Description of Work: They instal for Home Depot and their unit did not pass Sandy Springs inspection. They replaced it with the wrong unit and then promising to give us a unit of equal or greater value they replaced it yet again with another incorrect unit. Along the way they lied and so did home depot.

 + -1 moreI HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM WITH UNIVERSAL SYSTEMS. THE SALES APPT (RICK WAS OUR SALESMEN) WENT A LOT BETTER THAN I HAD ANTICIPATED. NO PRESSURE. THEY WORKED OUT THE TERMS TO MY LIKING AND SETUP THE APPT TO DO THE WORK MUCH FASTER THAN I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT. THE INSTALLERS WERE TOP RATE, THEY SENT A 3 MAN CREW THAT DID THE ENTIRE JOB IN ABOUT 7 HOURS. THE GUYS CLEANED UP EVERY SPECK OF DUST THEY LEFT BEHIND. THEY EVEN REPLACED ABOUT 20 FOOT OF FLEX DUCT IN THE BASEMENT FOR NO CHARGE. THEY EXPLAINED ALL OF THE EQUIPMENT FUNCTION AND OPERATION. THEY WENT OVER ALL OF THE WARRANTIES. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH UNIVERSAL (AND I SHOULD FOR SPENDING OVER $10K). I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS HVAC REPLACEMENT.
Description of Work: WE MOVED INTO A HOUSE THAT WAS 16 YEARS OLD AND HAD 2 16 YEAR OLD HVAC SYSTEMS, WHEN WE HAD THE HOME INSPECTED WE WERE TOLD THAT THE UNITS WERE IN POOR CONDITION. SO, IT WASN'T A BIG SURPRISE THAT THEY WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED (JUST A LITTLE SOONER), I CALLED UNIVERSAL AND SETUP AN APPT, WHICH THEY SHOWED UP FOR ON TIME. I KNEW AHEAD OF TIME WHAT I WANTED, SO THERE WASN'T ANY HIGH PRESSURE. THE APPT TO DO THE WORK WAS SETUP FOR THE NEXT DAY (SATURDAY). WE PURCHASED 2 LENNOX DUEL FUEL HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS, INCLUDING 2 GAS FURNACES, 2 HEAT PUMPS (13 SEER), NEW PADS, NEW ELECTRONIC THERMOSTATS AND LINESETS. BY PURCHASING THIS EQUIPMENT WE GOT $1200 OFF EACH UNIT, $600 IN REBATES FROM GA POWER AND 2 WHOLE HOUSE HEPA AIR FILTERS.

 + -1 moreTHEY HAD TO COME BACK 3 TIMES BECAUSE OF PROBLEMS WITH THE INSTALLATION. THEY GRUMBLED ABOUT REMOVING THE OLD DISHWASHER BECAUSE WE HAD NEW VINYL FLOORING. FINALLY, THEY DID AGREE TO DO MOVE IT AND INSTALL THE OTHER DISHWASHER. I RAN THE DISHWASHER 3 TIMES THAT SAME NIGHT, AND WE STILL HAD DIRTY DISHES THE NEXT MORNING. IT WASN'T GETTING ANY WATER. THEY DID FINALLY COME BACK OUT AND TOLD ME THAT THE DISHWASHER DIDN'T WORK, SO I HAD THEM PUT BACK IN MY OTHER DISHWASHER. THEY DIDN'T INSTALL IT CORRECTLY SO THE MANAGER CAME OUT AND PROMISED TO MAKE IT RIGHT. THEY HAD DAMAGED MY CABINETS AND FORMICA COUNTERS AND HE SENT OUT A GUY TO FIX IT. I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. I ENDED UP HAVING TO BUY A NEW DISHWASHER AND HAD A DIFFERENT COMPANY INSTALL IT.

WAS VERY NICE, CLEANED OUT ONE TOILET TANK TO SHOW ME HOW TO DO IT, WROTE ME UP AN ESTIMATE FOR REPLACING THE TOILETS WHEN I GET READY TO DO THAT AND DIDN'T CHARGE ME A CENT FOR THE VISIT. LAST TIME I CHOSE A PLUMBER OUT OF THE PHONE BOOK, HE CHARGED ME $100 JUST TO DRIVE OUT TO THE HOUSE.
Description of Work: CALLED THEM OUT BECAUSE MY TOILETS WERE NOT FLUSHING PROPERLY. I THOUGHT I MIGHT HAVE A TREE ROOT PROBLEM IN THE PIPES.
