Description of Work: ARS missed multiple committed appointment dates for contracted HVAC service over a two year period. Management was largely indifferent, e.g. "nothing I can do". Eventually they offered a 1-year free service contract. But, at this point, the lack of trust and confidence in this company outweighs any amount of "free service".

Description of Work: I don't know much about AC, but they explained everything. I needed to replace the AC, thermostat and other items, but the furnace was still fine. They helped me to choose the right model and gave discounts along the way.

Description of Work: AC unit was blowing out hot air. The technician quickly identified the problem as being a bad run capacitor in the outside unit. I pay for a regular yearly maintenance service that's supposed to help keep my price down. However, paying $285 to replace a bad capacitor, which took the tech about 15 minutes is high. Later, I found I could purchase that capacitor for about $25 and could have/should have replaced it myself.

Description of Work: Replaced a water regulator for the main line coming into the house. They were also supposed to repair the leaking faucet in one of the bathrooms and did not the first time but said they did. Luckily I had everyone's name that came out to my house and I was able to tell who was supposed to have done the repairs. All and all good work but more of a hassle to have to meet them again to come repair what was supposed to be repaired the first time

Description of Work: sales person was very deceitful. suggested we only had until dec 31, 2014 to buy/install 13 SEER units. After that date, not available in Georgia with any manufacturer or installer. Upon interviewing other providers, educated to know this was completely false, ARS was trying to use fear to close a deal. They are known for their high pressure tactics. ALWAYS price shop/vendor shop when making large purchases.

Description of Work: Replaced furnace and air conditioning system. Then 2 mos later had to replace furnace again because we encapsulated our crawlspace and needed a different system. They worked great with us and with Aquaguard, the crawlspace encapsulators. Gave us a large discount on the second furnace since we had just purchased one. They have given us 2 free inspections since then (furnaces installed January and March 2014). We also used them for duct cleaning - they did a thorough job.
