldn't decide from the diagrams, so we drove up to the showroom. After seeing the systems for ourselves we decided and placed the order. It was ready and installed in the amount of time promised. The installers worked quickly and efficiently no the job was finished in less time than first anticipated. I would use Alley Sandy and Artisan Custom Closets again with no hesitation!
